Enfold will put a “sale” badge on the product when the item is on sale. Is there a way to inject a different message other than the on sale text? Can you point me toward where that badge is created in the code so I can take it the rest of the way?
Thanks!

Ok thanks. I’ll give it a shot.
August 7, 2020 at 10:02 pm in reply to: Remove "Advanced Layout Builder" text from page list and admin bar #1236143Yes, sorry for being unclear. The snippet that removes the classic editor/advanced layout builder text from the All Pages paged worked. The other snippet that should remove the text from the admin bar didn’t work at first but after deleting Enfold and reuploading it (for unrelated reasons) the text is gone from the admin bar. Thanks for your help.
August 7, 2020 at 6:39 pm in reply to: Remove "Advanced Layout Builder" text from page list and admin bar #1236092Awesome! Thanks, Victoria. I searched but couldn’t find the answer. The other snippet in that post for disabling it in the Admin Bar didn’t have any effect. If it matters, I have Use Classic Editor selected in Theme Options.
Hi, Mike. Thanks for the link and the offer to help. I know how to add social icons using that method. I’m just surprised that Yelp, which is has a huge customer base (in the US anyway), hasn’t been added after at least five years. Virtually every client I’ve built a site for wants a Yelp link.
Aside from that, this issue came up for me because of the recent issue where social media icons disappear from the header. The solution provided by a user and recommended by at least one moderator only covers icons that are built in. I had to spend time figuring out how to make it work with the custom Yelp icon I had added for the client in question. It was a bit of a pain and made me wonder how Yelp could still be overlooked after all this time.
Anyway, thanks for your help.
I haven’t because, as much as possible, I’d like to try to let your system manage things. Is there some a way to force the one block to load on every page? Can you point me toward any code that might give me a hint at how to do it?
Ismael, you said “Some of the elements have to be disabled manually because they are still use by other elements or templates in the site.” Can you point us toward how to manually disable a builder block? Or, in my case, how to enable one when “Load only used elements” is selected? I’m using a block in a custom widget area in the header and the icon list in the widget doesn’t work when I have the “Disable Template Builder Elements” set to “Load only used elements”.
Thanks!
KevinOkay, thanks. See the private content…
Thanks for your reply. That solution didn’t work. Also the lightbox modal window option is turned on and the console is clear of any javascript errors.
What else can we try?
March 5, 2019 at 10:49 pm in reply to: WooCommerce, Enfold, Shortcodes and after_theme_setup #1075133@mike, this issue appears to be closed for me but it looks like at least one other people is having similar problems. Thanks!
March 4, 2019 at 9:36 pm in reply to: WooCommerce, Enfold, Shortcodes and after_theme_setup #1074527This seams to have solved the problem. But can you give me an explanation for what happened? Will this patch be added to the next release of the theme? Thanks!
Also, you mentioned a private content link above. There’s no link in the discussion thread. I received it in email, though, when you sent it to @dermachiel.
July 19, 2018 at 10:00 am in reply to: Partner/logo element not showing navigation (arrows or dots) #987318Gah!! I gave you the wrong URL with the login info. The correct URL of the site is in the original post. I just put it in private content of this message. Sorry/thanks.
July 18, 2018 at 3:55 pm in reply to: Partner/logo element not showing navigation (arrows or dots) #987062I just reset the password to the one above. No idea why it would have stopped working. Please try again.
Every performance option is disabled or unchecked and I still have the issue.
July 17, 2018 at 8:47 pm in reply to: Partner/logo element not showing navigation (arrows or dots) #986630What does “disable performance and enable it” mean? Are you talking about under theme options? There’s no general “performance” option that I can find anywhere; on theme options or otherwise. Please clarify.
Thanks!
KevinHere are instructions on removing the backlink: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/footer/#copyrights-info
Good luck!

Hi, Peter. I just wanted to be clear that I don’t need support on this issue. I just wanted to post a how-to on this to help other visitors.
Thanks!
Hey, Jordan. Before we go that route, I guess I want to go back to my initial question. Is there a filter/action I can use to insert something into the closing of the menu and before the closing </div> right after it? This is the best solution. I really don’t want to have to style a bunch of stuff and have to test it across all the various devices and browsers if I could just drop it into the place I actually want it.
Thanks!
That makes the social media icons disappear since they are inside #header_meta.

Thanks!
Thanks, Jordan. That’s close but not quite it. Doing this adds a band above the menu bar and pushes the menu bar down. The icons appear in approximately the right place but the overall menu bar doesn’t. I’d still like the menu bar to be flush with the top of the window.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
The issue is that the instructions (linked above) don’t work for adding a widget area next to the logo if the header is set to “Logo Center, Menu Above”. I was able to find another hook in the theme to make it work, though. I used “ava_before_bottom_main_menu” instead of “ava_after_main_menu” as your instructions suggested.
Thanks!
June 8, 2018 at 1:25 am in reply to: Contact Form Submission not sending to email address of website domain #969899This is an issue with the mail system not trusting the web server to send email for that domain. The easiest thing to do is set up a mailgun.com account (free for under 10K emails/month but requires a credit card on file) and install the Mailgun for WordPress plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/mailgun/). You’ll have to have access to the DNS settings for their domain.
Also, if you’re using Gravity Forms, I would suggest that you set up the form itself to send each notification from the same email address you set up in the Mailgun plugin.
This has solved 100% of my email delivery issues. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
Hi, indpro. If you’re interested, send email at kevinm [at] buenacg [dot] com and we can talk about what you need. No pressure though.
Thanks!
At this point you’ll have to post a link to your site. I’m not a moderator, though, so you’d have to post it in view of everyone. Or post it in private content and one of the mods can check it out.
Sorry to hear about your predicament. I don’t know of any way to get around it. But the best response to customers who don’t want to set up a Google API account is that you’ll be happy to remove the Google map from the site. This is a change Google made and they have to roll with it if they want to continue using their service. Or they could pay you or someone to draw a custom map for them in Illustrator, for example. Or they can pay you for your time to figure out how to embed from Bing or something. In the end, a credit card on file is the cheapest solution for them.
That’s my two cents, anyway. Good luck!
June 2, 2018 at 12:36 am in reply to: Font Awesome from maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com – where to disable? #965619This is an issue with WordPress, not with Enfold. I searched Google for “wordpress disable font awesome” and this is the first result:
https://technumero.com/remove-font-awesome-from-wordpress-theme/
Give this or one of the other solutions a try and let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
I found this by googling “enfold stop masonry animation”. Have you tried it?
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/how-can-i-disable-the-masonary-gallery-portfolio-animation/
Hi, indpro. This is definitely something you’d have to hire a developer to look at. It would be next impossible to diagnose and resolve without having access to the server and a login for WordPress. I’m a PHP/WordPress developer and I’d be happy to help but I’m not sure I’m allowed to solicit for work here. If you’re interested, though, reply back and we’ll see if one of the moderators gives us the thumbs up to work together.
