As for why the image crops, it’s just to ensure that the images are all the same size and maintains proper aspect realistically. It give the best aesthetic display for users.

I looked into this and tried a few JS approaches, but couldn’t get it to work. This is because there is really nothing connecting the two elements, class or id wise. They would need to share some kind of id or class in order to remove one when the other is displayed.

You can try and make the menu collapse earlier.

Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:

@media only screen and (max-width: 1024px) {
  nav.main_menu {
    display: block !important;
  }
  #avia-menu .menu-item {
    display: none;
  }
  .av-burger-menu-main.menu-item-avia-special {
    display: block;
  }
}

Change the value 1024 to the pixel value of your choice.
