Enfold team has been beat by Safari and is not willing to manage their slider solution, they have defaulted to another slider as a workaround and basically abandoned theirs.
I’m ok with this because it works…I just wish we had gotten here faster with better comms from Enfold and less ‘lies’ (reference to another thread about this issue which made me LOL) about future release schedules and fixes.
thanks for the workaround with layer slider… will try that today.
took a bit too long just to get that IMO, but better late than never!

I’ll hold my breath over the weekend, but if there is not a release on Monday with a fix then Enfold support has officially lost the edge it has held for years.

Yes I will do that now.
Can you provide access to old files so that we can roll back to previous working version? We are dealing with a client who at this point can no longer afford to wait for the issue to be resolved on the current release. If this is possible please provide instructions or link to instructions and files. If this is not possible a conservative estimate of when you think the problem will be sorted out would be very helpful

Hey guys – we have been patiently waiting for this to be fixed…any update on when a new version is coming out with a fix? lots of clients saying Safari desktop users cannot see their videos and a blank screen is not something we can have for that % of their traffic…

BUT – in the process of writing this and sharing my login I had to change my password. When I went to my profile page to update my password, I tried to save my new password and the page said I had to create a nickname BEFORE I could save my password…
Now that I’ve created a new pwd AND set a nickname, that login is now working :P
I do not know which task solved the problem, but it is good to see that something has helped make this go away for this profile…
I will update some of our other sites and see if we can get some more data and insight into why & when this happens.

Any idea why my user and a couple other users cannot see the ‘Visual’ or ‘Text’ tabs and the kriesi and other accounts can?
It appears it is NOT a browser issue, but an account issue.

My entire team, as well as partners at other marketing agencies were talking about the Enfold ‘upgrade’ today and all wonder why this preview feature was added? Was it requested? Is it really that handy? Does it really work? Are previews accurate? (background doesn’t load, so not really that helpful IMO)
Considering the fact that this was a major version change with a new learning curve to the backend and a lot of screen real estate being dedicated to a feature that is not necessarily welcome by all, I also would LOVE to know how to turn the new Preview feature off not only my login, but for the entire team…is there a disable in the functions.php or somewhere else that can toggle it?

I’ve attached a screenshot of the same post, not only on WPE staging, but with Chrome Incognito…
When I searched on Safari and Firefox, it was the first time those browsers had been to this site…hadn’t even opened those programs in months as I ONLY use Safari & FF for testing…so I don’t believe its caching on the client side…nor do I think its on the server side…
And this appears to be widespread. Plus, we rolled back Enfold on the live site so we could complete the work and once we rolled back everything works fine on live.
We have instructed our team to stop upgrading Enfold until y’all can find a solution.

I’m in the US and on Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 and have tested on Firefox (51.0.1 (64-bit)), Safari (Version 8.0.4 (10600.4.10.7)) & Chrome (Version 56.0.2924.87 (64-bit))…another team member here has tested on his PC (I don’t have his specs) and has the same issue across browsers.
However, I have a team in Portugal, and one of the guys on a PC is not having this issue with the site. The problem is we are almost finished with the site and its due this week, and we need the team working on it…your help is appreciated and needed now more than ever.
PS – also just tested on my iPad and it does not work on Chrome or Safari…

Hello, I’m having the same/similar issue. The Text Block element has no Visual or Text tab so I can’t switch back and forth to edit inline CSS, if needed. Clicking on the save button, or close icon, does nothing. The Text Block editor stays open.. All that can be done is to leave the page and reopen it for editing, but no changes are saved.
I’ve determined it is not a caching issue as we host on WP Engine and caching is not available on the staging site.
Our deadline to finish this site is rapidly approaching. We need to get this issue resolved as soon as possible. We are currently on WordPress 4.7.3 and Enfold 4.0.2. I offer any help I can, to help resolve this.

nevermind, I was able to increase the memory limit to 256M and it worked.
I had no problem importing the default demo, just the construction one.
I’ve created an admin account for you.
I am also looking for the same txt file as I’m having problems with this demo import and wanted to try the method mentioned here;
