I couldn’t see what versions of the theme you are using, latest version is 3.1.3, please make sure you are using the latest version. http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

What size image are you selecting when uploading the image? You get a choice when you add–>upload in the right hand side of the screen.

I’ve never tried the plugin you are using, I think it might be better to do it manually. Please refer to the documentation here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/?s=child+theme
You can download a ready made child theme here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/downloads/
Any file you have in your child theme will override the one in the parent theme.

I’m not sure I understand, have you made changes with the intention of showing a logo on all pages except the home page and that is not working? If so, what changes have you made? If not, please explain a bit further so that we can understand the problem a bit better.

I’d like to see if it’s the same problem as the other installation I saw the similar problem. We still don’t know what the cause of the problem is on the other one so seeing one more might lead us closer to the solution. If you don’t want to share login details it’s going to be hard to give you any help.
