when you hover over the image, the little hand appears signifying it is a link. Then if clicked it goes to a 404 page (my 404 page has Lynell Richie”hello”)ok- this “Backupnow” is the freshly restored files from prior to the time of the troubleshooting problems.
thanks- I’m going to be cautious this time. Here is what I got back from Bluehost tech support:
“Thank you for contacting customer support, I’m following up on the issues with your account. I have provided a copy of your public_html and mysql contents within the BackupNow folder in your home directory. You should be able to perform a manual restoration of your web files through there.”
Is this out of scope? or can someone take a look. I don;t want to touch it. Right now- nothing is showing up.
Unfortunately, I am my “developer”. I followed the directions above. right now I am yet again, trying to get it restored from Tier2 tech support at bluehost. The first problem was found in the functions.php as stated above. Hopefully, the restore will work. thanks
I don’t really know what to remove besides the file called “templates2”. Or should I ask –what should be in there?
Could the Bluehost people have done that? I haven’t even been in this folder to know enough about dragging files in there. help!update- i am having the bluehost tech people look into it

I have no idea what is going on. I had bluehost restore the site a few days ago-I just got the site restored but can’t access it.
The file I found to have a problem (when I went via Peter’s instructions) was functions.php” you can simply comment out the enqueue code in functions.php.”

No- not working, I got the child theme in place but I am having the same problem that started all of this.
I can get to the backend, but the front end just spins and spins. I can see anything.

but the original problem is still there with the spinning loading icon.
Back to square one problem.
and my plugins are gone. Should I do another restore from bluehost??Thanks- I know the parent theme is updated. I can’t get the child theme to show up so I can activate it. I see it in my file manager but not in the ENFOLD -> APPEARANCE -> THEMES area so that I can activate it. I need my customization back.
Yeah- it is there in the file manager.
I put it in the folder after bluehost moved it.

ok- I was told the site is back but I need to update my theme. Last time I tried, I had some issues. Can someone please update this for me and get it up and running?
it is still being restored. right now bluehost is checking into evrything. They said it is a problem with my theme.
yeah- it was following the instructions that made it break, but I am not experienced enough to re-customize the avia.js file
