January 25, 2018 at 6:55 am in reply to: Woocommerce & Enfold: How can I hide the prices in the shop? #902637
I was able to fix it on the single product page with this CSS:
.single-product .price { display: none!important;
January 25, 2018 at 6:47 am in reply to: Woocommerce & Enfold: How can I hide the prices in the shop? #902628It seems that this solution no longer works with WooCommerce 3.x ? It was working fine on my site til the update and now I have the price at the top of my [product purchase button] content from an Avia built page: https://metalkards.com/product/deluxe-card-samples/
Hi Moderators,
I’m looking for the exact files here that Jordan supplies above, however it looks like they were hosted on his Dropbox and so the links have expired. Can someone else please post, as it’s not included in the “theme options” download folder for the demos, those settings only include the old original theme demos.

April 17, 2017 at 10:24 pm in reply to: Easy Slider Shortcode not displaying text in WooCommerce #778974Thank you Victoria, strange that it all of a sudden started working. I rooted the javascript problem to the fix suggested for defering the parsing of javascript here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-theme-implement-deferred-parsing-of-javascript/
Been using Enfold since early release, was a fan of Kriesi back when it was just him and Clean Cut and such ;) Thanks guys, and here’s my contribution to the community:
April 13, 2017 at 11:15 pm in reply to: Easy Slider Shortcode not displaying text in WooCommerce #777576So strangely enough, the copy of my site which is nearly duplicate (made a month ago but applied same updates to plugins and such and has same plugins active) that version of the site lets me modify Theme Options which at this point is my main concern. On pages that already exist, the Advanced Editor works, but on new blog posts they don’t “save” when I click save. Something is up batman
April 13, 2017 at 7:59 pm in reply to: Easy Slider Shortcode not displaying text in WooCommerce #777489Ah Yigit my man, thank you, that was one issue I caused (and I found a second redirect I messed up). That fixes the Layslider Text :/ Still can’t edit the Theme Options, and now I’ve realized that I can’t even edit a post with the Visual Editor.. I’m stuck in Text mode only when editing a post. When I go into the Advanced Editor (Avia) it displays, but none of the edits I make will actually save… ack, my site is now broken and I am stuck in the mud as we are trying to launch an Easter Promo today.
April 13, 2017 at 9:03 am in reply to: Easy Slider Shortcode not displaying text in WooCommerce #777129Alright so I have concluded from research that the layslider bug is the same one affecting all Enfold customers in that LaySlider has updated to 6.3.0 which explains why my site has been perpetually showing (1) update but when I click “updates” it shows none, because it’s built into Enfold which includes 6.2.2 – Now, why won’t my Enfold Theme Settings load?
April 13, 2017 at 8:27 am in reply to: Easy Slider Shortcode not displaying text in WooCommerce #777119OK I have more insight, I updated to the latest version of Woocommerce just now and got these error after disabling maintenance mode, in private section.
Here is the code from lines 4782 – 4789:
// We don't need to write to the file, so just open for reading. $fp = fopen( $file, 'r' ); // Pull only the first 8kiB of the file in. $file_data = fread( $fp, 8192 ); // PHP will close file handle, but we are good citizens. fclose( $fp );

April 11, 2017 at 7:37 pm in reply to: Easy Slider Shortcode not displaying text in WooCommerce #776271Perhaps related, but I just noticed that when I click on the child theme settings, it doesn’t properly load the CSS / Ajax menu, and I cannot save those settings. I haven’t changed anything other than updating to latest version of plugins / theme, not sure what is going on but I went through past help posts and checked permissions, memory limit, deactivated plugins, etc. Tried re-uploading main enfold and child theme, no luck.
April 11, 2017 at 8:43 am in reply to: Easy Slider Shortcode not displaying text in WooCommerce #775875Hi Rikard,
Are you sure about that? There should be text overlays on the images. I’ve tried clearning the browser cache, as well as testing in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. The images on the slider work, and they slide, but the text that should be displaying over top of the images is what is not working. Please confirm you see text over the images generated by the slider (see my above paste of code for the text that should be displayed).
December 9, 2013 at 10:25 pm in reply to: Avia Advanced Editor doesn't load with WordPress SEO by Yoast Plugin #198228Well hot nugget, we’re getting somewhere! Confirmed, your’s does work. Now in terms of trouble shooting, we’ve found the variable – your login. I just logged out, and logged into the account I created for you guys, and sure enough it also works for me!
It will not work correctly, or at all, under my user account. Does that mean I need to delete mine and create a new one? Will that mess up the permissions of the rest of my wordpress site? Or is there a way you can fix it for my login? I can provide login info, Thanks
Alright, I’ve put that into effect, doesn’t that just not show errors for things that may help us bug fix other things in the future though? Just curious… but that did fix it.
December 9, 2013 at 8:24 pm in reply to: Avia Advanced Editor doesn't load with WordPress SEO by Yoast Plugin #198181Dude – your reply is set to “private” for me, and I cannot read it? Someone please let me know what OS and Browser they’re in, and if at all possible please provide screenshots of the Yoast SEO plugin + Avia Layout Builder working in the “edit page” screen of my site. I’ve tried on two different macs, running the latest version of 10.6, and 10.7 respectively, in the latest version of Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. All show the exact same problem, as the screenshots I have provided here.
I can confirm this bug exists on 6 separate environments, yet now two moderators have said the site is working. Please confirm
December 9, 2013 at 5:48 am in reply to: Avia Advanced Editor doesn't load with WordPress SEO by Yoast Plugin #197913And please note in the “Add New Page” screen I also cannot use the “Advanced Layout Editor” ie. Avia Layout Builder

http://screencast.com/t/nad6cmdtAnd my post above confirms that I’m still having the issue, contrary to what Josue has said.
Please help, we are 3 weeks into this problem. thank you.

Thanks, but actually, if you could just delete this whole thread – it’s of no help to anyone.
Realized I was so frustrated in it not working, you were right and it was never broken in the first place. Restoring defaults fixed everything because I broke it :(
The link is in my original reply… but I’ve figured out on my own how to resolve the issue.
For future users with the same issue, loading the “dummy data” in the theme options somehow resolved the issue.
Moderators: Due to the security of my company, please remove my website link in my original post. It is a test server duplicate of my actual site and I wish not to have it publicly listed… I felt secure posting it originally as it was needed for this support issue and I could then edit my post at the time, but it seems your system takes out my ability to edit original posts. As the issue is resolved, it does no help to future users searching support if my site address is listed, I would appreciate if it is removed. thank you.
Hey Devin,
Let’s revisit this, are you saying that my site is working correctly and displaying the non-fixed header properly? That is, as you scroll down the page, the header nav menu shrinks and maintains positioning at the top of your browser even as you scroll down? I think you misread and are confusing my question with my header currently working as *fixed* – when it is currently set to *non-fixed* meaning if you see it fixed, it is *not* working.
As for my viewing a cached version – Negative ghost rider. I have disabled all plugins including those for caching, as well as any server caching services such as CloudFlare. I’ve dumped my browsing data, viewed in Incognito, and as in my original post, tested this across 3 different browsers (of which 2 had no previous visits to said website, thus no cached history to pull from). Thanks again for the help.
