Hi,

As I wrote in the other thread:

With WP-nextpage alone you can see the end tag of the container in which –nextpage– is placed on the following page [/code, text, …]

<–nextpage–> breaks the ALB blocks. The start of the block is on the first page, the end tag on the next. The Layout Builder cannot cope with this.

Hi,

unfortunately, the new page_split.php does not have the desired effect ,,,

Hi,

I cloned the site to a private subdomain. But I now know what the problem is. The error is part of https://kriesi.at/support/topic/page-split-2/. If you remove the element “Page Split” AND the block above it with the WP-nextpage, then the preview will be rendered.

But the sidebar is not displayed on the right and the tab element shows incorrect lists. If you – after deleting “Page Split” – edit before all tabs in the tab element (with update) everything works.

You can do anything on this work site. The ALB template for portfolio-item /bundesland-musterstadt/ is saved as “PORTFOLIO VORLAGE”.

Günter

Hi Ismael,

child theme cannot be. I have the same problem with Enfold (not enfold_child). I have not tried it with deactivated plugins.

Until the next update I have changed the preview permalink with the hook “preview_post_link” to the portfolio permalink.

Best Regards,
Günter

Hi Ismael,

A major update recently took place on the website after years. It is running version 4.8.6.5. File compression is disabled (a problem with a mass of files in /uploads/avia_config/)

So shortly after the update, it would be an unreasonable effort to reconcile all modified files in the child theme with changes to the original in the parent theme.

Hi Mike,

no, I’m talking about the placeholder text that I see when I open a new layout builder tab element. This is the German translation of the string “Tab Content goes here”.

in reply to: Permalink Problem #1327946

Hi Rikard,

the problem keeps recurring. But if I see the “bad” link “../wp-content/” while editing a tab, I close the window and open it again. In a newly opened window I see the “good” “https://www.etc” again. Sometimes I see “Reiter-Inhalt hier einfügen” and sometimes “Reiter-Inhalt hier einfügen” with perfect German umlaut.

Maybe a server problem? Configuration? PHP? I have no idea.

Hi,
And something new again: After selecting “Fix WP bug, disable unique timestamps” in the Enfold Settings> Performance, the problem now seems to have been solved.

I hope this time the all-clear is correct.
Günter

in reply to: Permalink Problem #1327755

New correction:
It’s an enfold problem. When you first enter a link like https: //www.domain/wp-folder / … the rewrite works. But if you open the tab or the text field again to make changes, the error described occurs.

So you would have to re-enter all the links with every change!

Hi,

the updated version doesn’t work either. But the workaround works well.

With WP-nextpage alone you can see the end tag of the container in which –nextpage– is placed on the following page [/code, text, …]

Thank you for your efforts,

in reply to: Mappress Plugin #1327172

Hi,

The plugin developer solved the problem. The editor now shows the button:

Hi,
I’ve updated the MapPress button, so it will hopefully be compatible with Enfold and other plugins that dynamically create editors.
It’s installed on your system. Please let me know how it works for you.
Regards,
Chris Richardson

I assume the solution will be incorporated into regular Mappress updates as well.

Best regards,
Günter

Hi Günter,
unfortunately, the new page_split.php does not have the desired effect:

• The page links are not displayed.
• The following page /page/2/ shows a 404 error.
• The shortcodes in the layout builder no longer work.
• The previous workarround with nextpage + avia_template_builder_nextpage no longer works either.

IHi,
think there is some bug in the code. When changing from page 2 to page 1 the console shows the error
GET https://www.domain/2/ 404 not found, even though the url should be https://www.domain/page/2/

(Without additional WordPress nextpage https://www.domain/page/2/ would also be empty.)

Günter

in reply to: Mappress Plugin #1326915

Hi,
Then we hope that the empty container can be filled soon.

Thanks for the support!
Günter

in reply to: Mappress Plugin #1326455

Hi Rikard,

I’ll be more specific: the plugin has been generating maps on portfolio pages for years. The screenshot with the existing button is also from a portfolio page. In the portfolio admin in the metabox “Portfolio Additional Settings” the Mappress button also appears in the editor. https://www.dropbox.com/s/dxcoy5vsfmwvm2f/Portfolio-Additional-Settings.png?dl=0
The button is only suppressed where I need it, in the Layout Builder editor. Why? How can the problem be solved?

The plugin developer says:

MapPress doesn’t restrict the button to any particular editor, so I can’t say why it’s suppressed. You can ask Enfold support if they can make a suggestion.http://mappresspro.com/chris-contact

Thanks for the solution!
This unnecessary entry made working with important entries such as “Private” really confusing.

Hi Mike,
the Change Log only says what has been changed, but unfortunately not in which files.

Hello Barnez1,
I have now installed Notepad ++ and briefly tested the ‘compare files’ function. That seems to be a really helpful tool.

Thanks to both of you!

Yes, there was a reason. My premium plugin “SUMO Subscriptions” was not yet fit for WP 5+. Now I have seen that with the last update on January 27th SUMO resolved this Problem. I’m going to upgrade to WP 5.3.x now.

in reply to: Mailchimp pre-filed fields #1164037

Hi Victoria,

thanks for the tip. I still found a solution without php knowledge. In the shortcode, the individual fields have an option value. I have packed the newsletter shortcode into a new shortcode and can thus enter the values for the individual fields as a variable, for example: [av_mailchimp_field id = '0' label = 'Email Address' type = 'text' value = '$email' disabled = '' check = 'is_email'] .

Best regards

Hi Victoria,

pity, but the less elegant version with the manually copied form works yes.

Thanks anyway

Plan A

I am looking for a way to fill in the fields of the form with known values. I do not know the correct syntax.
I am looking for a correct syntax for the lines between comment lines:

function set_mailchimp_values() {
// Is that possible?
$values = array( field nameA, type='text', value = 'VARIABLE1',
field nameB, type='dropdown', value = 'VARIABLE2',
etc.,
)
return $values;
// How do I set these values?
}
add_action( 'ava_mailchimp_contact_form_elements', 'set_mailchimp_values' );

Plan B
Because I do not know how to set the values with Action / Filter, I chose the described variant. Hidden form means “display: none;”

Please help me to realize Plan A.
Günter
