Hey clbdcnpafe,
Please check your menu under Appearance in the WordPress menu.
Best regards,
RikardHey TFC539,
What happens if you temporarily deactivate all plugins and/or custom code you might have added?
Best regards,
RikardHey rixi,
Did you try changing the front page to the imported page in the theme options?
Best regards,
RikardHey Paloma,
Your theme settings should stay the same, but you should export and save them locally from Enfold->Import/Export in case you should need them at some point.
The update to 7.1.2 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or upload the theme as if it was new under Appearance->Themes->Add New Theme.
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

RikardHey Stefan,
Could you post a link to where we can see the element in question please?

RikardOctober 2, 2025 at 5:58 pm in reply to: zweite Sprache wird wiederholt automatisch überschrieben! #1489778Hi,
Thanks for the clarification. There’s nothing in the theme which would make random changes to the content on your site, so I don’t think that this is theme related. Does the same thing happen if copy all the content to a different page? If you want to see the Layout Builder content in order to copy it, then you can activate debug mode under Enfold->Layout Builder->Show Advanced Options.
Best regards,
RikardHey martienev1,
Thanks for the login details. Click on the video that you have already added in the element options, then you will see Fallback Images option in the Content tab.

RikardHi,

If you are seeing changes in revisions, then it’s likely due to someone actually making those changes. Are you the only one with access to changing content? For now, I would suggest that you try restoring the revision which is correct.

I’m not sure that I fully understand the problem that you are having, but adding plugins is core WordPress functionality, it’s not theme specific.

RikardHey Celeste,
I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (7.1.2) to see if that helps please? RikardHey Kern,
Thanks for reaching out to us. We cannot say if you will have problems after updating to the latest version, since we don’t know what has been added to your child theme. I would suggest that you update the parent first of all, then try to activate the child after to see what happens.

RikardSeptember 26, 2025 at 9:41 am in reply to: Critical Error on Website Caused by the Child Theme Plugin #1489592Hi,
There are no updates to the child theme that you can download from our site, it’s an empty template.
Best regards,
RikardHey Eric,
I’m not sure I understand what you mean, please try to explain what you are looking to a bit further.

RikardSeptember 25, 2025 at 8:59 am in reply to: Critical Error on Website Caused by the Child Theme Plugin #1489556Hi,
Thanks for the update. A child theme is a theme, not a plugin. A child theme is used to override the parent for various reasons, it’s WordPress standard and not specific to Enfold. And yes, that is recommended if you want to override the parent, otherwise you will lose your customisations during updates.
You can start off by activating the parent theme, then download the current child theme to your local machine. Then you can install a clean child theme and add your customisations back one by one to see when the problems starts.
Best regards,
RikardHi,

RikardHi,
Thank for that, but I’m not sure I understand what you mean by your last post. I’m asking for a error log, not a access log. You should be able to get the error log from your hosting provider user interface, or via their support.
Best regards,
RikardSeptember 24, 2025 at 7:28 pm in reply to: Critical Error on Website Caused by the Child Theme Plugin #1489535Hey Dana2225,
We only provide the parent theme and empty child theme templates, what you add to the child is up to you. Please try to remove all your customisation from the child (via FTP if you cannot access the site), then add them back one by one to see what is causing the problem.
Best regards,
RikardHi,
Thanks for the update. Do you have a full server error log? If so, then please share it with us.
