Hi Mike,
great, that works.
Thanks a lot for your support!
Best regards,
VeraHi Mike,
thanks for your reply.
On desktop it works fine. There the client wants to have the submenu stick to the bottom.
On mobile versions the submenu should follow after the tab section. And here you have to scroll now which wasn’t the case before changing the js in order to stop swiping the tab sections.
I achieved this with the code@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { .untermenu { width:100%; position: relative !important; } }
So: the issue only affects mobile versions. Maybe I forgot to say that? Sorry if I lost the track a bit over the Christmas break.
Best regards,
VeraHi Mike,
thanks for your reply. It’s okay if the content is public.
I try to specify the issue (sorry for sometimes not being clear enough right away due to lack of the right words):
There is an element after the tab section (submenu KULTUR/BILDUNG) and you have to scroll down quiet a while to reach it because the height of the whole tab section area corresponds to the heigth of the content of the tab “TEXT”. In the backend you can choose “Automatische Anpassung an den Inhalt” which I did. With the new js-file from pastebin this seems to be not working anymore.
Best regards,
VeraHi,
this didn’t work right away but after adding some classes it works now for the intended screen sizes.
Only under iOs I don’t get it work.
Thanks for help.
Best regards,
VeraHi,
okay that stops the swiping.
The only thing: now the height of the whole tab section is not adaptable anymore. It corresponds to the highest tab.
Can you help me to adjust this?Best regards,
VeraHi,
I also want to stop the swiping from one tab section to another so that swiping only triggers the slideshow (on mobile).
I followed the steps above. On the iPad it stopped the tab-swiping but on the mobile phone the swiping from one tab section to another is still active.
Do I have to comment out the line that Ygit mentions above in reply #1336201? If so what number has the line?Thank’s for help.
Best regards,
VeraHi Mike,
yes for my part you can close it.
Best regards,
VeraHi Ismael,
okay, that matches my observation. Only strange that Lighthouse doesn’t recognize this. So giants (Google) aren’t without fail? ;-)
Best regards,
VeraHi Ismael,
thank you for your reply. Sorry for the image. Now I only managed to set a link to imgur but not to make the image visible in the text field. Can you tell me the right way to do so? I had the same problem with dropbox.
In the private content you find a link to the test version of the website.
Best regards,
VeraHi Mike,
great, that works.
Thank you very much!
Best regards,
VeraHi Mike,
your second point is what I’m aiming at. The search icon should only be available in the burger menu (because the site only uses the burger menu).
Best regards,
VeraHi Mike,
great.
The only detail: I have now two search icons. One next to the hamburger icon and the other in the mobile menu (because the desktop version of the website has a navigation with mobile menu).
Thank you for little extra help.Best regards,
VeraHi Ismael,
I would like to put the search function with the search icon (as your standard search function looks like) into the mobile menu as first item of the list.
Your code above sets the words “search here“ at the right place. Can you help me with changing this into the search icon with the search function?
Thank you.
Best regards,
VeraHi Mike,
great, that works.
Thanks a lot.

Hi Mike,
I used your code to put a social icon in the hamburger menu.
It works, the only thing in my case is: the social icon keeps also next to the right of the hamburger icon and pushes the hamburger icon to the left (its white so you have to hover a bit to see it)
Can you help me with that?

VeraOctober 20, 2022 at 3:57 pm in reply to: automatic download of video thumbnails to local folder #1369615Yes I totally agree, that would be great because it saves a lot of time not creating all those preview images by yourself.
But my question is: even if you have the thumbnails stored locally you need the consent banner like you have on your website to advise the user that you provide services to a “Drittland” on your page, aren’t you?
So my thought was to combine the overlay of the video thumbnail with a text and a link to the GDPR declaration to inform the user what will happen when he clicks on the play button (like borlab can provide as this page explains ? https://frame-for-business.de/blog/vimeo-videos-dsgvo-konform-einbinden/).
Aim: to avoid the necessity of a consent banner at all on entering the page.

VeraOctober 20, 2022 at 12:04 pm in reply to: automatic download of video thumbnails to local folder #1369576Hi,
in order to show videos compliant to GDPR: is it possible to show in the overlay of a self hosted video thumbnail a text and link to the GDPR declaration?
As I understand the GDPR, a user must be informed what is happening when he klicks on the video. So the only fact that the connection to YouTube or Vimeo only starts by clicking is not sufficient? As I suppose neither a caption under the video with a link to the GDPR declaration?
I know you can’t give legal advice but I would appreciate your view concerning this tricky and current matter.

VeraHi Ygit,
great, that works.
Thanks a lot for your support!Best regards,
VeraHi Ismael,
thanks for your quick reply.
I now turned of all plugins, took off all the quick css (also no custom css) and updated to the last version of Enfold but nothing changed. The flicker also appears on the demo site of Enfold. For example when you press the icon hamburger menu a kind of grey rectangular is seen around it. On a desktop with a little browser window it doesn’t show. May be that helps to identify the origin?
Best regards,
VeraOh thank you. I’ll try that immediately.
The support here is really extraordinary!!
Best regards,
VeraHi Guenni007,
great, that works fine.
And thank you for mentioning the custom.css: I tested this here because I want to use it on an other website with more customizing where the Quick CSS gets a bit crowded. Do you recommend an other method in case there is more adapted CSS?
Best regards,
VeraHi Guenni007,
sorry, I didn’t realize that you aren’t a team member. The page is: https://katjaroemer.de/profil/

VeraHi Guenni007,
thank you for the code, but it has no effect either.

VeraHi Rikard,
here come the details.
Best regards,
VeraHi Rikard,
thanks for the code. Unfortunately it doesn’t change the colors. I cleared the cache.
Best regards,
VeraHi Rikard,
sorry for being confusing. Now the link shows the the page where I’d like to change the navigation color and the logo image for the transparent header.

Hi Rikard,
thank you for the reply. If you could help with that it would be great.
If the solution is: change the colours of the navigation for a “transparent header” for a specific page I would have to change the logo here too.Best regards,
VeraHi Rikard,
thank you for your fast reply.
The problem is I need two different colour settings for the navigation with transparent headers.
Page 1: transparent header with text of navigation in grey
Page 2: transparent header with text of navigation in white
Maybe I should change the navigation colour with a class where it’s needed? Thank you for your suggestion.Bets regards,
VeraHi Mike,
fantastic. Thank you very much for your great help.
