No it’s bundled with the theme so there is no need for that, I had a look at the layer slider on your front page and it working fine on my end. Could you link to the page where you are having problem please? Also, you are using a caching plugin which is not the best idea when testing, please disable all plugins while testing to be sure none of them are causing a conflict.

Could you try to update manually via FTP instead? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/. Latest version is 3.2.3.

Ok, well we can’t really find out which one it is then unless you duplicate the site to a test server or something like that. Would you be able to do that? Our support for third party plugins is limited and the theme won’t be able to be fully compatible with all plugins out there.

Did you use the Blog Posts element? If so you should be able to select Grid layout under the Blog Style option.

Not sure if you mean the posts themselves or the page where the feed shows? If you mean the feed then it’s easily customisable by using the Blog Posts element. The posts are also possible to customise using the ALB.

It would take a lot of CSS to make that look happen, I think it might be easier if you copy header.php to your child theme and insert the content you want just above the opening body tag. http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/create-a-child-theme/
