Yea, need help with this too.
Never mind, I got this all worked out.
Thanks!
Hi!
This has been an ongoing issue for over a year. Why wouldn’t Enfold have this handled by now?
I love ya’ll, but I’ve tried everything and I can’t ask you guys to go fix 20 plus sites.
I have php 7.1, Enfold 6.4.2 or whatever came out 4 days ago and the latest wordpress all installed.
Please find a fix for this soon. I’ve wasted a couple of hours on this trying to get it to work.
Thanks
Update. I can’t get the other site to work at all, still getting the “invalid data” warning.
The 1st site is back to saying when I’m logged in – above the feed “invalid data” warning again too.
Sure wish this would work, I’ve spent hours trying to get this to work, and I don’t think ya’ll are going to want to go to 20 of my sites to fix it.
Thanks!
I fixed it by updating my php to 7.1, installing the latest Enfold theme from a couple days ago 4.6.2, then waited 30 minutes for the updated php version to kick in and then went back to the widget to “reset” it by selecting to get photos, etc. from the cache on my server, saved then went back and selected directly from instagram and saved.
HOWEVER, when I’m logged in, above the feed it still gives the “invalid data warning….” but after another 15 – 45 minutes and that disappeared too.
It’s taking forever for the next site to update, but I’ll post back if I have trouble with it. So far, the other site is still connecting fine.

July 19, 2019 at 5:22 pm in reply to: Revolution Slider 6.0 & higher Won't display using Plugin Additions #1120282Revolution Slider just put this update out….
Changed obsolete function getArrSliders() default value to false, so that template slider are not shown in lists of page builders that still use this obsolete function
Does Enfold’s page builder use “obsolete function getArrSliders()”???
I don’t follow you on this instruction…… can you break it down further for us dummies?
And how far in the future is this development for the ADA compliance?
Could they just do the smaller, easy stuff first and release an update as each thing is done, so at least our scores start creeping up the compliance ladder? Thanks!
Hi,
Have you tried to enable the form labels and hide it using CSS by making the font size 0 will work for you temporarily.
We have to address the other issues by making changes to the core. Our development team is informed about your concern. An update will be released in one of the future version.
Best regards,
VinayI have to say that I am disappointed in this response.
I already found the 1st link you sent and there is no solutions at all on that thread.I tried the 2nd link’s suggestion & that didn’t work either – still returning:
“Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content”
“None of the above-the-fold content on your page could be rendered without waiting for the following resources to load. Try to defer or asynchronously load blocking resources, or inline the critical portions of those resources directly in the HTML.”
https://fonts.googleapis.com/…und&subset=latin,latin,latin,latin,latinwhen I test the speed.
This might work, but I don’t know where to find this folder:
“Hey!
Please go to Enfold/framework/php folder and open class-style-generator.php file and remove ‘link_google_font’ and ‘print_extra_output’ functions
Cheers!
Yigit”Hi,
This question was about minifying not cacheing.
I am already using W3 Total Cache – but there are two things that it’s not getting minified in the Enfold theme. We are in a very competitive market & ALL our competitors are 90 and above for the Google speed test & this is dragging me down along with the Google fonts api. I’d also like to just get rid of the Google fonts – speed is more important than a font type. l’m fine with the run of the mill Arial, Tahoma, whatever.Minifying https://XYZ.comwp-content/themes/enfold/js/shortcodes.js could save 13KiB (36% reduction) after compression.
Minifying https://XYZ,com/wp-content/themes/enfold/js/avia.js could save 6.9KiB (20% reduction) after compression. This plugin hasn’t been updated in years. Now what?
This plugin hasn’t been updated in 2 yrs what do you use now?
Hi Basilis,
Ummm, I guess you missed what I was trying to convey here.
The Enfold Google Maps was not working, with error that said I needed an API key.
1) I have the same API key that I used on this site – working with the Enfold theme & older version of WP – 4.7 whatever & before on other sites and working fine.
This site is running WP 4.8
2) I tried creating new API keys and none of them worked on this site running wp 4.8.
3) To test if the API did or didn’t work, I installed Google Maps Easy plugin (and in fact this plugin DOES work with the Enfold Google Maps module in use) and the API is clearly working
4) The API is NOT the problem.
5) In order to have a map on the site while the Enfold google maps & WP 4.8 is being looked into – I had no choice to but to use the other plugin.
6) In doing so – I noticed that the Enfold map module then would display.
7) Other people are having the same issue with WP 4.8 and Enfold map not working.
8) Please read the problem from the start before offering advice.
Thanks –
Anyone else have a solution for this issue??
Ok Rickard,
I have to manually enter the longitude & latitude because even with the Google Maps Easy map on the page – the Enfold map says that the api is missing, etc.
An error occurred
X
Google changed the way google maps work. You now need to enter a valid Google Maps API KeyYou can read a description on how to create and enter that key here: Enfold Google Settings
Below you’ll find a link to a page with the Google Maps Easy plugin map AND an Enfold google map – the Enfold one shows up.Then the other link will take you to a page with only the Enfold google map and it gives the error.
It’s strange. Very much related to the WP 4.8 upgrade.
Now the map will display sometimes – it is really weird. But even when the map displays on the front end – if you try to add an address – it gives that error quoted above still.
The front end display is very erratic & totally UNreliable.
Thanks
I have similar problems with Google Maps in combination with Enfold 4.0.4, 4.0.5 and 4.0.7 and WordPress 4.8.
I have one website with Enfold and WordPress 4.7.5. and Google Maps works fine on that one….
Edit: Also installed Google Maps Easy plugin and with this plugin installed, the Enfold Google Maps element works. Without the Google Maps Easy plugin it doesn’t….
So it seems this has to do with the Enfold theme. Please help us to fix this. Thanks in advance,
thewebfanatics

