Hi, Rikard …
So, how exactly would I go about replicating the top bar? Would I need to do a lot of CSS customization? I’m not an expert at this, so if you could tell me how this can be done, it would be helpful.
Thanks
kat.So, Jordan, maybe I’m being completely dense about this, but how would disabling the plugins allow me to find the Facebook pixel??? Are you saying that a plugin would essentially “hide” or erase the FB pixel code when I’m searching for it? My apologies if I’m not understanding what’s happening here, but I know for a fact that the FB pixel code is somewhere on the website, I’m just trying to find where it’s inserted. How does disabling the plugins assist me in finding the code?
*** ALSO *** Let’s say I simply cannot find the code. Is there a way I can insert the FB pixel code on the child theme to essentially “override” the hidden FB code? Doesn’t the code on the child theme essentially lay “on top” of the core theme? Would that work?
Thanks again for your assistance.
Hi there …
I’ve checked all the “usual” suspects, including header.php, footer.php and functions.php files, both in the regular enfold file as well as the child theme folder, and the facebook pixel code is simply not there. I know for a fact it is *somewhere* – I’ve even gone so far as to download all the files under wp-content and doing a content search for the word “pixel” as well as the particular unique code that facebook assigns, but nothing shows up! Please help – I need to change this code to a new one as soon as possible.
If you can, give me a list of other possible locations (under wp-admin or wp-includes???), or if there is some way to discover how the code is being inserted into the website, any hints or ideas are welcome, I’m desperate at this point!
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer.

September 22, 2018 at 6:25 pm in reply to: Problem Updating Enfold: "Download failed. Problem downloading theme" #1013109lhoy – have you tried uploading it via FTP? That may be your only option at this point in time until the envato api is updated.
September 21, 2018 at 7:22 pm in reply to: Problem Updating Enfold: "Download failed. Problem downloading theme" #1012877Yes, the FTP method does work correctly, it’s obviously not as quick as the regular method, however. Good luck!

I went ahead and uploaded the new theme via ftp for now.
Thanks.
September 20, 2018 at 3:31 pm in reply to: Problem Updating Enfold: "Download failed. Problem downloading theme" #1012357Hi, Peter …
Thanks for the clarification on the updated github file. Just updated it on my server and I’m experiencing the exact same warning/error messages. Please advise.
September 20, 2018 at 2:30 pm in reply to: Problem Updating Enfold: "Download failed. Problem downloading theme" #1012329Hi, Gunter …
Perhaps there’s a misunderstanding here, but many of us in this thread have already updated the enfold/framework/php/auto-updates/class-pixelentity-theme-update.php file with the one posted on github and are still getting these errors/warnings. I’m having other issues that I’m hoping will be resolved with the update to 4.4.1, but since I can’t update I’m in a bit of a holding pattern. I look forward to the new API so that my issues can be resolved asap.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
