That all worked like a charm, thanks!

    Further update:
I normally develop using Chrome, but decided to try adding the API using a different browser and so tried using Firefox. This worked!
Keep in mind I’d cleared the caches both server and browser in Chrome, but the API only loaded on two of my six sites – odd.
Using Firefox, the API key went through straight away on the sites that it didn’t previously work.
    Hope this helps?

Hi Yigit – I’ve done two things:
    1) generated a new token, just in case there was an issue with the old one
    2) added the define statement to the wp-config
Still no joy, I’m afraid. I enter the token and click the “check the private token” button and the top right green “save all changes” button starts to whir but doesn’t complete the action – left for about 2 mins before refreshing the page.
For info, I’m using Litespeed Cache and have tried clearing these…

EDIT – also, because I’m unsure what other impacts the define option might have, I have commented it out for now…
EDIT 2 – I have tried on one of my other Enfold sites, worked fine and this is same server/cache setup – a further site has the same issue. All sites running PHP7.2 and a child theme

    Hi,

I have 6 Enfold licenses and 6 Enfold sites. Do I need (or is it good practice) to add difference API token to each site, or is it fine to use one “master” token for all my Enfold site?

I have just updated to the latest version manually (via cPanel) and version 4.5 works fine, but it doesn’t allow me to verify my new token, the circle in the update button just whirls… Is this expected while we wait for a further release?

    Thanks
    Steve

    Hi Ismael,

That seems to have fixed the issue, thank you very much :)

    Hi Basilis,

I think I’ve not been clear. The screens that I posted are what is currently happening — which isn’t normal, is it?

All I want is for the header to work exactly as it should (like it does in all my other Enfold websites). I DON’T WANT the dark background like the screenshot, I just want the standard glass header to appear on desktop/tablet, but when the browser is at certain resolutions, the background goes fiull grey which it shouldn’t.

To see for yourself, please open the website link from the initial post in a browser and slowly resize your browser smaller. Between certain resolutions, the header goes all dark grey and I don’t want that and I don’t believe this should be happening???

Please see video link in private area

Does that make sense, sorry if I’m not clear?

    Hi, any update on this?
    Thanks

in reply to: Glass header not working as expected on tablets #961202

    Thanks Victoria,

The 990px is fine, it’s just that at a certain res, the glass header goes all grey before it turns to a ‘mobile’ menu — see screens in private area.

    Thanks

in reply to: Enfold API key for multiple site #931189

    Hi Rikard,
So do you mean create a new API key for each site? That’s fine, I can do that.
I need to purchase 2 more licenses soon, so I will have 4 Enfold sites in total. I will generate a new API key for each site in Envato and assign each a label that corresponds with the site name – is that what you think will work best?
    Thanks

Thanks Rikard. And yes, I found you to have always provided great support :)

Thanks Victoria, with a little editing, this seems to have done the trick.
    Two follow up questions:
    1. From a performance perspective and how caching might handle the calls for CSS files, is it best to use the child theme CSS file to put additional CSS or the quick CSS field in the theme’s General Styling?
    2. Do you have any documentation of which CSS ID’s and Classes to use to target things like this? In Chrome dev tools it’s clear there are a lot of different classes at work and I find it difficult to understand the right ones to operate on.
    Thanks

Yes, I think this can now be marked as closed.

Thanks for the help and for getting back to me quickly.

    Hi Mike,

Yes, this does indeed seem to have resolved the issue. Thank you!

It also seems to have cured the strange issue with the font becoming enlarged in the main page copy – do you know why that might be, or did you alter an Enfold setting?

Is this likely to be a change that could cause a conflict with core Enfold updates in the future (I’m using a child theme)?

    Thanks again,
    Steve

    Hi again,

If you look at the Evernote link from above, I added three more screenshots. You will see a page that as I shrink it down, when the breadcrumb issue occurs, the body font also gets weighted heavier and as I continue to shrink the browser window to represent a mobile, the breadcrumb work as expected and the fonts also go back to normal weight.

    ??

    Thanks, Mike.

I added the CSS and this has worked to a degree. An issue that remains is that at the point where the breadcrumb used to disappear (they now show, after adding your code) it goes very narrow.

If you visit the private link below then adjust the browser window narrower, you will see that when the hamburger menu kicks in, the breadcrumb applies a shorter container hight. If you continue to narrow the window, it soon gets taller. It’s as though there are some misconfigured breakpoints, somewhere?

Also added a link to some screens with Deve Tools open and css selectors highlighted

in reply to: The Related section of the portfolio items pages is broken #851660

I wanted to follow up to say that I’ve fixed the issue.

It was, in fact, related to JetPack. By default, Jetpack has a setting enabled to show related posts. Clearly, this isn’t required as the theme has a built in feature.

Hopefully, this answer will prove helpful to others – a bit of a gotcha!

    Thanks
    Steve
