I had a look at your site but I can’t see anything obviously wrong with it except that the logo looks pretty small on small window sizes. Could you try to explain your problem a bit further and maybe provide us with a screenshot of it as well?

You don’t have to change anything in the database, all you have to do is upload the pictures to your site and edit the URLs of images in the slider accordingly.

You didn’t have any comments for the post in question so I added one and it’s showing as expected, it also seems like you have disabled comments, that’s why the option for commenting is not showing. You can change your settings under Settings–>Discussion.