April 24, 2017 at 6:53 am in reply to: Make Video In Full Width Easy Slider Play on Mobile Too. #782167Thanks Mike,
I still need help on this.
I added this:
“Turn on Custom CSS Class field for all ALB Elements
December 3, 2013/in CSS Snippets, PHP Snippets /by Devin/Last Updated: April 9, 2014
Once enabled, the following function adds a new field to each of your Advanced Layout Builder element’s pop up menu.First Add this line of PHP to your functions.php file so that the custom class field is enabled:”
add_theme_support('avia_template_builder_custom_css');
In the full width easy slider I added this
@media only screen and (min-width: 990px) { .only-mobile { display: none !important; }}
In the video, I added this
@media only screen and (max-width: 990px) { .only-desktop { display: none !important; }}
Nothing changed. Thanks for your help on this.
I have been wanting to have more mobile friendly images, etc. for a long time. This will be great once I learn how to do it!
January 21, 2017 at 7:08 am in reply to: Advanced Layout Editor not loading (WordPress 4.6, latest Enfold) #736725Hi @Rikard – thanks!! Yes I did. I don’t know why the auto update wouldn’t update to 3.8+ (latest version) it was stuck on 3.7 – whatever and when I did “manual check” it said I had the latest version of the theme.
I had to install the latest version manually – I hope that fixes it & it will auto update again.
January 20, 2017 at 9:53 am in reply to: Advanced Layout Editor not loading (WordPress 4.6, latest Enfold) #736308I’m having the same problem in posts and pages. I either get nothing or a dial spinning where the editor should be.
This is on Enfold 3.7.1 and WP 4.7.1
All plugins are deactivated – makes no difference.
Switched from FireFox to Chrome – no differnce
My Enfold options panel insists I have the most current version of Enfold installed…. I see that I do not.
So why does it say that? Ugh.
Hopefully themeforest has the latest version for me to download.
Frustrated the auto update feature doesn’t work.
I was able to get the latest version & installed it & the functions are back!!
Thanks for all the great documentation and forum help.
You guys are the BEST!

January 15, 2017 at 9:13 pm in reply to: Turn off all dates from appearing from anywhere – especially posts, category pag #733814Thanks for the quick response.
I added the following to the Quick CSS and it did nothing to the dates appearing on the post categories page (Grid layout).
“.container .minor-meta {
display: none;
}With all the functions of Enfold, I’m surprised you don’t have the feature like Divi where you just click off the meta info you don’t want to show up in the theme options panel.
Again, when I look at Inspect Elements – this is what shows up for the date spot: “.avia-content-slider .slide-meta div, .avia-content-slider .slide-meta time”
That doesn’t make sense to me & neither does .container .minor-meta you gave me.
Any other ideas????
Thanks for the quick response.
How could that cache? I just added the posts – so never been to the pages on the browser & I don’t have any caching plugins installed.
Used a 2nd phone that has never been to the site – they show the same thing.
???
Thanks.
January 15, 2017 at 6:46 pm in reply to: Turn off all dates from appearing from anywhere – especially posts, category pag #733780Gee, if I knew how to do that I wouldn’t have bothered you. I need to know for the category page especially.
On the category page – if you hover over the date it shows this code – there isn’t a slider there on the page anywhere – so how do I know which thing to “display none”?
“.avia-content-slider .slide-meta div, .avia-content-slider .slide-meta time”

January 8, 2017 at 12:46 pm in reply to: Selected fonts from Fontello site, imported them & only a couple display right #730836Thanks – I really appreciate it.
Hi Rikard,
What is the Layer Slider element? I didn’t see that anywhere.
hmmmm? I loooooked.
Can you point me in the right direction? Maybe a screen shot??
Thanks!
I have installed LayerSllider WP (I purchased) and I can’t get it to work for full width.
How do you get it to display on a page? There;s no full width option that I can put the short code in.
It’s supposed to be on the home page.
Thanks.

I need my eyes fixed – seriously!!
Thanks Yigit!
November 7, 2016 at 1:43 pm in reply to: Styling header and footer menu in Enfold Theme using quick CSS #709174This is really frustrating considering how many years this theme has been out.
I need to make the header menu font size larger. I’m using the GYM DEMO.
What code do I put in the quick CSS?
Thank you
