You can find the .htaccess file in the root folder, the same folder as wp-config.php etc is located.

The code Elliott posted looks like it should work and I can see that you added the ID ‘test’ to the element but I can’t see any custom CSS being applied. Could you provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can check it out? You can post it here as a private reply.

Some of the ID’s for the Color Sections were wrong, please have a look now as I’ve changed them. Be sure to refresh or restart your browser for the changes to take effect.

I guess it’s possible that the deleted plugin could cause the problem, could you check your plugin folder just to be sure? If you’re willing to do it, maybe a fresh install would do the trick? If not, please post admin login here as a private reply and we’ll have a look at it.

Ok, I totally understand. I was very hesitant too but my 5 year old Macbook is running just fine on 10.10, but you don’t have to update your OSX just to have the latests version of Safari, right?

About your problem, we need to verify what’s causing your problem and since I can’t reproduce it on Safari 8 I would like to see if it goes away for you as well on versions above 8. I’ll ask the rest of the team if they can reproduce it as well on their versions of Safari.

Hey Tobias-B-Conrad!

The ‘eliminate render blocking…’ part is caused by Javascript and CSS being loaded before the content, and it’s there for a good reason, the page would not look the same without it.

Hi!

If the changes you made were in your child theme’s header.php then they should not have been overwritten. The easiest way to add custom CSS in Enfold though would be to paste it the in the Quick CSS box in theme options.

Hi Sam!

Do you have a link for the page in question please? If you want to remove plugin specific CSS then you can have a look in the folder of the plugin (wp-content/plugins/name-of-your-plugin) and find the stylesheet(s) and edit out the unwanted entries from there.
