April 2, 2025 at 8:03 am in reply to: Changes in child theme css file (style.css) do not show up #1480622
Hi Ismael, thanks for reaching out.
Unfortunately we cannot try and solve it right now, since it’s a website that should have been launched yesterday. Due to another software developer not getting his external part up and running, I need to make some last minute changes and launch the site today; it’s too busy right now since it’s a very important debt counseling website in the southern region of our country.
It’s fine to get things done for the time being with the ‘Clear Cache for Me’ plugin and/or editing through the css field in Enfold theme settings.
If necessary, I’ll get back to this ticket later again.
April 1, 2025 at 10:58 am in reply to: Changes in child theme css file (style.css) do not show up #1480570There’s only one Enfold and one Enfold Child theme
April 1, 2025 at 10:57 am in reply to: Changes in child theme css file (style.css) do not show up #1480569I know I can do that, mainly use it for quick changes and checks.
For more extensive changes and long term maintenance I prefer the external css file – which should not be a problem.
April 1, 2025 at 7:51 am in reply to: Changes in child theme css file (style.css) do not show up #1480562I’m not using Safari, I’m using Firefox Developer Edition. Tried Chrome and Brave too.
March 31, 2025 at 2:32 pm in reply to: Changes in child theme css file (style.css) do not show up #1480530I’ve tried the plugin ‘Clear Cache for Me’ (https://wordpress.org/plugins/clear-cache-for-widgets/). That seems to do the trick for now. Change I make to my style.css file through FTP and a code editor immediately show up at the front end.
But I really don’t know why I need an additional plugin.
Can you please shine a light on this?
March 31, 2025 at 2:22 pm in reply to: Changes in child theme css file (style.css) do not show up #1480527Oh no…
No I tried to edit the css and view it at the front end, and again it does not show up. Now the code shows two style.css files in use:
/style.css?ver=6.7.2
/style.css?ver=7.1Both with wrong/old content.
What’s going on?!?
Wow, that’s just fab!
Just tried it and it seems to do the job!Thank you very much, Mike; you just made my day! :-)
Please mark this as solved

Hi Mike, thanks for reaching out!
Unfortunately I can’t share links, since the website is behind a ‘coming soon page’. But here are 2 screenshots.
This is a page where the width should be approx. 960px: https://snipboard.io/KmrIfh.jpg
This is a page where the width of the content should be approx. 720px: https://snipboard.io/6mBX20.jpg But other elements, like featured image, may be title too, should be approx. 960px.
It’s a bit like you can see at the Dutch news site NOS:
This page has some grids and is wide: https://nos.nl/sport While this page has narrow text sections, and some wider image sections: https://nos.nl/artikel/2493312-de-wereldtitel-van-de-overmacht-het-seizoen-van-verstappen-in-vijf-momenten
But for now: my website needs to be ready and live tonight, so I’ll stick with a general width for the whole site.
If you can point me in some direction how to achieve what I want, I might give it a try in one of next weeks.
Cheers,
MarcOctober 6, 2023 at 9:17 am in reply to: How to reduce huge amount of images (and sizes) generated by Enfold? #1421588Hi Nikko, thanks for the quick reply and all the info; very much appreciated! :-)
Does adding the code remove existing thumbnails? Or do I need to run a separate plugin like Regenerate Thumbnails, or something?
Cheers,
MarcManually update the theme, now it all seems fine.
Thnx for the quick reply, support! ;-)
Can be marked as SOLVED.
Hi Ismael,
I’m not able to update the theme through the wp admin dashboard (because I can’t login).
Will try to do it with FTP, do you have a good manual somewhere about manually updating the theme?-

July 12, 2021 at 8:46 am in reply to: Saving didnt work! Please reload the page and try again #1309698Hi Rikard, I don’t have the problem anymore right now, guess because I waited a day, and then I could save again. But still strange how it can be that it’s possible to ‘send forms too often’…
By the way: this is not my thread, it’s from 1121 media
That is just perfect Ismael, you just made my day; thanks a ton, great support!
Ticket resolved ;-)
Hi Isamael, tried css code, but since it didn’t work, I set the old code back.
Now it’s in place again, through the customizer’s extra css panel: https://snipboard.io/dWzQiV.jpg
Feel free to try and see what works ;-)
Hi Ismael, thnx for thinking with me :-)
Tried to change the transition property, however, didn’t have effect…
Feel free to try through the admin environment; right now I’m doing the development css changes in the Customizer’s CSS panel.

