Hi Brian,

Sorry for the late answer, that should be possible yes. You could try adding a Color Section and setting a video background for it for example.

I’m not sure and it’s very difficult to say. Maybe someone else did some changes? You can use a plugin like Yoast SEO to control what is being displayed in SERPs: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/

Adding it to your child theme’s function.php is the same as adding it to the parent. Maybe you host has a limit on the file size, I would try contacting them to see if that is the case?
