OK, I did that and the errors are no longer there. May I ask what that line did exactly? Also, if/when the theme is updated how this will affect the changes I made to the child theme?

    Thank you!

    Thanks Dude,

I did this (in my child theme, so I created the dirs and then copied the original PHP file) and it stopped the exact same error, but I still see the first two error messages reported right under the Yoast panel in the pages I’m editing…

Notice: Undefined index: index in /home/***/***/***/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/slideshow_layerslider.php on line 118

Notice: Undefined index: index in /home/***/***/***/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/slideshow_layerslider.php on line 121

    Any

Hm – I just read through this thread because I have the same issue (also when running WordPress SEO by Yoast). Of all the above replies by the Kriesi team, what is the recommended fix exactly? My errors are as follows (the *** are just hiding the names of the directories)…

Notice: Undefined index: index in /***/***/***/***/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/slideshow_layerslider.php on line 118

Notice: Undefined index: index in /***/***/***/***/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/slideshow_layerslider.php on line 121

This theme is more insane the more I use it. Custom CSS fields just opened a whole new world! Love it!

    Thanks Yigit!

    Thanks Josue! All set

Ismael, You rock! All set. Thank you, thank you!

Thanks for that Ismael. Now, if we can figure out why my menu text doesn’t appear at all (in the Mobile portrait (320×480), Mobile landscape (480×320) and Small tablet portrait (600×800), Tablet portrait (768×1024) modes)!!!

Also, the Enfold Secondary Menu in the Small tablet landscape (800×600) and Tablet portrait (768×1024) are too long and would ideally appear on different lines as they do on the smaller layouts.

But really, my main concern is still the impetus of this thread – not being able to see the text in the Mobile portrait (320×480), Mobile landscape (480×320) and Small tablet portrait (600×800), Tablet portrait (768×1024) modes.

    Thank you :)

Hi Yigit, that did not help the issue with the link visibility. :(

The menus are popping out when I think I need them to, but the links themselves – in the mobile menu – are only visible on Small tablet landscape (800×600) and none of the other responsive layouts (e.g. Mobile portrait (320×480), Mobile landscape (480×320) and Small tablet portrait (600×800), Tablet portrait (768×1024)). Also, I would like the mobile menu to appear when in the Tablet landscape (1024×768) view since the navigation runs long.

Thank you for the continued support

Thanks Ismael – I clicked the second option and the menu is visible on Small tablet landscape (800×600), but no other mobile sizes. The link is http://www.rockspotclimbing.com/

in reply to: Active menu color works on all but one menu item #281393

Thanks Yigit. I deleted the page titled ‘portfolio’ and created a new page called ‘examples of our work’ and then added it back to the menu and changed the label to ‘portfolio’ and it works. Seems to be an odd issue whereby if the page name is portfolio, it associates itself with the previous menu item. I have no idea why?!

in reply to: Image overlay issue – I think #271605

No, it’s not the CSS – the root of the issue seems to be the javascript. Even without the CSS you can see (using Firebug) that that weird behavior persists.

in reply to: WooCommerce database connection error on checkout #258627

    Hi Jouse,

I went to the 2014 theme tested it and checkout worked. Then I went back to Enfold and it seems to work now? Not sure why this is the case. One of the things that drives me nuts when support folks ask me to do this is MANY of the settings get screwed-up and now I have the issue of remapping all the widgets for example. Probably fodder for another thread, but why can we not just switch between themes without losing so many settings?!

    Thanks,
    Larry

Dude – Peter, That’s it man, thanks!

in reply to: Portfolio image height #249433

I’ll be honest – this is disappointing support. Ismael your ‘fix’ didn’t do anything and I already provided the link to a portfolio item (twice – including the original message). What next?

in reply to: Portfolio image height #249042

Thanks Ismael, I tried all the above steps and it made no difference? I also provided the link earlier so you can see an example of the portfolio item…

I’d like it if the image on the detail page for each dancer (http://newsite.riballet.org/dancer-bios/) was not cropped at all. With the changes you suggested above I saw no difference?

    Thank you

in reply to: All portfolio items in a given category on one page #213144

    Hi Devin,
Let me know about my previous post.

    Thanks,
    Larry

in reply to: All portfolio items in a given category on one page #212457

    Hi Devin,

I can do that – just would like to point out again that there is only 1 entry per category because I have a slideshow inside that one post (in some cases as many as 20+ slides). I’m looking to have those 20+ slides appear on their own page the way they appear when you click on the portfolio category in the existing portfolio.

If we’re both clear on that and you think it’s still something I’ve overlooked and you can demonstrate once I provide a login, I’m happy to do that. Please let me know.

    Brgds,
    Larry

in reply to: All portfolio items in a given category on one page #211329

Yes, that was the reason I contacted support. I tried that. Here is an example…
    http://www.setinstone123.com/pool-aprons/

… you see the one portfolio/category (would love to see all the images associated with that category instead), but even if you click on the portfolio you are taken to a page with just the featured image and none of the images associated with that category.

How can I see all the images associated with a category on a page and NOT using AJAX or whatever is being used to show them when you click on one of the categories from http://www.setinstone123.com/our-work/

    Thanks

in reply to: All portfolio items in a given category on one page #211306

Yes, I do see that there is one item in each category. I have, for example, Countertops and in that portfolio entry I’ve added 10 images of all the countertops. Are you saying I should have a separate entry for each countertop? I like the way the theme works with when you go to…
    http://www.setinstone123.com/our-work/

… and then click one of the portfolio items. It shows you all the images in a gallery for that area/item. I would like to take the gallery that pops-up when you select a category and have that be what’s available when you click on featured projects from the home page.

Now when I click on a featured item from the home page I just see the featured image and can’t click to see all the items of that given category? Can this be configured to show all the photos?

in reply to: All portfolio items in a given category on one page #210707

    Hi Ismael,

Sorry, I should have mentioned I tried all that. I’ve also reset permalinks, disabled plugins and tried that as well. Seems to be something odd happening?

    Thank you,
    Larry

in reply to: Can't edit text in advanced layout editor #119909

All plugins disabled. Running 3.5.1. Fresh install of theme. Cache cleared.

LayerSlider can not be pasted in as short code (nothing is rendered if I paste it into the text or visual editor, the shortcode merely displays). I’ve tried enabling and disabling the visual editor in my admin profile.

There is an issue, can someone acknowledge it and provide information on how to fix it (or when it will be fixed in an update)?

in reply to: Can't edit text in advanced layout editor #119893

I’m also using v1.4, have all plugins disabled and can not use the advanced layout editor. I need it to use the advanced editor apparently to use the layer slider, so the above comment is not going to help me. Please let us know what we can do to use the advanced layout editor so we can use the layer slider asap, it was a big decision (along with Kreisi’s rep) for why we chose this theme.

    Thank you
