Never mind, I managed to sort this by using the shortcode inside a colour section element in the end :-)
I have managed to get full width but I have noticed now that for some reason the height of the container is always 800px height despite there being no minimum height set and all the breakpoints are set already. Could it be the fullwidth container element in the Enfold theme causing the issue?
With this in mind is there anyway to remove Layserslider plugin to save the unnecessary overhead please?
I have given up and gone back to Revslider in the end guys, sorry for the unnecessary thread.
Guys, I am currently implementing this solution which should work well for you > https://yoast.com/setting-up-wordpress-for-amp-accelerated-mobile-pages/ it seems to work fine with the theme, I just need to tweak my settings to get some sort of branding in there but remember AMP pages are supposed to be a stripped down version. At current it doesn’t support pages, only posts but there will be an update coming where by pages are supported apparently. But to be fair AMP is aimed at blog posts anyway. Have a read and enjoy – I am also using this with Monster Insights so the tracking is pulled across all areas of my site.

You can see examples here, basically any page that has a slider looks bad, there are two examples in there which look okay though

Well unfortunately I can’t because my only solution was to switch straight back over to the parent theme and turn off the plugin but I can send a screenshot if you can tell me how I should upload them?
I did try that but it appears that it breaks any page where the layerslider shortcode is used, basically it make the whole content area of the page have a dark background, stretch to the full width of the window and all styling is lost.
+1 from me too. AMP is going to seriously impact SERP for mobile devices in the future
Yes it would be great to know if Kreisi will consider this
Hi Ismael. I posted that link to demonstrate that there are the two options for us and I am glad that you are aware of this.
Will you be implementing the JavaScript version and if so do you know when that might be please?
Looks top be just the solution thanks. Consider this resolved
Ah that’s excellent, I’ll try that, thanks you genius :-)
Is there a way to make it so that we can turn these features on and control elements like deep linking and also the addition of the Pinterest button all from within the admin panel? Otherwise we have to remember to make these changes on updates etc, it seems intuitive that most people would want these on their lightbox anyway…
Fixed it, I just added the following fix instead to my custom css but you guys will want to fix this for the next update I guess:
#header_meta {
z-index: 5000;
}Thanks
This still isn’t working, you need to test this by hovering over the wedding menu item on the very top menu, it seems to drop when you get to the page content, as though it has a lower z-index number?
