Thank you. Credentials are below in the private section.
Sorry, I failed to mention in my first ticket that we did that. I tweaked all theme settings to not combine css or js. I also played with where the javascript gets loaded and tested the other settings. Clearing the server cache after changing settings each time.
I just tested again this morning and the same issue is occurring. So, it’s not something that appears to be stuck in the cache.
Updating both WP core and Enfold to the newest versions seems to have resolved the issue.
Note that it looks fine in the preview under Appearance –> Customize, it’s just the live, front-end being affected. I’m adding links to screenshots to show you the difference.
We did roll back, but it did not help this issue. We think that updating changed the database with the styling and reverting back did not update the database. We have confirmed this issue on another site as well, on a Fullwidth Easy Slider. The theme settings are overriding the title font color settings in the slider. I’m having to add custom CSS.
We are currently running 4.8.9. We are not comfortable giving you FTP login credentials on a multisite network, our apologies!
We believe updating is what caused the issue to begin with (we did not have this issue prior to the update), and we’re not ready to update again at this time because there’s another outstanding issue with galleries being duplicated with the update – separate topic.
Uploaded, cleared server cache and DNS cache and attempted in a private browser – still no change.
Added.
It did not help.

I agree that’s how it should be. Maybe this is an issue specific to the Fullwidth Easy Slider?
We’ve recreated the issue on a password protected page. Details in private note. The .avia-caption-title should be white, as set in the element’s settings and not gray, as set in the advanced styling.
Correction – a colleague completely changed the element to make the font white – it wasn’t the reversion that fixed it. Again, I’m sorry we don’t have a live page to show you, but the client wanted these fixed ASAP so we had to band-aid them. If I need to create a password-protected page that duplicates the issue, please let me know.
We had to revert back to the last Enfold update due to several issues with the new version. The public page that this was occurring is now working since the reversion. For the other page that I could send you, you have to have a user account to see, which doesn’t help you at all. If you have credentials, I can add you as a user and send you that link.
File compression settings are already disabled.
Why would we want to disable post CSS? My apologies, but I’m not comfortable doing this on a live site. The client is already upset by all of the things that happened to their site with the last update.
I can’t without updating Enfold again. We reverted back to an old version because of this and other issues.

Yes, please – thank you!
Ah, brilliant! Yes, using the shortened URL worked just fine.
There is nothing custom about this. We copied the URL directly from the external website and pasted it into the menu item as a custom link (under Appearance –> Menus). Nothing special about any of this.
It doesn’t matter if the pin parameter is empty or not – I’ve tried as is and removing that parameter. (That parameter is unnecessary for our purposes but was in the URL when we pulled it from the external site).
Thank you, but the query doesn’t work with that link. (It should select Peace River from the Select Presbytery dropdown, which it does with other links that have been posted).
I have done a hard refresh, purged the cache, tried in a different browser, and tried in a private browser – the slider still does not appear when I use the link that you provided. If I replace the URL with https://ogaapps.pcusa.org/directories/#/church, it works fine, even with the forward slash after the hash tag. It’s definitely the query in the URL that’s breaking the slider. The link that is currently in the menu under Find a Church is as you gave it to me, without the forward slash after the hash tag. Are you seeing the slider now?
Changing to that URL did not fix the issue. And when you click on that URL, the URL in the browser has the slash – https://ogaapps.pcusa.org/directories/#/church?pin=&presbytery=315528 is copied exactly from the browser.

This reply has been marked as private.Yes, that’s fine – what username/email should we use?
Thanks, Mike. Yeah, we aren’t running any plug-ins like that, but we’ve done the same thing – created a new account for the user and hoping that fixes things. Thank you so much for your help!
The issue seems to be user-based. We’ve made some changes to the security level and cache methods, sent the client a temporary test log-in, and she was able to edit using that. However, we can’t reproduce her specific issue and why it wasn’t working with her user account to begin with. She’s an admin, so there’s nothing there that should be messing around with things. We also haven’t had any reports from other clients on Enfold. It’s very strange.
Interesting… We’re nearly certain this is an ISP problem with our network – issues have been happening on some of our older sites specifically on the east coast. It is definitely not cache – my colleague and the client have cleared their caches and used multiple browsers several times. We’ve also cleared the server cache several times.
Are you all able to test from a specific region in the US? Can you test on the east coast? South Carolina specifically, or as close as you can get?
The icon magically appeared for me today, but it is still missing for my colleague and for the client (who are in two different locations – one in Tennessee, one in South Carolina).
We tried switching it to a different icon, which we could see, but when we changed it back, it still wasn’t there for my colleague (and this was after clearing her browser cache).
Thank you all so much for your help!
We have multiple people experiencing this issue for this website – all on different computers and browsers and in different parts of the country. If it’s looking okay to you, but not to others, even if it was due to some sort of network issue, how would I “reset” it. I’ve already cleared browser cache and server cache, and nothing has changed.
It seems very coincidental to me that both @Gianluigi and I are experiencing the exact same error with just the YouTube icon and none of the other icons. To me, combined with several people across the country seeing the same thing I am, that points to either a code issue or a font issue. I thought perhaps it has to do with the fonts installed on your computer – we’ve had a similar issue on Windows machines with Helvetica – but then that doesn’t make sense that @Gianluigi can see our website’s YouTube icon fine but not his own.
Testing it on Screenshot Guru, I can see the YouTube icon, but that doesn’t really tell me anything or help me fix the problem.