Saving didnt work! The script returned the following error: {"apbct":{"blocked":true,"comment":"*** Forbidden. You sent forms too often. Please wait a few minutes. ***","stop_script":0}}
Hey Ismael,
Right now I have replaced the masonry grid by the portfolio grid at the original/right URL:
https://agsarchitects.e.wpstage.net/projecten/The only thing that’s not exactly the I’d like to see, is the little content shift. After loading the page, the white space below each row of images is quite large, too large actually, and then (I guess after loading all portfolio items) this space disappears and the images move up (to the place where they belong).
Any idea how to solve this?
I thought it might be caused by the grid settings, so I set the image size to portfolio (495×400) instead of the width of the column. However, this does not make any difference.
Suggestions appreciated ;-)
Since I’ve decided to go with the portfolio grid instead of the masonry grid, and with some help I got the look & feel the same as the masonry grids (see: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/portfolio-grid-hover-like-masonry-grid-hover/), this topic can be considered as solved.
June 30, 2021 at 1:08 pm in reply to: masonry grid filtering not working / showing wrong items #1308116Since I’ve decided to go with the portfolio grid instead of the masonry grid, and with some help I got the look & feel the same as the masonry grids (see: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/portfolio-grid-hover-like-masonry-grid-hover/), this topic can be considered as solved.
Same problem here…
This helps a bit: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/how-to-turn-off-preload-preload-effect-on-portfolio-grid/#post-1169042
However, it seems to cause a kind of layout shift after loading all items (in my case). So other suggestions are welcome to speed up loading time of the portfolio grid; masonry grid seems to be much faster…
Hi Ismael, the css needed some adjustments, and I think I’ve managed to get the hover effect the same. I added following code, can you please check if it needs improvement, or if it’s quite right this way? Thanks!
.grid-entry img { transition: all .4s ease-in-out; } .grid-entry:hover img { -webkit-transform: scale(1.05,1.05); transform: scale(1.05,1.05); } .grid-entry .grid-content { opacity: 0; transition: all 0.4s ease-in-out; position: absolute; bottom: 0; width: 100%; -webkit-transform: rotateX(120deg); -webkit-transform-origin: center bottom; -webkit-transform-style: preserve-3d; -moz-transform: rotateX(120deg); -moz-transform-origin: center bottom; -moz-transform-style: preserve-3d; transform: rotateX(120deg); transform-origin: center bottom; transform-style: preserve-3d; } .grid-entry .grid-content h3 { font-size:15px; } .grid-entry:hover .grid-content { opacity:1; -webkit-transform: rotateX(0deg); -webkit-transform-origin: center bottom; -webkit-transform-style: preserve-3d; -moz-transform: rotateX(0deg); -moz-transform-origin: center bottom; -moz-transform-style: preserve-3d; transform: rotateX(0deg); transform-origin: center bottom; transform-style: preserve-3d; } .grid-entry .image-overlay { background-color: transparent!important; } .grid-entry:hover .image-overlay { background-color: transparent!important; } .main_color .grid-entry-title { color:black; }
Hi Ismael, sorry for my late reply; somehow the ‘Notify me of follow-up replies via email’ seems not to work…
Your css code does a quite nice job, thank you.
I’ve implemented it here: https://agsarchitects.e.wpstage.net/projecten-test/
Would love to have it like here: https://agsarchitects.e.wpstage.net/projecten/So if we can get the font color the same, I think it’s a nice solution.
Hi Ismael, thnx for the reply mate! :-)
The number of items show nicely, right now; thought the problem would be solved. For the part of cropping the page/images, it does.
However, some portfolio items are still showing for categories where they should not…
For example: clicking the categories ‘industrie’, then ‘kantoren’, then ‘onderwijs’, and then back and forth, the upper 3 portfolio items are the same, while they should not. See: https://snipboard.io/LRgDn6.jpg
Turned off all plugins, cleared cache, and problem still resists.
In the private content a link with user id and password to the staging environment, as well as a login as admin to the staging site; can you please take a look and see whats going on?
Same error messages here, why is this?!?
It’s a shame Enfold’s theme options just suddenly disappeared; then I needed to manually update the theme version, nothing happened. Needed to install Jquery Migrate Helper, settings reappeared. But now there are these messages!
Come on guys, please try and do a better job…
October 17, 2020 at 9:11 am in reply to: Theme settings gone, solved with Enable jQuery Migrate Helper, but warnings… #1253451Hmm, just logged in, and it seems the warnings are gone…
Guess it will be fine for now; if the appear again, I’ll reopen this ticket or create a new one.
Thnx for the quick reply! ;-)

September 16, 2019 at 8:41 am in reply to: Contact Form Error Message “Deactivated Refused to Accept Google reCaptcha” #1138695Hi Ismael, thnx for replying and explaining.
However, at Enfold’s Privacy and Cookies page, I can’t find a “Default Cookie and Services Option Setting”.
See: https://imgur.com/a/EitzW2XCan you please provide a screenshot or something, so I can see where to find it?
Cheers,
MarcSeptember 14, 2019 at 3:27 pm in reply to: Contact Form Error Message “Deactivated Refused to Accept Google reCaptcha” #1138330Had same issues here.
Temporarily activating WP Rocket, and clearing cache and opcache did solve it for me.
For now.
