    Hi,

    Just wanted to know when the bundled LayerSlider would get updated to version 6 please? I have a license for the layerslider plugin but even when adding in the license code it doesn’t seem to update for some reason.

    Hi Tom!

    Our devs are currently working on the update. Next Enfold release will include the latest version of LayerSlider.
    However, if you would like to use LayerSlider plugin as a standalone plugin, please de-activate bundled version by referring to this post – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/deactivate-the-layerslider-plugin/ :)

    I did try that but it appears that it breaks any page where the layerslider shortcode is used, basically it make the whole content area of the page have a dark background, stretch to the full width of the window and all styling is lost.

    Well unfortunately I can’t because my only solution was to switch straight back over to the parent theme and turn off the plugin but I can send a screenshot if you can tell me how I should upload them?

    You can see examples here, basically any page that has a slider looks bad, there are two examples in there which look okay though

    Hey!

    It looks like that because the theme’s slider configuration are missing. The latest version of the plugin will be added to the theme eventually once deemed stable. Unfortunately, you might need to wait for a while. Thank you for your patience.

    Hi all,

    I purchased my own license and was able to activate the plugin as stand alone version. Thanks for the Link Ismael, it worked perfectly. Don’t forget to change the short codes to [layerslider id=”<ID GOES HERE>”] :)
