Thanks Ismael… I’ll look into those.

Hi Ismael,
Thanks for trying. Unfortunately it didn’t work, created some additional lines, spacing errors etc.
It’s ok, I don’t need it that badly. Visually it just might be something you suggest to Kriesi to adjust when he has some time. It does look a bit odd that it’s cut off on one side and the other goes all the way to the vertical edge. It sounds like it needs to be adjusted deeper in the coding of the site than it’s worth investing in right now.
Cheers,
– John
Nick,
Thanks for the post. I tried what you mentioned and the results are pretty far apart in style. I put a couple questions on the screen shot.

Thanks,

Awesome…Thank you! Exactly what I needed.

I was thinking about this and specifically I’d like to end the sidebar once it hit’s a color section and not continue anymore beyond that point. I like when the colored section touches the footer and currently it puts sidebar space in there.
To diagram out what I want to accomplish:
Header / Menu
colored section (page title etc)
sidebar section (main page content)
colored section(s) (containing graphics or messaging, call to action button etc.)
Footer
Is this possible?
Ismael is correct. That’s how I did it.
Thanks,
– John
Ismael, thank you!
You’re right adding another category made them come back.
Thank you
Not sure what you mean by “make sure the selection that is set to display the blog has all yoru categories selected.” Doesn’t it just show all the latest blog articles regardless?

Thanks for the help!
– John
Bingo, that did it.
Thanks Ismael.
Here, i’ve uploaded my custom.css. I don’t think there’s anything in here that would conflict, but you’re welcome to take a look at it.
I believe you, unfortunately the code isn’t doing anything :( Not sure what to do. I’ve tried putting it both in my custom.css and the Quick CSS. No change either way
:( didn’t work. I also added the beginning bracket after the A, so it’s not that either.
Ismael,
Unfortunatley that didn’t work either. Any other thoughts?
Just put up our site on Thursday. http://www.tfgsearch.com
I really enjoyed putting this together and the support team here rocks! Thanks guys!!!

I don’t have any side bars anymore, so it’s not an issue. Thanks though.

Hi Ismael… unfortunately that code is working. I’ve got my site up and running so you can view it directly:
For example when you come to the site, I’d like the first menu option “welcome” to be bold / black. Then congruently for each page that’s active that page would be bold / black.
Hope that makes sense for what I’m trying to do.
– John
Thanks Peter… I’ve got everything working great but the active states. IF thats what it’s called. When your on the page, I want that menu item only to be bold.
– John
I’ve managed to change the font of external fonts with this:
code { font-family: sans-serif !important; font-weight: 600; color: #444;}
does this seem like the right way to do it?
– John
You da man
Solved this…I just pasted the google code into layersliders and it worked great.
Oh that’s perfect, thank you!
separate note —
I can’t get the hover state to work properly. I tried the following cods and it didn’t do anything:
hover state:
#top .main_menu .menu li ul a:hover {
active state:
#top .main_menu .menu li ul a:active {
Thanks bud
Not using the mega-menu… the header i’m using is the one with the navigation on the bottom logo
that’s awesome Ismael. Thanks bud
Ismael,
the sub menu doesn’t seem to do anything.
– John
It still happens for me, but it’s kind of random to pinpoint. If I had to go off my observation, I’d say It has to do with copying a content block or perhaps a copy of that copy. Fresh blocks that get pulled down from the top toolbar don’t seem to have this issue.
I also had another thread about images not lining up vertically. Again this seemed to occur when I tried to be efficient and copy the original block and then again. It would start to stagger out of line after that second copy.
I’m fairly confident there’s a bug or something resulting from the block copying option.
Hope that helps.

Thanks Dude.
May 12, 2013 at 4:50 am in reply to: Possible to right justify the menu when it's below the logo? #118244Nick,
Thank you very much. That’s an interesting approach. You went well above duty on that one. I didn’t realize it was so difficult to adjust. I thought it was just the height of the padding and right frame set to 1 px. I’ll dive deeper and try and find something that looks great using a border image using your suggestions.
If you can think of any other tough questions I should ask, just let me know :)
Cheers,
– John
May 12, 2013 at 4:43 am in reply to: Is there a text styling example page on the Enfold website? #118613There’s no shortcodes page that demonstraits those specific elements on the sample site on Themeforest? I didn’t see one. I really don’t want to clutter up my site with pictures, posts comments etc. with an import. That’s a major hassle. Is there any other way I can explore the short codes? Is there a CSS file or something that has the codes listed in the theme files?
