That is the default behaviour of the Advanced Layer Builder for posts. You can select yourself where you want for instance the share buttons by dragging the Social Share Button element to the post.

I don’t think it would make any difference what software you are using if it looks fine before you upload it. What resolution are you selecting in the slider option under Slideshow Image Size?

You can’t set a slider as a background, only images and videos. Could you try to explain a bit further what you are trying to achieve please?

With the blog posts element you select what categories you want to display, so all blog posts from that category will be displayed. If you want to include it in the regular categories/tag page we can help you out with that once you get there.

I couldn’t see what versions of the theme you are using, latest version is 3.1.3, please make sure you are using the latest version. http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
