Also, Google PSI doesn’t actually measure speed on your site. You should using Pingdom or GTMetrics for that.

If you should need help speeding your site up then I can recommend contacting a service like SteadyWP.

Thanks for the feedback. You have some special content on the front page, and I think that is causing a conflict of some sort. If you want to experiment with it a bit, without having to edit your actual home page, then you can enable debug mode in order to see builder shortcodes: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/, you can then copy all the shortcode from your front page to a new page.

If you haven’t actually added anything to style.css or functions.php then you don’t have to run a child theme, but it’s handy to have available in case you should need to do that at some point.

As for your problem, please try to update to the latest version of the theme to see if that helps: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
