Hey!
I am afraid that I can’t tell which of the answers given by Envato are correct, since there seem to be several interpretations on what we are allowed to do and what not. Once Envato has managed to clean up the mess that are the new support rules we can let you know if its possible for us to offer free ongoing support or we will indeed need to disable posting capabilities in the forum after 6 months.
Right now you shouldn’t be to worried, there are still months ahead of us were all of this can (and probably will) change :)
@comitzuu probably not. We will use the Envato API to fetch if a user is allowed to post and as it seems having more license keys does not add up. the date of the latest purchase counts…Regards,
KriesiHi!
Actually I think this is indeed something that needs to be done by adjusting the server settings. If I link to one of the wordpress default themes on my server it happens as well:

Regards,
KriesiHi!
Reading will always be possible. Asking questions will only be possible with an active and valid theme or support license :)
Regards,
KriesiHey mtmfx!
I am afraid we are not able to set our own support rules. Currently it appears that we will need to implement the 6 month limit as well, however I still hope that Envato allows us to set our own rules in the future, as long as its not less than is promised by Envato. In our case that would mean return to lifetime support.
Right now, for everyone who has purchased a theme from us, updates are still free forever and support will end in 6 months from now, unless a new theme copy or a support package is purchased…
Cheers!
KriesiHi!
Please let me add that there never was a known security flaw in Enfold which would allow a user to hack an entire website so I would heavily recommend to check any other software you are using as well. As Yigit suggested, using security plugins and keeping the theme as well as enfold up to date might help a lot ;)
Best regards,
KriesiHey!
If there are 4 plugins that are causing the issue, its almost always a memory problem. although 128mb should easily be enough, it might be that due to a very large number of pages the memory is exhausted nevertheless.
Getting to know the error message from a log or on screen might tell us if thats the case. You can also try to set the memory limit to an absurd high amount like 1024mb to test this theory :)
Best regards,
KriesiHello Tony
First of all: threatening me or my support team is by no means an appropriate way to try to move this issue forward. You obviously want to be treated in a polite manner and the same is true for everyone of us. I know that debugging problems can be annoying but its no reason to be harsh or to try to bully us.
You know, its impossible for us to tell you which of the 40.000 WordPress plugins found in the WordPress repository work fine and which do not. We obviously can’t test all of them. It’s especially hard if we encounter an issue for the first time and this is the case here. Out of the 60.000 customers we have had no one ever reported the page overview site going blank.
In such cases it is necessary for us to deactivate the plugins one by one to see if the problem is caused by the theme, by a plugin in conjunction with the theme, by a server issue, etc
You stated you already have disabled all the plugins and the problem still persists. If thats the case there is a good chance that there is some kind of server limitation that is causing the issue. Since a white screen almost always throws a fatal php error the next step for you is to tell us which error exactly that is. You should be able to see this either in one of your servers error log files (depending on how your error logging is configured) or you can configure WordPress to display errors directly on screen (this might even be better since we can take a look at it ourself and see if the error changes if other plugins are activated/deactivated)
Which brings me to the last question: are we allowed to enable/disable the plugins in your testing environment to see if that changes something?
Best regards
KriesiPS: it seems we posted at the same time. we will see what we can do by enabling/disabling plugins, please let us know about the PHP error that is caused on this page

Hey Jody!
Could you let us know which website the theme was used on?
Also if you have added any API keys to the backend of the theme for auto updates you need to change those API keys in your themeforest backend.Other than that thanks for the notification and once you have posted the website in question you are free to use the theme on another site ;)
Best regards,
KriesiHi Eric!
I can see what you mean. The image element does not use the same hover effect as other parts of the theme but I guess its true that this is a little confusing and probably something that we can add with one of the next versions of the theme.
Meanwhile, if the hover effect is important to you, you can remove the template builder image element and instead add a text element and embed an image the default wordpress way. that would allow you to display an image with the default hover effect.
Another option would be to use an easy slider element and only add one image, then activate the “link to lightbox” option
Regards,
KriesiHey Eric!
I checked your backend and the images are uploaded with a size of 320 * 240px which is what the lightbox shows. If you want to display bigger images you need to upload larger versions as well. The theme won’t blow up small images in your lightbox, because it would just be a pixelated mess if you increase a 320*240px to something that is 3 to 4 times as big :)
Make sure to upload images with at least 1000px width and height, then set the gallery to display a smaller cropped version in the preview. The lightbox will automatically show the larger version
Cheers!
KriesiHey Whitney!
Please update the theme to the latest version (3.2.2). That should fix any issues you are currently experiencing :)
To update to the latest version follow the instructions here:

