Well, I guess it was some sort of conflict with the hosting. I just moved the site over to different hosting and it seems to be working now. At least for the time being!
May 28, 2019 at 5:05 pm in reply to: Theme Options "Saving Didn't Work" & Problem with Avia layout builder #1104904Thanks. It tried this but it didn’t work and I had to contact the hosting company. They turned off ModSecurity but it still didn’t fix the situation. Then we went through and disabled (not just deactivated- because they all were deactivated at the time) and re-enabled plugins and it seems to have fixed the issue.
Thank you for your help.

But the Avia Layout Builder is still not working. Can you help with that, please?

May 24, 2019 at 6:17 pm in reply to: Theme Options "Saving Didn't Work" & Problem with Avia layout builder #1103969Hi Nikko, I fixed the site address url issue.
That mixed content error just happened an hour or so ago. I re-updated the enfold theme manually and that is when it appeared. (I was hoping by re-updating the theme it might fix the avia issue.) The social icons are not showing properly now either.

May 22, 2019 at 7:46 pm in reply to: Theme Options "Saving Didn't Work" & Problem with Avia layout builder #1103442Any additional help here would be appreciated… Still having issues with the Avia Layout Builder. I cant edit anything or make a new page because it freezes up.
May 20, 2019 at 4:26 pm in reply to: Theme Options "Saving Didn't Work" & Problem with Avia layout builder #1102516I have updated to 4.5.7 and there has been no change to the situation.
EDIT:
Actually, I can now edit the Theme Options and save. But the Avia Layout Builder is still giving me the spinning wheel on the homepage I am trying to edit. And any new pages, after they are published, I get the spinning wheel as well.- This reply was modified 5 years, 6 months ago by kubera.
THANK YOU!
I think that did the trick. It worked fine in Firefox, but I had to force the Chrome browser to refresh the cache. It seems to be working better now.
Anything else I can try to get the masonry to sort right?
That is the way I originally had it. There is no change to the number of errors.
Any other ideas?
Also, When I do a find search on the page you sent – it shows in the code
It was already disabled. So, when you said to toggle it I turned it on. HA. But, I just turned them off, and it still the same thing with the sorting issue. I just checked the masonry_entries.js file in my file manager in cpanel and the “horizontalOrder” parameter is saved in the file.
I also tried the post grid layout but that doesnt work the same as far as the alphabetical sorting selection or the display of the title and expert only on hover and having it overlay the featured image of the post. – Like the masonry does.
I made sure the theme was up to date, then edited the config-templatebuilder file and did the css/js compression – but no change. I even tried in different browsers just to be sure cache was cleared.
But would using the portfolio-grid mean having to rebuild all of the categories and posts in the portfolio section? Or is there a way to call the existing regular posts and categories into the portfolio area?
Hi Mike,
I fixed the login sorry about that. Password has been reset to what I provided before.I managed to do what I want by following the advice here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/adding-a-widget-area-inside-the-inner-container-of-the-header-after-the-logo/
It is exactly what I was looking for.However, it didn’t work right on mobile. I added this code to help:
#header_main .inner-container .widget { position: absolute; right: 0; padding: 0; } /* Header widget Breakpoint */ @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { .container.av-logo-container .inner-container { display: block !important; } #top #header .logo { display: inline-block; } /* Menu */ #top #header .main_menu { display: inline-block; float: right; } #top #header .av-main-nav-wrap { float: right; } #top #header .widget { margin-top: -40px; margin-right: 30%; } #header_main .container { max-height: 150px; } #header_main { height: 150px; } }
It seems to look fine on iPhone and iPad. But I still have to test on other devices.
I think I have resolved this on my own.
In the loop-about-author.php file I have added code similar to the following:
$company_name = get_user_field(‘company_name’);
$company = __(“Company:”,’avia_framework’) .” “. $author_company;
<p class=’author-company’>{$company}</p>I will have to do a similar code for each item I want to be displayed. But, it seems to be working.
For example, some of those field’s meta names (hooks?) are things like:
Wp_S2m_Birth_Month
Wp_S2m_Company_Name
Wp_S2m_Cell_Phone_NumberMarch 20, 2018 at 5:00 pm in reply to: Amazon (AWS) hosted video no longer not showing properly in Enfold Theme #929964March 14, 2018 at 8:48 pm in reply to: Cannot edit text in advanced layout editor in some locations #926828Works Great! Thanks for your help.

March 14, 2018 at 3:55 pm in reply to: Cannot edit text in advanced layout editor in some locations #926665Hi, any update on my last post?
Basilis, I imagine you were directing your comment to gcohe000?
Thanks!
Well, I don’t know what changed, but both issues seem to have been resolved. It had been 2 days on the social icon thing, so it doesn’t seem like a time issue. But maybe. I will try on another site in a few days and see if the same problems persist and what might have resolved the issue.
No I guess not. Thanks, Jordan. We can close it out.
Thank you Basilis. I suspected as much but had to ask the question. I might look into the freelance option if I can’t live with my work around.
BTW I will use Gold, Silver, Bronze in lieu of Cheap, Average, Expensive.
