Dear Ismael,
You wizard! It worked!! Thank you! And my apologies for the delayed reply. For some reason the notification of your reply went into my junk folder (it usually does not) and I just now found it.
Thank you again, Ismael. Much appreciated.
Best,
Tim

I would note that I too installed Memberpress and then BBpress… and that is when the problem started.Nikko,
Many thanks for the offer. I’ve changed my tactic and have decided to write rules that would override the plugin stylesheet. Redundant… but it gives me maximum control.
A tip for those like me who dabble only occasionally with CSS: I work in Safari and have just discovered that you can pinpoint the selector path by hovering over the element > double-click > inspect element, then, go to the highlighted source code of the element and double-click > copy > selector path. Then, final step, go to the Enfold General Styling > Quick CSS box and paste and voila’! You can write whatever CSS code you need and you don’t to waste time hunting down the best way to target the element. A real time saver.
Best to all.
TimDear Nikko,
Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve already put in a support request, but no response yet. If I do get an answer, I’ll be sure to share.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
Best,
TimDear Victoria,
Thank you for your reply and your generous offer to assist.
I’m trying to analyze the page structure and cross reference it with the CSS… and then figure out how I can turn off the plugin CSS for certain elements without having to hard code the changes in the plugin style sheet… which would of course mean that all that work would be reverted the next time the plugin is updated.
So, as a prime example, how can I tell the system to ignore the font the plugin assigns and instead use the Enfold font? Is there a way to do that? If so, where do I start?
Thanks,
TimHello Support Team:
I just wanted to report back with the solution. It was an issue with WordFence code. The following is from my server support.
Note: I have deleted the personal directories indicated, but you get the idea.Hello,
The issue was caused by the following setting in the file .user.ini in /www/www:
; Wordfence WAF
auto_prepend_file = ‘/www/www/wordfence-waf.php’
; END Wordfence WAF
Settings in .user.ini files are applied recursively to all subdirectories. This setting prepends code to all PHP files from the WordFence plugin installed on the WordPress website in /www/www. As the website in the subdirectory /www/www/ is a different WordPress installation, it causes the WordFence code to block some requests.
To resolve the issue, we renamed .user.ini to php.ini. Settings in php.ini files are applied only to PHP scripts that are located in the same directory as the php.ini file. We also copied to /www/www/php.ini the settings you have in the global php.ini file.Dear Victoria,
Thank you very much for taking the time to look at this. I’ll follow your leads and report back.
Cheers,
TimDear Victoria,

Victoria,
Many thanks for the reply… I completely dropped the ball on this.
Admin access below.
There are only two pages in the whole site… if you edit the home page, you’ll see immediately what I describe in the original message.
Thank you!

TimHi Victoria,
Yep, that’s how it should look. If you were to scroll down as soon as the page loads you would see what I see.
I’ll try and fix this with CSS.
Cheers,
Tim
Hi Victoria,
Thanks for the reply. The issue isn’t with the Full Width Easy Slider (as you have shown in your screenshot), but with the regular Easy Slider, which was further down the page. Some of the URLs have changed content. Have a look here:I’m thinking that what I need is some CSS that will issue a Max-height and clip the excess.
What do you see at your end on Safari?
Cheers,
TimDear Rikard,
Thanks for the reply. I’m seeing this on Safari. What would be the best CSS to use to establish a max-height for that section?
Thanks again.
Cheers,
TimAugust 18, 2019 at 3:40 am in reply to: Avia Advanced Layout Builder doesn't load. Spinning wheel keeps on going. #1128572Hi Rikard and Company:
I am running WordPress 5.2.2 and Enfold 4.5.7 and I can confirm the bug that phylicia refers to in the above post dated June 12th: I had two embedded iFrames (not YouTube videos) and I had to use the debug mode in order to remove the iFrames code and get the Avia Advanced Layout Builder to load again.
Is this an issue that you are working on at your end?
Cheers,
TimPS The problem does not occur when building the page, meaning, if I start fresh and add the iFrames to the page, I can see the embedded code appear in the Avia Advanced Layout Builder as I save each element. The error occurs when I ‘update’ the page and then either refresh it or return to edit the page that the spinning wheel appears. I hope that helps.

Dear Victoria,
Okay, many thanks for your help.
Fine to call me “Tim”. ;-)
Cheers,
TimHi Victoria,
It appears you are telling me to hide the problem rather than fix it. Or have I misunderstood?
Please advise.
Thank you,
TimDear Rikard,
My apologies for the runaround. I’ve just disabled the protection and checked it, so you shouldn’t have any problem with access.
I think it is important for you to at least have a look. I didn’t mention it before, but I should have: this problem occurs with ALL websites running the Enfold theme, not just this one, so even if it is a benign problem, I would still appreciate any insight as to why it occurs.
Thanks for your help!
Cheers,
TimDear Rikard,
Right you are. Credentials below.
Everything seems to be working fine, but since these errors occur every time I update Jetpack, I thought I would call it to your attention.
Many thanks for taking a look!

October 25, 2018 at 9:56 pm in reply to: Burger Icon on Transparent Header Not Responding to CSS or Alternative #1026570Dear Victoria,
Well, well. That isn’t what I was seeing… and I was refreshing and clearing the cache. Hmmmmm. I was using Safari on High Sierra. I’ll check on other browsers should this happen again.
Thank you very much, Victoria, for taking the time to look and reply!
Case closed.

October 23, 2018 at 10:24 am in reply to: Envato Token Works for Multiple Sites or Just One? #1025307Okay, I found the solution on another post:
– open an incognito window on Google Chrome
– login
– go to Theme Update, then click Revalidate the token
Voila’!

Tim“I fixed it by putting a different video… then putting back the old one.”
Dear Victoria,
Correct. But if you are doing something like managing a Masonry Gallery, that is high maintenance, as you have to remember what you had, recreate it, then make changes. Try it. ;-)
I understand why it is the way it is… but it would be super-handy to be able to go back and forth. My two cents.
Cheers,
TimVictoria,
Awesome! That is just what I needed. Thank you!
Cheers,
TimVictoria,
Right you are!
I fixed it by putting a different video… then putting back the old one.
No idea what caused the problem.
Case closed. Thanks again.
Cheers,
TimDear Support,
My apologies for insisting, but I really need to get this fixed.
As I mentioned above, I switched the video, but I now get a “playback error” on my desktop computer. Screenshot linked below.
Please advise as soon as you can.
Thank you,
TimDear Victoria,
Negative. I just switched the video and now the slider is broken.
I’ve kept it in the slider so you can see… but it is the last slide, not the first.
Note: to debug this I cleared caches, tried different browsers, and even deleted the slide and then put it back. Nothing fixed it.
Please advise ASAP.
Thank you.
TimDear Ismael,
Thank you for the fix!
Question: this was a modification to a theme file, correct? Meaning, I can change the video if I need to, right?
Please advise.
Thanks again.
TimDear Isamel,
My apologies. The user now has admin privileges.
Thank you!
