Hello and thank you, the breadcrumbs seemed to have fixed the issue, although the post is being repeated before the category tag and then again after which is new and not sure why that is happening.
As for the width, this did not seem to make a difference. Is this not the same command that the new dimensions setting panel in the enfold options is supposed to address?
Just wondering if there was some other setting that I was overlooking or any other reason why the site would not stretch out to the full potential width.
Actually, now that I am playing with it, it seems as if changing the pixel value in percentages makes a difference and allows the content to expand and fill a larger portion of the actual screen but if I try to restrict it with a defined pixel value then it reverts back to the thinner layout that I am trying to avoid.
The problem with a pixel percentage is that it works on a larger screen but then on a 13 inch monitor (for example) it shrinks the visible section down even further.
I will keep playing with it but any other suggestions would definitely be appreciated.
Hello Ismael.
The sidebars are now showing up but there is still something that looks off. It is as if t he content area is not stretching out as wide as it should be.
This is mostly on the blog posts like this one for instance.
The bread crumbs are sticking out past the left margin and I feel like I am losing some screen real estate as compared to before the recent update.
I have also created this page, where you can get in and play around with the page itself. As you can see, the page is just really scrunched together and I am not sure which setting is responsible for this as the edits I make in the Enfold control panel do not seem to have an effect on the site.
P.s. the log in credentials are in the private section of my initial support request at the top of this string of posts.
September 29, 2014 at 11:10 pm in reply to: Reducing padding on the bottom of a color section to add custom menu #326858That seemed to work. Let me know if you think of a better way to accomplish the same thing, otherwise no need to respond.
Thanks,
September 29, 2014 at 11:03 pm in reply to: Reducing padding on the bottom of a color section to add custom menu #326853I think I may have come up with a solution but I am not sure if it will affect the other color elements on the website.
I changed the min-height from 100px to 100% for the color section. Here is the code I put in the easy CSS
.avia-section { min-height: 100%; !important; }
August 7, 2014 at 9:15 pm in reply to: Images not displaying on certain articles after theme update #301349Also, I tried replacing the affected images with new ones and it is doing the same thing to the new images!
August 7, 2014 at 8:55 pm in reply to: Images not displaying on certain articles after theme update #301340I have not done anything to the image size. It is not a plugin issue as the image does not even show up in the admin section under featured image on the add post section. These images are set by the theme themselves as I have uploaded them into the featured image section. So I do not control the display size of the image.
It was all working fine before I updated the theme.

July 8, 2014 at 7:23 pm in reply to: Urgent, please, help! Dynamic content elements are not showing up on my site. #288645Never mind. It looks like I made a mistake when uploading the file. I reloaded it and it seems to be working now on the dev site. I am going to let that simmer for a sec and then make the transfer to the live site.
I will let you know if anything else comes up.
Thanks for the help! Much appreciated.
July 8, 2014 at 7:12 pm in reply to: Urgent, please, help! Dynamic content elements are not showing up on my site. #288643That did not work. I uploaded that revised file to the live site and then turned on the forums and it did the same thing. It keeps hiding the top level dynamic content. The magazine elements stay there and the rest of the site seems to work fine but the accordions at the top of the page do not work.
The revised file should be uploaded to the dummy site you have been working on.

Dynamic content elements are not showing up on my site. #287778Just kidding. It is now blocking the accordion sliders as well. Not sure what is happening but it is the same thing as before. Logged in it works fine, but when the user is logged out they lose those features.

July 3, 2014 at 11:58 pm in reply to: Urgent, please, help! Dynamic content elements are not showing up on my site. #286945I have also gone and turned the forums off on my website and now everything seems to be working fine which points again to this being a bbPress conflict specifically with the theme.
So weird since the theme and bbPress worked o well together before.

Dynamic content elements are not showing up on my site. #286930So I have narrowed it down. It is a plugin conflict. bbPress and Gravity Forms are fighting it out on the website and for some reason neither of them wants to play nice with the other.
Have you had any issues with this. I literally have turned all of the other plugins off on another staging site and they both work fine by themselves, but when I turn them on together it breaks those dynamic sections.
Looks like I am off to another support forum!
Thanks for the help and please let me know if you think of anything else that might help.
July 3, 2014 at 5:51 pm in reply to: Urgent, please, help! Dynamic content elements are not showing up on my site. #286772Yes, I changed the home page to show case more of our content. I turned off all the plugins on the dev site. So it looks like I have to go in and find which of the plugins is causing the conflict.
You will note, at least I did, that the masonry element on the home page will not load more elements. It pretends like it is going to and then stops.
I am assuming this is being caused by the same plugin that is blocking the rest of the site? Could it still be a caching issue? This is way above my pay grade.
July 3, 2014 at 2:08 pm in reply to: Urgent, please, help! Dynamic content elements are not showing up on my site. #286672I will contact Media Temple but I am seeing the same thing on the dev site as well as the live site. I am going to turn off all the plug-ins on the dev site and start going through them one by one again. It is just hard because of some of the caching issues.
I paused CloudFlare but MT has Varnish installed and uses some other heavy caching resources so I am not always sure whether the changes take effect.
I would appreciate any help or ideas you might be able to come up with.
Thanks,
June 3, 2014 at 8:52 pm in reply to: Accordion slider on mobile device – Can I increase height? #274180Thanks for the response. Do you think this is something that a developer would have a problem attacking? Is this a complicated customization?
Thanks so much for your awesome support! I have a write up about this theme coming soon. I will share a link when it is completed.

This reply has been marked as private.Thank you sir. We try to make sure it is a content focused site for sure but we are also trying to turn it into a product.
Do you guys have any recommended developers that might be interested in an ongoing relationship?
May 19, 2014 at 8:43 am in reply to: Replacing a portion of text with an image inside of a heading. #266663Something is going wrong here. I have uploaded a screen shot of it showing up in the Avia builder as well as the way the code is in the header box and something is going wrong inbetween this point and how it is displayed. Not sure what is going on.
If you click the link in the picture it pulls up the lightbox and shows you the R – just does not display in line???
May 19, 2014 at 1:08 am in reply to: Replacing a portion of text with an image inside of a heading. #266556It is there. Below is the link to the image and when you click where the image should be the light box pops up and shows you the image. Not sure what is going on.

I have submitted my site here before but I have updated it with many of the new magazine post features and the accordion slider. We are doing 50-80K unique views a month right now and hope to be at about a million uniques a month by the end of the year.
I would be interested in any feedback from the regulars on here. I love Enfold and it has allowed me to grow my website as if I had hired my own development team. Rock on.
May 18, 2014 at 9:06 pm in reply to: Making accordion slider blog headings bold and slightly larger #266437I would however like to limit the preview text in the excerpt to only show the first two lines of text or so. Maybe 140 characters??? Looking for that in the code but can’t seem to find where it is limiting the excerpt size.
May 18, 2014 at 9:03 pm in reply to: Making accordion slider blog headings bold and slightly larger #266436Nevermind! I figured it out.
#top .aviaccordion-title { font-size: 25px; font-weight: bold; text-transform: none; }
May 18, 2014 at 10:41 am in reply to: Making accordion slider blog headings bold and slightly larger #266258I tried adding this text to the custom CSS and it does not seem to work.
.aviaccordion-title { text-transform: none; font-size: 18; font-weight: bold; }
April 28, 2014 at 9:01 pm in reply to: The icons in the navigation drop-down menu are not lining up #257311There was a missing “>” at the end of one of the link elements. I must have copied and pasted it wrong like a retard.
Thanks and sorry for wasting your time.
