Oh! No way! Yesterday I wrote a long explanation of all that I had tested and now it’s gone… :( I’ll try to re-write it later today..

Sorry for the delay… I updated to the latest version of Enfold 3.1.5 and made the modifications you gave me (on the parent theme) and it worked like a charm for the Blog error! Now I have errors on the comments section:
“The property commentText is not recognized by Google for an object of type Blog.”

I made the modifications on the site that is not multisite to make it simpler.

I created an includes folder and added the helper-markup.php modified with the new code (replaced) to the child theme but now it gives me 3 errors… :(
Shouldn’t the attribute be “article”?
I modified it on a client’s site:

Let’s see. Is there a way to add a no index to links to external pages on the site? What happens is that the urls formed get indexed by Google and then are displayed on Google Webmasters as page not found / 404s.
Example:
http://hispanic-marketing.com/4d-projection-mapping-campaigns/
for every link to an external page a new url is indexed:
http://hispanic-marketing.com/4d-projection-mapping-campaigns/www.nuformer.com (you can see the url if you right click on the words http://www.nuformer.com and do a copy link, and you will see that the link is not http://www.nuformer.com as I would expect it to be but http://hispanic-marketing.com/4d-projection-mapping-campaigns/www.nuformer.com which is a non-existent page and invalid link)
Have I set something incorrectly? How can I stop these urls from being indexed? or from being formed?
(Internal links are no problem because the page does exist and the url is correct)
I begun removing the external links but then I cannot link out to anybody and that’s not good for attribution or SEO purposes.
Please let me know if I explained it better this time.

I am waiting for the other resolution as I didn’t publish that page either…. (but evidently this is not a major issue as all I had to do is remove that button and leave only one – not a big deal for this particular page) ;)

Thank you for the tips!! I am still working on this but so far I discovered some incompatibilities that the ESSB plugin had internally with its own caching (they suggested turning it off and it worked) and before adding another cache plugin. They are working on making things happen on the other site of the multisite.
But I’ll get there!!!

Here’s the Avia code I add to each post to make the related posts with Enfold ;)

It would be really cool if it would pick up the tags from the current post automatically and disable the current post – offset works when it’s the last post with that tag but then it moves ;)
Maybe it can be added to the next release? I love the fact that I can insert it anywhere in the post for improved conversions (some articles are long and one can benefit from a related posts before it’s expected)

I am also sharing with you some of the custom data the ESSB plugin provides. It’s really SMM and SEO friendly. You can customize the tweet message, use bit.ly for Twitter only, share images on Pinterest by hovering on them, it validates Facebook debugger, Google Structured Data Testing Tool, Pinterest Rich Pin Validator and Twitter Card Validator. They are on CodeCayon too!

Now all I have to resolve is the ESSB Plugin settings so it doesn’t mess up the code and from what you told me earlier it must be one of the settings for minifying the javascript or making it run on the bottom. I’ll test it and let you know just in case somebody else uses that plugin (It’s pretty complete, especially from the markup perspective. – You can add the full complete code markup for G+, Twitter, FB, LinkedIn and Pinterest and it lets you add specific text and image for each post by network)
Ah! I don’t know if you noticed but I hand made a related plugin with Enfold ;) Here’s one of the pages where I added it:

I turned off the ESSB plugin and did not need to add any other code to make the body text display correctly. ;) Now I need to discover how I can use that plugin without messing up the code.
I added:
#top #header_meta, #top #header_meta nav ul ul li, #top #header_meta nav ul ul a, #top #header_meta nav ul ul {
background-color: #ff4d47 !important;
}
but it also applies it to my home page on desktop, tablet and cell. Is there a way to only apply it when it’s the cell?Thank you!!! :)

It didn’t work as my social networks have to be in white and the phone number cannot be seen either:

The pages do display thinner on the body (and I see Google sees the same as me) but this happens only on full width pages:

It seems that if the other corresponding files – same dimensions same everything – are also added to the WP library, Safari on Mac (I don’t know what happens with Safari on Windows) will be able to pick them up via the webm url added to the background video.
I don’t know if this helps. I used easyhtml5 conversion software (free version) to go from .mov to .webm, .ogv and .mp4 version as it gives you all of them at the same time.

You have to upload the webm, the ogg and the mp4 and then add the link to the webm. Then it works!!!! HAHAHAHAH!!! SOOO HAPPYYY!!! :) :) :)

PS: I had it working on Safari before so I knew it had to work in spite of all the comments I saw about this as well…. ;)Hi guys!!
I have asked some friends to check on their Macs with Safari to see if it happens to them too. I have no problems with YouTube at all. I will remove the YouTube background as I only added it to measure page download speed with pingdom (to see if I should make the video a YouTube video instead of a webm) and maybe that’s the solution.
I checked on the Adobe site and I had the latest version of Adobe Flash Player:

Macintosh (OSX)I can see the clouds moving and checked that Java & Plugins were enabled on Safari Preferences (it was). Closed Safari. Opened again. Emptied cache. Closed Safari. Went to the page and I still see the little white dots circle on the webm file. What am I missing? Is it because of the OSX version? Mine is 10.7.5 or maybe because this is a very small webm file (and I mean small in screen size) It was working before the last WP update but it was a 6MB webm file and much larger in pixels. Maybe this is the restriction. Could it be?

Yes, the YouTube plays well :) I am able to see the webm on Firefox and Chrome on a Mac now but Safari (6.1.6) no matter how much I clear the cache from the Develop menu and restart it I cannot make it work :( I must be missing something here. What else could I do?

I am a bit afraid of messing up with those lines but in researching Yoast I happened upon this recommendation from Joost from 2 years ago:
To eliminate the date display on the plugin add this to the theme’s functions.php file:
add_filter( ‘wpseo_show_date_in_snippet_preview’, ‘__return_false’ );And I wanted to run this by you first to make sure I won’t mess anything up and where in the functions.php file should I add it, if you recommend so.
