Hey guys. I’ve been using Enfold for a little over a year. After many tweaks and customizations with assistance from the fantastic support Kriesi team, I have created a website I am proud to say is mine.
The beauty with Enfold is how much you can with it, while maintaining a simplistic and naturally flowing website.
Here is my website here: http://www.jaredburnettphoto.com .
Comments and suggestions are welcome! Thank you Kriesi team!
Thanks,
JaredLiterally perfect! Thank you so much. Do you guys have a donation page or anything? Your support has been above and beyond.
So there is no code or css that I can use to push the text down on a “single post” for when the user reads the full post entry to make room for the top social icons?
That fixed number 2 from above perfectly.
I just re-cleared all the cache so maybe it will work for you now.
1.If it cannot be done with code, putting 2 blank lines below makes it look near perfectly aligned on desktop and mobile. That would at least hold me over till you release an update with it native. It seems like every update you guys read my mind with cool features to add. haha
We’re close.
1. The only thing is that it didn’t push the top content down and it all overlaps. http://www.jaredburnettphoto.com/2014/04/03/devil-wears-prada-live-take-action-tour-winter-2014-pt-1photo-blog/ Is there anything else that can be added to get the text pushed down?
2. On a lesser note, Can the social icons be hidden until you get on that specific post? So not show on the blog page but show when the reader clicks on the blog and reads the full entry?
Thanks,
That got it pretty close, to take it down just slightly do I use “top: -5%” ?
Yes it is fixed now. However my social icons on mobile went way up and to the left. You can see the very bottom at the top of the screen on a mobile device.
That did it! The only thing left is the social icons on mobile don’t appear on the homepage unless you scroll down (probably because of the transparency from the desktop version is applying itself on mobile.
Also the social icons still seem far down and too far to the the right on mobile.
Josue, for a white dotted line between the menu and the social icons on a transparent header would the code be this…?
.av_header_transparency {
border-right: 1px dashed white;
padding-right: 20px;
}Hey,
I started tinkering around on my server and I uploaded via ftp a enfold theme but I renamed the folder on the server to enfold1. Everything seems to be responsive.
Before renaming the file, I had completely removed enfold from the themes folder but every time i uploaded it would revert back to the settings.
So the way it is now with an additional enfold on my server named enfold1 works. Is there anything wrong with this or will I have issues in the future updating etc.? Is there a cleaner way to do this?
the website is http://www.jaredburnettphoto.com
Thanks Josue.
I don’t know if it helps your investigation, but it looks like the 2 new updates have not helped the shrinking issue.
I look forward to what you find.
Thanks.
1. If you are referring to Google Pagespeed, it should be disabled now. It looks like you disabled some other stuff to test. Whatever else you need me to do, please let me know.
2. It looks like everything eventually resolved itself with the transparency except for the social icons. They have not turned white. They look to be the same color as when there is a sold color header background. It would be nice to have those be white when transparent and then turn back into the normal color when resized on scroll just like the enfold demo site.
3. That makes a lot of sense now. Thanks.
Any suggestions?

Last Question: How do I put a dotted line between the search button and social icons in the header on a desktop? (I assume the menu and social icons align to leave space for the line)
that looks so much better! Can I make the icons a little bigger?
What are the tags for the logo and menu button?
I assume the alignment code is the same. I can play with the alignment to center up logo better on mobile as well.
Correct Josue. The goal is to get them up in the middle to make it look like they are on the same row as the logo and menu. Right now they look really far down.
Yigit,
I flushed the plugins.
Also, here is the link to the custom code I have applied http://pastebin.com/QW7qfs5G
I adjusted the value to -1 and then tried -60 and I haven’t seen any difference clearing all caches after adjustments.
I’m not sure what code made it change to that, but I would like it all one line. So I guess the social icons need to be pushed up to be even with the logo and menu button.
Any ideas on how to push items left?
Almost seems like my logo needs to be smaller or pushed to the side. I have the recommended 340×156 logo dimensions. If the icons were centered across the screen they would overlap the logo on the left.
Ok I removed the code, cleared the cache, added it again, cleared the cache, and it’s working now.
The alignment is off. It looks like it may need to be more centered. The logo may be pushing it lover into the menu button. If I turn my phone sideways and get landscape mode it still looks a little off center.
Applied the Quick CSS, cleared the cache, and I don’t see a difference.
That did the trick thanks!
I entered the code into the quick css. cleared the cache. Gave it a few hours and tried on a bunch of different devices it doesn’t look like that fixed it.
