Here is another of my websites that is now missing the Facebook data. I tested by going to the FB link that is entered in the FB widget, and it loads the correct page, but a message appears “Please log in to continue.” Perhaps FB changes are the root problem? How can this be resolved so that the FB accounts shows on the website?
Cache has been cleared several times.
The screen shot shows that Facebook widget is empty. There should be graphics under the text “Facebook”.
Sorry, I must have made a typo.
Mac Firefox, Safari and Opera are fine.
Mac Chrome is not. Attached is a Chrome screen shot.More specifically: Mac Chrome, Safari and Opera are fine.
Mac Firefox is not.
The widget displays properly on PC browsers, but recently fails on Mac browsers – across all of our websites using Enfold. Other plugs likely aren’t causing your widget to fail only on Mac browsers?
Thank you. The child theme approach works so far. Resolved.

July 29, 2015 at 4:36 pm in reply to: Three websites continually report errors in theme log files #480338The test on the dev site showed no errors. We reinstalled the entire site to the server, and now have this error:
[28-Jul-2015 20:22:58 UTC] PHP Warning: Illegal string offset ‘/’ in ………/enfold/framework/php/class-form-generator.php on line 865
[28-Jul-2015 20:22:58 UTC] PHP Warning: Illegal string offset ‘/’ in ………/enfold/framework/php/class-form-generator.php on line 619What does that mean?
Thanks Andy. Hopefully Enfold will have this capability built in on a future update. This issue can be marked closed.
Should this be applied to a child theme so that it’s not overwritten by a theme update? What is your url to the article on how to set up child themes for Enfold?
Thanks. That changes ALL footer widget buttons. I need to ONLY change the one ImportantPage footer widget button.
July 14, 2015 at 5:33 pm in reply to: Three websites continually report errors in theme log files #473329Right. All the plugins are turned off on that test site. So, shall we proceed with turning them on to troubleshoot?
Bordered box. The bordered box that is currently in the upper navigation is correct. Change the code in the footer widget.
Issue:
The Enfold theme provides top-of-page nav menu style options: solid box, and bordered box.
The Enfold theme seems to only provide this widget nav menu style options: solid box.So, I have a bordered box for ImportantPage in the top-of-page menu, but, inconsistently, a solid box for importantPage in the widget menu.
Mission: To have the same style in both locations.
Location: All pages. View the top-of-page nav menu, and compare to the footer widget nav menu.

July 7, 2015 at 5:22 pm in reply to: Three websites continually report errors in theme log files #469833I don’t know how the install was completed. Will try all of this work on a test server, and report back.
The first section you posted is not in my edited error404 file.
How do I enclose the two sections in columns? Thanks, resolved. Can you refer me to someone who can set up the child theme for me, and move the customize functions to it?
That works! Thanks. What is the code and/or other change? I don’t want to loose it or break the site when the theme or anything else is upgraded. Plus, I would like to have other forms look and function the same for consistency.
