Yes, thanks very much for the assistance. Best wishes!
Hi Ismael,
I appreciate you helping me with this issue. It turned out to be a security setting with our GoDaddy Managed WordPress hosting. We have never had any issues with our iconfonts at all for the last few years we’ve used GoDaddy Managed WordPress hosting. They recently moved our hosting to new servers, and that’s when the problem started happening.
I’m sharing the note from GoDaddy support, in case anyone else has a similar problem with their iconfonts:
Thank you for contacting Support and for your patience while we investigated this.
Our Engineering team has been working and had discovered what was the issue, they have recommended to reimport now the icons and this time should not be removed.
The issue was caused due to security settings in our hosting, these settings do not allow php executions on specific folders such as wp-content/uploads however, our engineering team has reviewed these and has done some changes to allow them to not be removed or changed.
Please, let us know if after the reimport, you have any issues so we can review further.

Hi Ismael,
Thank you for doing this test, and I’m able to see them on the test page. I will let you know if they are still visible in a day or two.
I added my icons with the SVG Iconset and Iconfont Manager in the Import / Export section of the Theme Options. They are still listed there, but are no longer visible in the icons accessible through the page builder or on the front end of the website.
This is the problem I can’t solve. When I first import the icons, you can find them with the other icon sets in the page builder and they are visible on the front end of the website where I have placed them. But this only lasts a day or two. The last time I posted here on February 6, everything worked because I had just imported the font icons again. But a day or two later, the links to them are broken so they don’t show up in the page builder or on the pages of the site where I placed them.
Have you ever seen anything like this before? Thank you for the help.
Hi Ismael,
Thank you for the quick response. Each time I reupload the icon fonts again, I first start by deleting them from the SVG Iconset and Iconfont Manager in the Theme Options, as well as deleting the zip files from the media library. After they’re deleted from both places, I begin uploading them again.
I performed this deletion and reuploaded all the icons for all three websites yesterday, which immediately fixed all instances of the icons throughout the websites. I have done this over a dozen times, though, over the last few weeks.
The main issue is whether that repair will last more than a day or two – and it never does. After I fix the icons by deleting and reimporting them, I don’t do anything else to the website – but within a day or two, the links to the icons get broken somehow. The only explanation I can think of would be some kind of automated maintenance script that the web host runs that is reverting our database or overwriting the changes I’m making. I have no idea why that would be happening, but I don’t know what else could keep causing this to happen.
I have not tried performing a search and replace in the database yet.
I appreciate you offering your thoughts on this. If you come across anyone else with a similar problem and/or a solution, please let me know.
September 28, 2022 at 8:00 pm in reply to: ALB for any post type (LearnDash). Spacebar doesn't work #1366786Hello. I’m just sharing my similar experience for anyone else having an issue where the spacebar quits working in certain ALB content elements. I also traced the problem to the same plugin mentioned above. Once the plugin is disabled, the spacebar works again.

May 5, 2022 at 7:43 pm in reply to: Column Link won't work if a manual link is entered and it contains page anchor #1350674Hello Rikard. Thank you for checking into this. I have upgraded to the latest version of Enfold and cleared the cache. In my situation, I had icon boxes in the columns I was trying to add the column links to, so to troubleshoot, I removed the icon boxes from the columns and tested. The links still did not work.
Next, I changed the column link (http://mysite/mypage/#anchor) by removing the anchor (#anchor). The column link works as soon as the #anchor is removed. However, I have no way of linking to a page anchor if this is the case – and I need to be able to link to a page anchor.
If you’re able to let me know if there is a fix for this, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

