We have a new feature in the latest version of theme where you can use a page layout as your footer, did you try that out? I’m not sure exactly what you mean by header features, please try to explain a bit further.

Could you try to delete the theme folder from your local installation and replace it with a fresh copy from your Themeforest account to see if that helps please?

Yes, of course, if we didn’t change any code then we wouldn’t update the theme :-)
What could be causing it specifically I can’t say unfortunately. But the cURL error message is a server setting and nothing we can control in the theme code.

It looks like you are using the boxed layout for your site? If you want the header and footer to stretch full width then you will need to have the stretched layout instead. You can set that under Enfold->General Layout.

That code should not be necessary, so you can safely remove it. If you want to activate the custom CSS class field then you can refer to this: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/turn-on-custom-css-field-for-all-alb-elements/

Sorry for the problems. Could you try to completely remove the theme folder from the server and then re-upload a fresh copy via FTP to see if that helps please?
