Ismael,
Ditto again, EXACTLY what ^yukanl^ said :) Please advise. Thanx!
October 3, 2013 at 7:17 am in reply to: Animated Images are Horizontally Squished when Browser Resizes #169767Thanx Josue, I actually found a way to fix it today. You can close the topic. Cheers!
Ditto to what yukanl is saying/asking about “Adding Social Icons”. Devin, I don’t see anything mentioned about that specifically in the video you made.
Any thoughts here gents?
Just did. Thanx. Done!
Here you go : http://bit.ly/12D6erM
Click on California under locations, and then scroll down and click any other state, and you’ll see what I mean.
Need a way to have some kind of dynamic anchor / scroll-to point attached to the clicking of each item
Fixed it! You can close this topic. For anyone else that might stumble on this thread, I added a z-index property set greater than 1 to the following ID and CLASS. Weird part is, I would have bet thousands that I checked these before (I tried adding z-index properties to every ID and CLASS that seemed to make sense.) Cheers!!
#header_main_alternate, .header_color .main_menu ul { z-index: 2; }
I know this issue is rather specific to this particular site/layout – but I do think it could help anyone that finds themselves in a similar customizing situation, so I figured I’d post my findings FFR.
NOTE to SELF : Thanx Mike! You’re welcome Mike. Way to go!! You’re the best! No, YOU are!!! </schizo-sarcasm>
:)
+1 for Gstar72 animated rollover example. Those are GORGEOUS. Especially if we could customize them :)
Look at the roll over transitions under why it works – fluid, nice
Still no luck. Any one get a chance to look at this? At this point I’m willing to pay for help, if someone has time. The client’s been waiting and is losing patience :(
Customizable “Import Dummy Data” so clients can setup multiple sites easily, with their own content based on a template theme.
Ok, thanx Devin. Seems like it might be a useful feature to consider.
Any thoughts here guys? Seems like a relatively small issue, if you know where to look, but after hours upon hours of guessing, I obviously don’t :(
I’m also trying to change the Social Media Icons in the header (I want to add “Blogger” to the options). I have 2.3 installed, but it is not apparent to me where to add this option. Doesn’t seem to be anything in the Icon Font Manager to add Social Media Icons . Please help. Thanx!
I just updated to 2.3, and I understand the process for adding the custom icons (in addition to Entypo) but how do I add additional custom icons to the “Social Media Icons” in the header?
Great. Thanx! Downloading it manually now. Can’t wait to try out the new icon features. Cheers!!
Wow. Awesome! Your post is LITERALLY from the future (still Sept here in the states :) )
Having just upgraded to 2.2, shouldn’t I be able to see the 2.3 “update theme” link in the Enfold options? Because it doesn’t say there is a new update. Just curious to see if that feature is working or not. I did generate and install my TF API key, so, not sure why it’s not working properly.
Also, I just checked the TF page, and it still says “Update to 2.2” at the top, but the bottom has the 2.3 changes. So, is Kriesi in the middle of an update roll out as I type this? Cause that would be great timing :)

I actually meant Enfold’s “Admin Bar” feature, or at least that’s what I thought it was called. Basically the secondary main menu system that sits above the Logo. But now, upon looking at this again, it looks like it IS the WP Admin Bar. I have an “auto-hide” plugin for it that was causing the issue. Ha! Issue closed. Thx.
September 4, 2013 at 4:14 pm in reply to: Custom CSS not reading in Firefox, but does in Chrome #139377Hmph. Nvmd. Seemed to be an FF refresh/reload issue. That browser is getting weirder and weirder these days. Feel free to close.
Getting One Step Closer . . . I was able to hard code the height, but not the width for some reason. I even tried !important, but when I scale the browser the image width shrinks.
Please have a look and let me know what I can do to accomplish this. Thanx!
Think I finally found the property to fix. It was switching “display” to “block” from “inline”.
However, still having the same issue when the site scales. I’m not sure what height properties to change in my media calls to make the images still not have the extra space when scaling.
Is there a way to have specific images NOT scale when resizing the browser?
Hi Devin,
Here ya go. The space is subtle, but annoying. Thanx!
As a workaround I’ve changed the term “All” to “General Questions” though this is not ideal, and I would still appreciate input on my questions above.
For sake of anyone else seeking to do the same, alter the strings in the following two lines. NOTE : At first I just changed one, and it changed visuals but broke the functionality, so make sure to change both. Line 215 and 245 in toggles.php.
$tag_string = "{".__('All','avia_framework' )."} ";<br />
$start = array(__('All','avia_framework' ) => true);<br />So . . . editing the above will do what exactly? Just remove the “All” option in a sortable list? But then, are you saying the list will no longer have ANY sorting options?
While I understand there’s no “simple” way to remove “All” and default to another category, there has to be SOME kind of way to do this. Could you point me in the right direction? Maybe some kind of javascript that reloads the page with one of the other categories “clicked”. Any direction you could provide would be great. Thanx!
August 2, 2013 at 5:12 am in reply to: How can I Insert an Advanced Layer Slider Inside a Tab? #129711Hi Nick,
Just sent you an email with the link (goo.gl still says everything is public, so I’m wary of that).
Thought I had a workaround, but it didn’t work :( So I’m back to trying to put the slider (easyslider or otherwise) inside the tab. Unless there’s a way to control the slider position with a link? I THOUGHT deeplinking would do that, but it doesn’t seem to work as I’d hoped.
My scenario for the workaround was, (1) I have several tabs (2) When I click on one of those tabs, I’d like the slider to move to a corresponding position. Seemed like deeplinking should work here, but no luck. Conversely, I’d like the tab to change if the user slides to a certain point in the slider.
Thanx!
Found the answer :
- Enable debug mode in Enfold
- Wrap desired content with div/class
July 20, 2013 at 8:22 pm in reply to: How can I Insert an Advanced Layer Slider Inside a Tab? #129709Sure, could you post an email to send a link to? It’s a client site and I don’t want to post it publicly. Thank you.
Hi Devin,
Thank you for the reply. I have found this plugin to work well.
http://demo.graphpaperpress.com/base/shortcodes/
No GUI for client friendly usage, but the shortcodes do the trick.
Michae1
You’re welcome. Figured somethin’ was fishy. Thanks for a GREAT Theme Kriesi! You do amazing work. Cheers!!