promosapienHello Rikard. I can confirm that the downgrade to WordPress 5.5.3 solved the issue. The mobile menu is appearing again. Thank you very much for the prompt reply and the help in resolving this issue.
Hi Victoria. Thanks for the quick reply. I disabled caching and minification from the WP Optimize plugin dashboard. I also purged the cache, then cleared cached images and files from Chrome. I visited the site again, but I’m still not seeing the mobile menu. This is a new problem, by the way. When I built the site a few months ago, the mobile menu worked fine. I’m using Enfold 4.7.6.3 right now. Any other suggestions? Thank you.
You can close this thread. I came up with a solution. Thanks.
Hello Victoria,
Thank you for pointing me to that thread. I tried each method mentioned in it, and have had no luck.
I tried creating a modified portfolio.php in the child theme folder and modifying the functions.php in the child theme folder, as suggested by Andreas (who said he had success with this method). It did not work for me.
When I couldn’t get that to work, I removed the code from the functions.php in the child theme folder that pointed to the copy of the portfolio.php in the child theme folder. I also deleted the portfolio.php and its directory from within the child theme folder.
I left the standard “do shortcode in excerpt” code in the functions file, then followed Ismael’s instructions for editing the portfolio.php in the Enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/portfolio directory.
This didn’t work for me either. I am not sure what else I can try to achieve this.
Like I mentioned earlier, the portfolio contains real estate property listings. The client’s request is to display the text beneath the portfolio thumbnail image in three lines, with the property name field being on top, property address on the 2nd line, and the price on the third.
Example:
PROPERTY NAME
Property Address
PriceIf I had the option (which I don’t) I would just use the title field on each portfolio entry for only the property name. I can’t do that, though, because the full address needs to be used in the title of the property.
Is there anything else you can suggest?
Thank you.

July 19, 2019 at 2:10 am in reply to: Use first slides caption as permanent caption disables open image in lightbox #1120042I am having the same issue. In my case, I am not trying to open the images in a lightbox. I am trying to set links manually on each image in the slider. By selecting “Use first slide’s image as permanent caption,” it appears to disable the ability to click the slides.

Thank you so much Guenni007. Your tip was extremely helpful.

Discovered the caching problem was due to caching from my hosting plan with GoDaddy. Their managed WordPress hosting plans use page caching. For anyone else that might have this problem: From the WordPress dashboard, click the GoDaddy logo at the top of the page. When you click on it, one of the options is “Flush Cache.” Click it. Problem solved. Please mark this closed.
November 13, 2017 at 9:19 pm in reply to: Enfold 4.1.2 – Google map not working with wordpress 4.8.2 after upgrade #876288Thanks for posting this. I was having this problem, also. For others with this issue, THIS is the fix. There was a time, many Enfold versions ago, when there were Google API issues with the map on the contact page. Someone came up with a workaround at that time that involved adding some code (and your Google API key for the map) to the child theme functions.php file. I had forgotten about it, and the old API key on that functions.php file was causing the problem. I deleted the workaround code from the child theme functions.php and all is well now. With newer versions of Enfold, the API key created via the Google Developers Console should be entered in the Enfold Theme Options area (under Google Services) of the WP dashboard.

Hi Victoria,
Thank you for your help. I’m sorry. The 404 was my fault. After posting my question on the forum, I returned to the page later, edited it, then changed the name of it (I forgot I needed to keep it the same for you). I just created a test page and added a full screen easy slider to it. It is working fine now. Was the problem I was having due to the extra symbol in the menu link?
Thanks again!
Thanks so much for posting this fix. Made my day a lot easier.
After a frustrating morning of trying to solve this, your post fixed the maps issue. Thanks so much for taking the time to post the solution. This helped me a ton. Best wishes!
Disregard this. Solution found. I had mistakenly uploaded the wrong wp-config.php file, which was configured to access the wrong SQL database.
I should also add that I used FTP to temporarily rename the enfold and enfold-child folders to force WP to use another theme, and this didn’t work, either.
May 18, 2016 at 4:52 pm in reply to: Social Share Buttons causing footer and socket to display improperly #634648Hello Yigit,
Thank you for taking the time to look at the site. I see that you added the share buttons to the page successfully. I hadn’t tried wrapping them in a color section. I think I just put them in a single column. I did some troubleshooting yesterday and found that the color section directly above where I was adding the social share buttons was the source of the problem. The combination of that color section, along with my trying to put social share buttons in a column beneath it would cause the footer and socket content to move to the left.
I kept trying to check my custom css styling for the text inside that problematic color section and couldn’t get anything to work. I ultimately ended up causing a database connection error, which I had to fix before finally giving up on trying to add the sharing buttons.
Thanks again, and I appreciate the kind words on the website. I have used all kinds of WordPress themes in the last five years and Enfold is far and away the best of them all. It is really excellent work. Thanks to you for making such a great product.
Best regards,
promosapien
Hello. You can close this ticket. I still don’t know what was causing this problem, but I managed to restore the page from a backup and deleted part of the page content that I think was causing the error. Thanks.
