UPDATE:
Hi Ismael – when I sign-out or view the page in incognito, my page matches the image you sent. However, I am trying to control the entire grid-row – and the changes provided just affect the text portion of the gridrow element. (For example, if you use margin-top:100px instead of 50px, you will see just the text moves down. I am trying to move the entire row – including the background down on the page.I have tried inserting the following above the gridrow to attempt to move it down and have not had any success:
- whitespace element
- container element with whitespace
- gridrow element with a single cell with whitespace
Nothing seems to shift the entire gridrow element (including the background) down.
Any thoughts?
Thank you!

ORIGINAL: Hi Ismael,That’s perfect! Did you update your code or do you see something different in my code? I tried clearing cache and hard-reload and still see the same in Chrome and Firefox.
Thank you!

Hi Ismael,
Thank you so much for your help. Unfortunately, I tried that before reaching out and didn’t have any luck. I tried again because it was your recommendation and have confirmed it didn’t fix the issue.I updated it to show a 100px margin t show the issue more easily. I would like the graphic to start at the top. You can see it here: http://www.tinfinitydesign.com/demo/jmo/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/kriesi.png

Also – for anyone finding this and in need of help – you can enable PHP ZipArchive on GoDaddy using the directions here: https://www.godaddy.com/community/GoDaddy-Web-Hosting/ZipArchive-need-to-be-enable/td-p/7942
February 15, 2020 at 1:12 am in reply to: Iconfont Manager Error "Couldn’t add the font because the server didn’t respond" #1184637Hi Victoria – thank you so much for your help! I managed to get PHP ZipArchive enabled on the server. However, now I am facing a different issue… the font pack in installed with a single, Spotify logo. I have updated functions.php of the child theme to reference it, however it is always showing up as the wrong icon (a pencil).
Any ideas for how to fix this? (I’ve pasted images of the fontello unicode and the updates I made to functions php to hook in the new icon in the private section, below).
Thanks!

Hi Basilis,
Thanks for the response. I appreciate you taking the time to help me troubleshoot this issue.
Unfortunately, I don’t follow what you mean. There is a full screen slider with no anchor, then the color section has the anchor I want (tour).
If I am at the main site, http://www.mainsite.com/welcome and I click the ‘tour’ menu item, the url changes to http://www.mainsite.com/welcome/#tour and the page scrolls down to the correct section – and does not scroll back up to the full screen slider.
If I hit the landing page, and then click the button, I am redirected to http://www.mainsite.com/welcome/#tour… the initial click brings me to the right part of the page, but then it scrolls up.
Can you try to explain it a different way so I know what I am missing?
Thanks!

JohnSeptember 12, 2018 at 1:13 am in reply to: Control Scaling and/or Image Size/Position in Color Section + Full Screen Slider #1008657Hi Ismael,
Thank you for investigating the issue. I understand that this issue cannot be remedied on the fullscreen slider. I used Photoshop to update the image to get the aspect ratio I need for the image in the fullscreen slider.
The image I am still having trouble with is in a color-section. If you use the link in the private section of this post, and select ‘Bio’, you will be taken to the bio. I am looking to make the change to the image directly above this section (the woman with the tambourine).
When I replace the color section with the full-width easy slider as you suggested, I am able to get the entire image to appear – but I lose the parallax effect.
I would like to have that entire image display – with a parallax effect when the bio section slides up over it. Is there a way to get a color section to display the entire image as the background, while maintaining the parallax effect?
Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you again for the outstanding support you guys provide for users.
JohnSeptember 9, 2018 at 2:10 am in reply to: Control Scaling and/or Image Size/Position in Color Section + Full Screen Slider #1007519Update: I have been playing with the issue all afternoon trying to figure it out… and I think I have at least part of the solution.
In the case of the fullscreen slider, I have noticed that no matter how I move and adjust the image (mocked up in Photoshop), I cannot accomplish what I am trying to do. There is not enough photo outside of my friend to resize the image the way she wants.
I believe the same holds true for the color section.. but with the color section, she is OK if people have to scroll down the page for it a little bit if allows for the full height. I have set the container height to 100% for the color section… but it’s not quite enough. Is there a way to set the container to a size greater than 100%? Maybe 130% or something?
Thank you so much for your continued support!
Thanks Basilis. That is definitely not what I see. Any idea what might be causing this discrepancy? I see the same thing on mac and pc – on Chrome and Firefox.
Thanks!
This is a website in progress, so I shared the link in the private content section.
Hi Dude,
Thank you for the help. It now pulls in any number of instagram photos I specify. :) However, the images are coming in different sizes. I am currently using the four column layout – and the outside images (columns 1 and 4) are slightly larger than the two middle images in each row. I can’t see anything in the css that would be making this happen.
Any insight?
Thanks!
JohnHi Ismael,
Thank you for the help. Upgrading fixed the issue immediately.
I have one follow-up question. Is there a way to get the Instagram widget to add more than 12 images – maybe something with a pagination?
Thank you again for your help!
JohnJune 26, 2015 at 12:34 am in reply to: Move Social Icons / Remove Lightbox for Members Element #464730Hi Elliot!
Thank you so much for the help! I really appreciate it. This is definitely better – but is there a way to get it to move to under the job description? I am comfortable modifying code if I need to.
Thanks so much!
June 23, 2015 at 10:46 pm in reply to: Move Social Icons / Remove Lightbox for Members Element #463680As a follow-up: I am trying to make the icons appear below the titles, and then remove the lightbox from the member image.
Thanks!
Hi Elliot,
Thank you for looking… the site is up now- but it is running very slow (it takes more than 1 minute to load at times). All of the plugins have been disabled with the exception of the slider- which seems to have helped somewhat.
GoDaddy insists the issue is the theme. They came to this conclusion by switching from Enfold to a default theme. When they do that, the page loads in just over half-a-second.
Are there any scripts or anything running that I could try tweaking to get the site to load faster?
Thanks,
John -
