I just installed the standalone plugin. I’m now seeing an issue with the navigation arrows, on all browsers. Here is a screenshot.

May 7, 2017 at 3:18 pm in reply to: LayerSlider (PAID) – Requesting an add to Enfold's online documentation #789095Exactly what I’m facing Guenni007. It will be interesting to see how this turns out. I understand that Enfold may get more sales by advertising LayerSlider as being included. However, from what I’m seeing//hearing, two things often happen. People skip the embedded LayerSlider altogether or they quickly jump to the PAID version in order to get security/functionality updates and access to premium templates.
In my opinion, Enfold should allow everyone (PAID and NON-PAID) to update as they wish. If we need to click a disclaimer box, I have absolutely no problem doing that.
For the PAID LayerSlider Users: We will want the latest updates at all times, except in very rare situations and we also have the LayerSlider support team to assist further.
For the NON-PAID (Embedded) LayerSlider Users: Issue a disclaimer to update at your own risk, saying the current supported embedded version is “x”.
ULTIMATE: Just unleash LayerSlider updates to ALL, as they are released by LayerSlider. I can’t imagine the issues would be anywhere close to the number of support topics opened weekly, re: LayerSlider.
May 7, 2017 at 2:46 pm in reply to: LayerSlider (PAID) – Requesting an add to Enfold's online documentation #789091From LayerSlider:
“Normally you should be able to update the plugin the same way with the auto-update feature, more information can be found on it in the documentation: https://support.kreaturamedia.com/…/documentation.html…
However there are some cases when the theme authors change/edit the bundled version of the plugin, removing the activation/update systems for example. In this case you will need to reinstall the plugin manually first. You can also find installation instructions in the documentation. Please note that your sliders are stored in the database so they won’t be deleted.”

I’ve included admin credentials for you to check it out for yourself.
May 6, 2017 at 5:53 pm in reply to: LayerSlider (PAID) – Requesting an add to Enfold's online documentation #788870Yes, but the updates never get pulled in that way. At least I’ve never been able to get them to. LayerSlider is Activated. Going to LayerSlider > Check for updates, routes us back to the root of the WP Dashboard. Clicking “Check for updates” there, does nothing. The WP Dashboard shows there is 1 plugin update available, which is related to another LayerSlider issue that’s well documented in the support forum.
This needs to be written up. If WP pros are struggling with this, just imagine how the non-Pros struggle.
Hello. I just went ahead and added the changes to the file. Good to go, thank you!
Good to close. Bad CSS on my part. : P
Hold tight. I believe the Enfold Facebook group found the issue.
Here is a supporting image. What’s weird is Chrome inspector is not showing anything for the “White text”.
I’ve gone through all my CSS and all the syntax of my last 3 posts. I can’t find any issues and all other posts/pages are displaying correctly. At a loss.
Can’t do any more work, as all new pages/posts are not formatting correctly.
Thanks. Do these errors shown have a negative impact or is just cosmetic? If it’s the latter, maybe I’ll just wait for a theme update.
Still seeing it. If you log in and click on the actual slide configurations, you’ll see the error.
Good to go, thank you!
Thanks, no change. Look at this fix that worked for another site. I tried it on this site and had no change. Curious how the answers are so far apart, but I do understand there is usually more than one way to solve an issue.
Good to go. I’m not sure what I did differently, but I started over and now the Template Store icon showed.
Thank you!
Thanks. Yep, clear on all that. What I can’t figure out is how to get to the LS premium templates, unless their plugin is installed.
To me, you should be able to log into the LS website and pull down the templates. Maybe I’m just missing something.
Good to go, thank you!
Hello. Are they going into SPAM on your side or on the website visitor’s side? If they are hitting the SPAM folders on your visitor’s side, please see this article.
If it’s on your side, you may need to work with your email administrator or depending on your email application, you can create filters. You can Google “wordpress form going to spam” and go from there.
Here you go. The link is an affiliate link. Happy to help you get started with it.
To make one of the columns longer, edit the margin settings for that column, by increasing the left and right margin values.
As for the hover styling, I’ll let the Enfold crew earn their money there. While I could help you with it, using manual CSS entries, I use a third party CSS tool that makes what you’re trying to do…stupid easy. Happy to share it.
Hello. Looks like you may have some bad syntax somewhere. If you added anything manually, to say the Functions.php, Style.css or to the Quick CSS area of Enfold, please check your syntax.
Hello. Those are created by using the Grid Row element. Drop that element into your page and create 3 columns. Add your text and background colors to each column.
Thank you for the excellent support. Good to go!
Okay to close. Thanks!
Okay to close.
Feel free to close. Thanks.
The issue went away and then just came back. If it looks okay on your end, perhaps it’s a caching issue somewhere along the line.