Cheers!

Would you mind posting us your access data to the backend as a private reply so we can try to reproduce the issue?
Thanks!Best regards,
KriesiBTW: site looks great already :)

Hi!
I have answered on themeforest, the issue will be fixed with the next update, will close this for now.
Regards,
KriesiHi vivant!
the only way to that would be with the help of the wordpress uploader. it would upload all pages and posts and you could delete those you dont like. your settings in your backend at enfold->theme options wont be affected.
The demo files are located in the theme folder at enfold/includes/admin/demo_files/startup.xml
Cheers!
KriesiHey!
I see that there is a lot of confusion in this thread and a lot of it is probably coming from the fact that the site is hebrew and also in Right to Left direction. Truth to be told, I was not able to do a lot in there myself because everything is so foreign that I don’t even know where to look.
It might be necessary for the sake of debugging to use a plugin that allows language switching on a per user base so we can navigate trough the backend with at least somewhat of a clue what is going on there. A plugin like this might help: https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-language-switch/
Or alternatively you might want to post a step by step instruction on how to reproduce the problem and if we can reproduce it we will of course fix it. this means telling us exactly how to set up the post, which content to add, which post settings like post format etc
Cheers!
KriesiHey!
I am not allowed to redistribute those files but you can download them for free here and build your very own compositions: http://graphicburger.com/designer-desk-essentials/
Hope this helps, regards,
KriesiJune 2, 2015 at 5:23 pm in reply to: Enfold: Images are displaying smaller than full size. Even when uploaded at full #453228Hi summerswim!
If you want to display a single image as full size image I would recommend to place it within a “fullwidth slideshow” element – this way the section will stretch accross the whole screen. default columns, as used in your example are always limited to the default content width of your site :)
Best regards,
KriesiHey!
Its actually a safari issue that we are aware of. We are currently gathering infos from various users and once we have a solution we will include it in the next update :)
Thanks for your patience on this one, it actually seems to be a tricky problem that might be caused by the macs energy saving…
Hi curtdonohue!
Its ok to use the video on any site using Enfold ;)
Best regards,
KriesiHi Mark!
The url to your installation is missing ;)
Please post that as well ;DCheers!
KriesiGot it, thanks.
the problem is only caused when “Automated Schema.org HTML Markup” is disabled in the backend at enfold->theme options. Thats why I wasn’t able to reproduce it :)
I am currently uploading the update and it should be available within the next hours once its approved by themeforest.
Cheers!
KriesiHey!
would you mind describing the steps I need to take to reproduce this?
Cheers!
KriesiHey!
the problem you are encountering is caused by the image not being large enough. On a big screen the section is larger than the image and therefore you see the grey background. If you either use an image with larger dimensions or set the image to “stretch to fit” you wont see the grey background: https://www.dropbox.com/s/a45oiqqawcg26l5/Screenshot%202015-04-30%2010.31.20.png?dl=0
Cheers!
KriesiHi!
I am afraid I have no reports (neither positive nor negative) that tell me which framework would be more suited for the job. You should probably make sure that the our grid and base.css files dont use similar class names or ids as the framework you are choosing. Thats probably the most important thing to consider when using 2 css frameworks in one project :)
Regards,
KriesiHi!
Just wanted to let you know that I have not forgotten the issue but need more data and users with the problem to get to a solution :)
Stil investigating…
