The caption comes up when you hover over the image, which is what I want. Then the tooltip comes up and hovers over the caption, with the same text in it, obscuring the caption. So that is a problem, but apparently the only thing to do about it is to omit the caption. I was hoping to be able to hide or move the tooltip so it would not obscure the caption.
OK, thank you. Will take a look at that. It covers up the text that IS from the theme with a duplicate of the text, so I wish I could just move it over.
The site is not live anywhere at the moment, so I can’t provide a link. However, the tooltip I am referring to is the same as the one that pops up on this page when I roll over your profile photo with the text “View Rikard’s profile.” (I am using Safari). Is there a way to move that or hide it? In the masonry gallery, it obscures the figcaption text that appears on hover, which I do want people to be able to read instead of the tooltip text. Thank you.
Unfortunately the site is only on my local machine at the moment. However, I am just wondering if there is somewhere in the CSS (or elsewhere) where the size that it shrinks to can be changed so it does not shrink as much. Thank you!

April 13, 2016 at 5:38 am in reply to: Post: The checkboxes for selecting type are missing (Image, Video, etc) #612403I’ve updated to Enfold 3.5.2 and the checkboxes for selecting post type are style not there. Were they removed? Or moved?
OK, I figured it out. On each page, under the Layout section in the sidebar (on the back end), the custom sidebar that was created with Simple Page Sidebars needs to be selected, as it had reverted back to the default sidebar. There is also a separate Sidebar section (added by the Simple Page Sidebars) where the sidebar also needs to be chosen, and I was only choosing it there and not in the Layout section. I think the Simple Page Sidebars plug-in update caused this.
With the latest update everything works now. Thank you!
I followed the post as you suggested, but it didn’t make complete sense to me, as I don’t know php. However, I commented out line #1310 in the function-set-avia-frontend.php file and was able to get rid of the Kreisi link that way. I now have a link to my own site, which seems to be happening automatically, as I did not specify that anywhere. I don’t understand the rest of the instructions and was not able to insert any of my own text or include an auto updating year. Also, I don’t want to link to my own site (or anywhere else). If people are already on my site, they don’t need to link to it. How do I replace the “Copyright – Site Name” text and link with other unlinked text, as well as how do I add the auto updating year to the right of the copyright symbol?
Thank you!
Thank you! That worked (once I cleared my cache).
I have a similar problem with images in the Blog section in IE8. They are distorted to very tall and skinny. Could you be more specific about what width and height attributes to remove?
Will the above code modifications move the sidebar to the top ONLY on mobile devices? I don’t want to move it on desktop or tablet sizes, but unless I am missing something, it looks like the code would move it on all screen sizes.
OK, your CSS works too, and is simpler, so I am using yours now. Thank you.
I actually just fixed it using this CSS:
body#top.tribe-filter-live #socket .container { padding: 35px 0 15px; }
I’ll try your CSS to just to see if it also works.
Thank you.
I’m sorry, but that isn’t working for me. I also don’t see the underline on the blog grid page when I view the Enfold demo, though I have tried it in several browsers.
When I make a page a child of another, the page title shows up in the sidebar above the photo. I wonder if the problem is because I am using the Simple Sidebars and Random Content plugins to make the different sidebars, in order to avoid having the same sidebar throughout my entire site.
The parent page change didn’t do anything, unfortunately. I noticed it doesn’t work on the Efold Demo either, when you go to a sub-page, the rule doesn’t show on the current page when it’s not the top-level page.
Does anyone know how to change that behavior, so the rule shows under the main nav when one of it’s sub-pages is the current one? So for example, the rule would show under “Programs & Curriculum” when any of it’s pages listed in the sidebar menu are the current page.
Here’s the link to the site: http://69.195.124.95/~threeced/curriculum-programs-overview/
Actually I don’t mean the border that goes all across the bottom of the header, I meant the short rules that appear under the main menu navigation items when you hover, and remain on the first page, but not on any of the pages that are in that section. Here is a link to the page:
http://69.195.124.95/~threeced/curriculum-programs-overview/ click on the pages in the left nav and then look at the main nav in the header to see what I mean. I am using Simple Page Sidebars to make different sidebar menus for different sections. Maybe that is the problem?
Thanks! I’ll try it.
