Hi Maya
You can find your FTP information for FileZilla over the account from your hoster.
Afterwards you should see the root directory from your website in FileZilla, at least this is how it’s done normally.Does it work like this?
Best,
MichaelAlright, so then I need to ask for a temporary admin login for https://commentreussirsaviepro.com/wp-login.php s’il te plaît :)
From outside it is quite hard to figure out what does the design difference between desktop and mobile in your case.Hi Célia
Just to make sure I understand it correctly.
You would like that it looks like this https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mWmakrTUV0qkkVDxWtCMIE9gTHmoqDq6/view?usp=sharing on your mobile screen, right?Best
MichaelHi Célia
Great, thanks.
So what exactly would you like to change?
Please keep in mind that it will very likely never look exactly the same on your phone than on desktop due to a lack of space.Best
MichaelDecember 13, 2018 at 5:43 pm in reply to: Center Copyright Info and Footer Menu in Mobile View #1044948No, in your case that would be:
#socket .menu { ... }
Perfekt – gut gemacht!
Hi mayamaria
You have to update Enfold manually in this case (from version 4.4 to 4.5.1 for example). There are two options:
1) By plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file
2) My preferred method, S(FTP). I described it in detail here https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-update-via-wp-dashboard-fails/#post-1022202I hope that helps.
Best,
MichaelHi Esther
You can bring the language switch before the logo by using the z-index value e.g. 1.
If you use z-index: 2; for the logo, the language switch should be displayed in front of the logo.Hope that helps.
Cheers
MichaelHi Hanneke
That error message sounds very Dutch to me ;) But I see you translated it as well…
Anyway, I guess you are currently using Enfold 4.4 so in this update, you need to update manually via (S)FTP or by using a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file
As I prefer the FTP method, I described it in detail here https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-update-via-wp-dashboard-fails/#post-1022202I hope that helps.
Best,
MichaelDecember 13, 2018 at 5:26 pm in reply to: Events Countdown With The Events Calendar: Event Title Format #1044939Hey maennig
The easiest solution is by just hiding it like this:
#top .av-trans-light-style .av-countdown-timer-title { display: none; }
Don’t forget to flush both your browser cache and the one from your caching plugin in case you are using one.
Cheers
MichaelDecember 13, 2018 at 5:23 pm in reply to: Center Copyright Info and Footer Menu in Mobile View #1044938Hi Mark
Try this for the Copyright:
#socket .copyright { float: center; }
For the footer menu you can adjust it the same way.
Cheers
MichaelHallo lkellerdaidalos
MichaelHi Celiachevalier
Could you maybe post a screenshot here (one from the desktop version and one from the mobile version) so I could see the difference?
Without an URL to your website or a screenshot it is quite difficult to help as you could imagine.Best regards
MichaelHey BlueSolution
You might just want to use the Classic editor plugin to disable Gutenberg, see https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor
My Enfold is running on 4.9.9
You mean you are using WordPress 4.9.9, not Enfold :) So you have Enfold version 4.5.1 running, is that correct?
Best regards
MichaelHey Karin
Sehr sehr gerne!

MichaelYes – perfect!
Your screenshot shows the new editor, Gutenberg. This has nothing in common with WPML.
If you don’t like the new editor or you want to have the old editor view back, I suggest installing the Classic editor plugin, see https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/This disables the Gutenberg editor and makes your view as it was before. Is that what you wanted to achieve?
Just go to https://wetransfer.com, upload your screenshot there and post the link to it here.
I hope it works ;)Hi Karin
I am using WPML with Enfold as well.
Could you please share a screenshot of how your backend looks like?Best regards
MichaelGreat to hear – good job!
Can you please translate what that red text in the image means?
I don’t speak Italian.Could you solve it now or do you need additional help?
It was not my intention to let you do my entire work, not at all.
I only mentioned it since you wrote about it ;) See here:
Because when you change the text or its size or the size of the browser window (on mobile) it won’t fit
Which element from the avia layout builder is that?
Did you go to “Media elements” -> “Image” and selected it from there?@Victoria_d Please close this thread.
Hi Günter
Thanks so much for your approach!
I did it exactly as you suggested, works like a charm. I styled it a bit by adding the following CSS code:
@media only screen and (min-width: 1005px) { .logo-only-mobile { display: none; } } .logo-only-mobile { margin-bottom: 30px !important; }
@Victoria_d: You may close this thread now.Best regards
MichaelLooks good on a desktop viewport.
However, if I resize the browser window with your sample to check the responsive behaviour, the text completely disappears.That’s what I meant :)
Ok so maybe you don’t use the image element. Please check this screenshot here to see what I mean:
Isn’t it, what you wanted to achieve?
Yes, but for some reason your solution did not work for me. Probably due to the reason I had to address the slider element directly and not the text section itself.
I think it would be a lot more reliable to not set an absolute width. Because when you change the text or its size or the size of the browser window (on mobile) it won’t fit
Correct, but I have implemented a different solution for smaller devices so the text will not be inside the image. Instead it will be below the background image due to a lack of space on a smartphone portrait view for example. So it’s all set.
Solved
Figured it out, was easier than I thought.So I added a custom CSS class to the “Easy Slider” element and then addressed it via CSS like this:
.kontakt-slider .avia-caption { width: 22%; left: 39%; right: 39%; }
Did this for all pages individually and this allows me to have individual width values for each element – just awesome!
Thanks a lot for your input cg!Hm no – does not do what I want unfortunately.
The text is currently always left aligned in front of the background image, but I would like it to have centered and as I said, with an individual width depending on its content inside respectively the slider element.So without setting a width value it is quite tiny but if I change that, it will be like this for all the pages no matter if I define a unique ID for the color section or not.
Do you understand what I mean? -
