Thank you for bearing with me. So, a theme update does not change the Child theme files. So when Enfold changed the header.php file, we must now update our Child header.php file in order to work with the updated Enfold theme? Is that correct? If yes, then a crash could happen again in the future? So, a Best Practices procedure would be to download the updated header.php file and compare to our Child header.php file before installing?

The same thing is happening on other websites using the Enfold theme. Today, on a different website, I couldn’t even upload a 300KB image. :(
Thanks, the hosting provider just completed a thorough investigation and cannot resolve the issue. They looked at all the error logs and every possibility from their end.

Thanks. Changing the file name and ending on one file seemed to help. I tested once with one file and it uploaded. However, I tested with a larger file which already had lower case file ending, changing the file name, and it still failed.
Thanks for explaining. We have addressed the other issues and now have a good PageSpeed. So happy to see that Enfold does permit a good PageSpeed. Thanks again for a great theme!
Did the most recent WordPress or Enfold upgrade affect php upload memory_limit? I raised it from 256 to 512M limit, but I still can’t upload images with consistency.
Thanks. Well, we can’t. –> Images larger than 2.7MB failed on Mac. Any images (inconsistently) fail on PC Chrome and Explorer. Please test on PC Chrome as that it was is usually used to make website updates. Also test with images larger than 2.7MB. This problem has only occurred after the latest Enfold update and there are no other plugins to interfere. What else can it be? What else can we investigate?
Can we not eliminate this ‘error’ by editing and moving the files to footers (JavaScript, css files, jquery.js, jquery-migrate.min.js, avia-compat.js, google fonts,mediaelementplayer.css)

I have several sites using Enfold (because it’s a great theme to work with!) and even the small ones don’t pass the Google PageSpeed baseline of 85. In all cases, the biggest warning is “Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content” How can I do that step, or is that just how Enfold currently works?It’s the code direct from Twitter. If you do not recommend pasting in the code supplied by Twitter, what do you recommend that works with your theme?
Twitter’s widget seems to have a minimum width of 180 pixels. Maybe that is why it’s content is cut off in iPad portrait view. Is it easy to make footer 1 and 2 display in one row, and then footer 3 and 4 in one row – only on iPad portrait resolution view?
Thank you! This resolves the Facebook issue. The Twitter issue is still a problem. The theme doesn’t seem to have a Twitter feed widget.
I would like it to look the way it does now, but without cutting off the text in Twitter and Facebook feeds in iPad portrait. In all other devices and browsers that I’ve tested, they are not cut off. Here is your screen capture of how it is not cut off in iPad landscape.
Thanks, tried it. It forces a single column, and each item is a different width so it looks really clunky. Not a good look unfortunately.
