I guess it is ok to move the css into the child theme’s style.css? To keep all css in one palce. Or would you not do that?

Is it correct that you made the change in the core theme file? Not in the child theme? I suppose I can move the index.php file into the child theme in order to avoid the change will be overwritten after an update of Enfold?

I don’t understand what you mean by “you have to configure the theme options for every languages”. Where would I have to do that?

I always learned that with Polylang you should not use Enfold page settings but the standard WP settings to set the home and news/blog page. By creating and connecting the NL and EN pages and posts via pages and posts maintenance, the website knows which language to show when moving through the language switcher from Dutch to English and back. It always worked well like that.

If I set the pages for home and blog/news through Enfold Child Theme options, the Dutch news page looks and works allright, but the English news page shows no posts at all, see link below.

There is no server side caching active.

So what can be wrong then? I tried the same as you and experienced the same. I already re-installed WordPress and re-installed a new copy of Enfold for this site before I contacted you…

Hi Andy,

Obviously there is a conflict when you combine a link in an icon box together with target=”_blank” in de footer and I am pretty sure that my custom CSS has a influence on that. So a concession has to be made. I have advised my client to skip the idea to open those links in a new window and hope he will accept. That (I have tested) will solve the whole issue :-)

Sorry for that. During an update the screen shots were taken off from the server and not put back. You can see them now again.

Interesting info about the browser usage. According to StatCounter – GlobalStats I am always using, Samsung Internet is still over 6% of mobile browsers and not really declining. I believe that is a significant number…

All you suggested is done and nothing helps.

One ‘maybe’ I can think of is that through style.css in the child theme I have made some changes to the header in order to show the logo in the centre / in between the menu. But that only concerns large screens (from 990px onwards) and I do not see what influence that could have on the hamburger menu on a mobile, nor on a full screen slider which is not even in the header but in the content itself… Fyi find the css code below.

That’s strange… I have never had any issues with the Samsung internet app before.

And how many people are using it? I think a lot because most people started using their Samsung phone with the standard Samsung internet app before they noticed the other apps like Chrome etc.

Hey Ismael,

I hope I can explain a littlebit better what I want. That is for main category 2 (= templates) to get_previous_post and get_next_post for the main category items, not the sub category items. I am using the sub categories only to show the filter option on the overview page (see link).

When you click the 1st item (see link) and you click the arrow for previous post, you will now get the previous post for sub category (= blog & magazine). I want visitors to go to the previous post for the main category (= templates).

How can I achieve that?

Don’t worry: you will see competitors themes on this site, but hey, I mostly buy and sell Enfold theme :-)

Did all that, in all different browsers, but still see all in italic. For what it’s worth, I even restarted my pc.

Strange… In advanced styling I set the font weight for headings to light. This seems not to be the case on your screenshot?
