Hi cmd,
The date only appears when you use posts but not on others.
If on posts I think it’s only logical because people would want to know when that post was published and on portfolio I think it shouldn’t appear because you showcase an item which date is irrelevant.
The code I gave should work since I have already tested it.
If it does not work on your site, please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,
NikkoHi Peta,
We’re glad to hear that :)
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!Best regards,
NikkoHey gharry79,
Are you using WP Mail SMTP plugin? the error doesn’t point to Enfold.
It might be a plugin causing it. Here’s a forum I can find with similar issue: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wordpress-5-5-deprecates-functionality/Best regards,
NikkoHey peta_moonstone,
Please add this CSS code in Quick CSS, located in Enfold > General Styling:
.single-portfolio #wrap_all > .avia-post-nav { display: none; }Best regards,
NikkoAugust 19, 2020 at 9:21 am in reply to: Error: public_html/sdwo-content/themes/enfold/template-builder.php on line 151 #1239067Hey GabrielSenn,
Can you try to switch to PHP version 7.3? and see if it helps.
Best regards,
NikkoHey ziggyzip,
I see, however Enfold 4.5.7 isn’t compatible with WordPress 5.5.
Please do the following:- Backup the site, install and activate a maintenance plugin and put your site under maintenance mode.
- Switch to default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty) and delete Enfold theme.
- Login to ThemeForest and download the latest version of Enfold (use the account you used to purchase Enfold).
- Unzip the file downloaded from Enfold which should generate a folder, find the file called enfold.zip.
- In your WordPress Dashboard, upload enfold.zip in the Themes (install and activate), if you’re using a child theme, activate the child theme instead.
- Check for any errors in your site, if none is found, remove the maintenance mode.

NikkoHey pierfrancesco alampi,
Thanks for contacting us!
Yes, there were some issues when WP 5.5 was released but it was resolved when we released an update for Enfold.
The version compatible for WP 5.5 is Enfold 4.7.6.2 & 4.7.6.3 :)Best regards,
NikkoHi ezimbron,
We’re glad to hear that :)
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!Best regards,
NikkoHi,
Please use a child theme and apply the tweaks/modification on the child theme instead of the parent theme (Enfold).
You can download and find instructions on how to use the child theme here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/child-theme/Best regards,
NikkoHi andiroo42,
The FTP still doesn’t work on my end, I get this even if I change settings:
Response: 530 Login authentication failed Error: Critical error: Could not connect to serverHowever, since there’s WP File Manager I was able to check on the Enfold theme and it was lacking many files.
I tried to upload a new enfold.zip but I always get an error before it finishes uploading.Checking on site health (link in private content), this issue appear:
The settings for post_max_size and upload_max_filesize are not the same, this could cause some problems when trying to upload files. Please fix this issue first, then upload Enfold again and it should work properly.
Best regards,
NikkoHi marcie73,
No, you can actually control when you edit the product page and go to Sidebar Settings then choose a widget area you want to show.
But you can’t control where it is placed.Best regards,
NikkoHi THP,
Thanks for pointing it out, I don’t think it’s intentional.
I’ll notify our devs on this issue/bug :)Best regards,
NikkoHi StaffCo,
Can you upgrade the account you gave to an administrator? so we can check other things.
I can see this error in the web console:Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 ()@michaelH thanks for helping out :)
Best regards,
NikkoHi mmangal,
I apologize for that, the account you gave worked however the account is not an administrator therefore we aren’t able to do anything.
Please upgrade the account to an administrator role.Best regards,
NikkoHi reliablecyber,
Thanks for giving us admin access. :)
It’s fixed now. I have checked your child theme and I don’t see any issues with it as the functions have been commented out.
However in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS (I found the code, I mentioned above which caused the issue).
If I switched theme, Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS is empty (that’s why it seems switching theme is the solution), I just switched back to the child theme and removed (commented out) the code I mentioned and it’s fixed.Best regards,
NikkoHi Jeff,
Thanks, I have disabled Combine JavaScript Files in SG Optimizer which fixed it on Microsoft Edge on my end.
Let us know if you need further assistance.Best regards,
NikkoHi andiroo42,
Thanks, I tried the FTP access you gave but I can’t seem to access it.
I also noticed you are using PHP 7.4.9, can you try to switch to 7.3? and see if it helps.Best regards,
NikkoHi marcie73,
Can you try to create a staging site for this? so we can’t affect your live site when we’re trying to troubleshoot it.
Here’s a tutorial on how to create a staging site: https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-staging-site/Best regards,
