Great thread! This all worked great, but the sticky element still tucks behind some content such as the Masonry Gallery even when using a-index: 999999!important;. Please see link provided.

August 4, 2016 at 9:26 pm in reply to: Problems with mobile view — mobile menu icon not visible / home page #668742Hi Ismael,
Again, sorry for the delayed response as no email notification came through. Avada was the theme we moved from, so are you asking if Avada files were deleted and thus the data-v_icon attribute? Do I need to restore something? Thank you!
July 7, 2016 at 2:15 am in reply to: Problems with mobile view — mobile menu icon not visible / home page #657812Hi Andy,
Sorry for the slow response – didn’t see any reply come through email as requested. Anyhow, I had tried disabling the plug ins prior to contacting you and the team. I also tried it again today. Still doesn’t appear. I’m providing login information privately. You have permission to deactivate plugins.
June 23, 2016 at 7:16 am in reply to: Problems with mobile view — mobile menu icon not visible / home page #652519We were able to figure out issue #2. It was a cache issue and clearing cache resolved it. Still need help on #1 with the mobile menu icon.
October 30, 2015 at 4:22 pm in reply to: Contact Form — Change Response Wording of "False" and "True" #527522Thanks Josue. They are still showing true and false. Even the test you did showed that. Any other thoughts?
October 29, 2015 at 3:18 pm in reply to: Contact Form — Change Response Wording of "False" and "True" #526836Hi, we’ve tested and still receiving “true” instead of “yes.” It’s a minor issue, but one we’d like to fix. Here’s what I received:
Please mail me this month’s FREE PFL booklet.: no
I would like information about the orphanages that Principles for Living serves.: true
Please send me information about the pastor training in Kenya and Liberia.: no
Other (please tell us below): noThanks again for your help!
October 6, 2015 at 6:15 pm in reply to: Contact Form — Change Response Wording of "False" and "True" #514659I also noticed that on the form: I can’t always select every radio button that I’d like. Please try to select all buttons and see if it works for you (I’m using Safari): http://www.principlesforliving.org/contact/
October 6, 2015 at 6:13 pm in reply to: Contact Form — Change Response Wording of "False" and "True" #514657Hi, I did incorporate that code. It does say “no” where it used to say “false,” but the “true” areas still say true. Also, in testing, I noticed that some checkboxes I selected said “false” which was probably an issue before we revised this code. Is that a bug?
Thanks for your insight!
September 25, 2015 at 4:49 am in reply to: Contact Form — Change Response Wording of "False" and "True" #508748Sorry for the delay. Yes, I’ve provided that below as private.
Thanks Elliott, I realized I hadn’t responded. Appreciate your input!
Thank you! You guys are always more than helpful.
Hi Rikard,
Thanks for your response. Could you tell me what a media query is? Are you saying have an invisible image and just assign a font size to that image line of code?
Still have one longer word “Communications” that is getting cut off on the right on a smartphone. Thoughts?
“none” was just ugly and “sub pixel-antialiased” took it back to the way it was. I’ll stick with “antialiased” as that at least got it better. Thanks for your help!
Thanks for your response Elliott! I wasn’t sure if this was something Enfold enacted or not, so appreciate you clarifying.
That did help. It’s closer to what I’m seeing on Firefox. Any way to bring it a notch closer? In other words, is there a term other than antialiased that might get us even closer? If not, I think I can live with this.
Appreciate it!
Hi Yigit. Thanks for your response. The font weight css would seem to be a solution, but since the fonts are doubling up, it’s simply doubling up a 300 weight font and still making it bold. Since posting this, I discovered that it’s happening only in Safari and looks fine in Firefox. Let me know if there’s a way I can attach screen shots and I’ll send those to you so you can see what I’m seeing.
I updated the theme today and the video now works. In fact, other issues we had cleared up. I hadn’t received any update notices on my dashboard, so I’m guessing I just need to check every once in awhile on your site. Also, I didn’t need to implement the video shortcode in this case it looks like. Thanks so much – you guys are always awesome!!!
This reply has been marked as private. Thanks for this. You say to use the theme’s shortcode instead. But, that shortcode doesn’t allow for any customization of the initial image that shows (the poster image), does it? Is there a way to do that?
This reply has been marked as private. This reply has been marked as private. This reply has been marked as private.Odd. I’ve checked on Safari, Firefox and Chrome and get a shifted image. I don’t see a feature for me to upload a screen shot, so I’ve uploaded that to this url: http://www.imagestudios.net/screenshot_wtr.jpg
Thanks for your help in working to resolve this Josue!
Didn’t quite work: http://withthisring.org/test-page
Here’s the code I used:
[video src="https://www.withthisring.org/videos/jointhestory_720.mp4" width="640" height="360" poster="http://www.withthisring.org/images/jointhestoryscreenshot.jpg"]And thanks for your help guys!
OK, I see what’s going on. I don’t have categories set up for portfolio items. I was trying to set them up as post pages and pulling from there. I now see the Portfolio Items area and that works.
That worked, but odd it can’t show using the Advanced Layout Editor. Thanks again for your help.
