After updating WordPress to 4.2.2, and updating Enfold to 3.2.3, my sidebars all have the Sidebar Pages widget showing the list of pages in my sidebars instead of my custom sidebars. I am using Simple Page Sidebars plugin along with the Random Content plugin to create custom menus, and each page has the correct custom menu chosen rather than the default sidebar. Every time I update Enfold my custom sidebars get replaced with the list of Sidebar Pages. There is nothing in the “Display Everywhere” widget. If I put an empty text widget into the Display Everywhere widget the Sidebar Pages disappear, but then I can’t get the Simple Page Sidebars to show so the sidebars are empty. The Sidebar Pages widget will not drag to the inactive area. How do I fix this?

    Hi jh100!

Our support for third party plugins is limited but send us a temporary admin login and we’ll have a look. You can post the details here as a private reply.

OK, I figured it out. On each page, under the Layout section in the sidebar (on the back end), the custom sidebar that was created with Simple Page Sidebars needs to be selected, as it had reverted back to the default sidebar. There is also a separate Sidebar section (added by the Simple Page Sidebars) where the sidebar also needs to be chosen, and I was only choosing it there and not in the Layout section. I think the Simple Page Sidebars plug-in update caused this.
