Hey,
Please try to update the theme manually via FTP if it should not work from the backend: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/.
Regards,
RikardHey icebox10,
I couldn’t see that issue on my end using iphone4/chrome. In what device/browser are you seeing that?
Thanks,
RikardHey avidsram,
I’m not sure what your previous developers has done wrong but Enfold should be editable to more or less any design out of the box. If you want to give it another go we recommend hiring though Codeable.
Regards,
RikardHey lolo13,
If it’s for SEO I would advice against you using h1 elements:
Many of the carousels I looked at were built with jQuery, AJAX or HTML5. In most cases, the headings in the slider were wrapped in an h1 tag. Basic SEO best practices state that there should only be one h1 tag per page, and it should appear before any other heading tag. The problem with using h1 or any heading tag in the carousel is that every time the slide changes, the h1 tag changes. A page with five slides in the carousel will have 5 h1 tags, which greatly devalues the keyword relevance.

Best regards,
RikardHey,
I’m not sure why that is happening but the “error” you are getting is the way it’s supposed to work. When you save a post with the ALB you will not get the regular post elements like sharing, post meta, excerpt ect. You will have to add all those elements manually to the post. You can get round this though by using the default editor and adding builder elements with the Magic Wand tool instead: http://imgur.com/GReRtrs – last icon the top row.

RikardHi Darran,
I haven’t tried it myself but maybe this can help you out? http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/56284/limit-the-number-of-pages-created-by-the-paging
Regards,
RikardHi,
It looks like you have used the Layer Slider for the two sections down the page (train/plants), could you try using Color Sections for those instead to see if that helps?
Regards,
RikardHey Laurence,
Looks like that should work, could you please send us a temporary admin login so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

RikardHey Nick,
Great, glad it helped out. Please let us know if you should need any further help on the topic.

RikardHey,
I’m not sure what you mean by that, what kind of changes do you want to make? Please post screenshots to highlight your intentions if possible, you can upload them to for instance imgur.com or a public dropbox folder and then link to them here.
Regards,
RikardHey Felix,
Did you try @Guenni007s suggestion? If you should need any more help then please link to the site in question so that we can have a closer look.
Cheers!
RikardHey,
Thanks, those details worked. Please not that everyone can see the details if you don’t post them in the Private Content area of your reply. Not sure what you were trying to do with the logo though, the one you had uploaded was 80×80 pixels, I added the image you had down the page and it’s displaying as expected.
Thanks,
RikardHey,
Glad you got it fixed, please let us know if you should need any more help on the topic.

Yes that is correct, you can find the page id by right clicking the page and select to inspect it. At the top of the code you will see the body tag and within its classes you will find the page id class, something like page-id-367. You can also see it in the URL of the page when you are editing it on the backend.

Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold–>General Styling:
.single_toggle p.toggler { font-weight:700 !important; color:red !important; background:#ddd !important; }Regards,
RikardHey Chandra,
Please active debug mode: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/, you can then copy the shortcode for the element you want to put in the tab to see if that works out for you.
Best regards,
RikardHi,
Not sure if you need any more help on the topic? Please let us know if you should.

RikardHi JC,
Yes it tends to be, usually something has gone wrong when updating so overwriting the files corrects it :-)

OUR SERVICES is displaying in white on my end, I’m guessing you managed to get it fixed?

RikardOctober 5, 2015 at 5:04 am in reply to: How to update theme and not lose custom sidebar and widgets #513453Hi,
Yes, the custom sidebars should be there after updating and they should also still be there on pages. If you want to make sure you might want to clone your site and try doing the update locally or on a test site first to make sure you don’t get any unpleasant surprises.
As far as I know that is the only thing that will require any actions from your side.
