Ok, the change in colour fortunately has nothing to do with the builder, even though you’ve set the colour there. I’m not sure why it’s happening but I think I think it’s because you’ve wrapped the text in a strong tag and that causes the setting not to apply. Please try the following CSS in Quick CSS and your text should be white after your changes:

.home #av_section_5 h1.av-special-heading-tag strong {
color:white !important;
}

Hi Rutger,

If you are getting a server error then your hosting provider should at least be able to tell you why you are getting it. I would try to contact them again and ask them to tell you why it’s happening, I don’t think our theme is causing an issue like that to be honest. Hey Welmoed,

That is correct, when using the builder for posts is will act like a page instead and you will have to add all the “regular” items manually or via the builder. You can also switch to the default editor when you save, that should bring in the regular items as well.

It’s totally up to you which method you use for creating your posts, the big advantage by using the builder is that you have a lot more creativity available to you but also a bit more work.
