Rikard you are a superstar, that worked. I have no clue how that colour changed cause I haven’t worked on that recently, but I should have thought about the that first.

June 28, 2017 at 1:13 pm in reply to: Html links to specific section on the same page or another page #813792Hi Victoria,
I got the link to work, it was very simple, the html was wrong, I needed to remove the <a href= from the start of the link and only start it with http://Thanks again for taking the time to help :)
Finally, i don’t see a way to mark this topic as resolved, is it something an administrator must do?
June 27, 2017 at 9:20 pm in reply to: Html links to specific section on the same page or another page #813596Hi Victoria,
Sorry, i have been working on the site today, the error msg I get is
Nothing Found Sorry, the post you are looking for is not available. Maybe you want to perform a search?
To make it easier, I have set up two pages on the menu, these are:
Test 1 and Test 2Test 1 has an Icon Box and Text Box both with the same html link to ‘Digital Printing’ on Test 2
The Text Box link works fine, but the Icon Box brings up the error msg.Failed Link URL
Something in the way the Icon Box is reading the html is causing the problem, if you look at the address bar for the failed link from the Icon Box you will see this url http://7ate9.co.uk/test-1/%3Ca%20href=%22http:/7ate9.co.uk/test-2/#digitalprinting%22%3EDigital%20Printing%3C/a%3ESuccessful link URL
This is the successful link from the text box http://7ate9.co.uk/test-2/#digitalprintingI’m afraid i have no other ideas, I wish i could find a manual work around to use the Text Box to make things easier for all.
Thanks again
June 26, 2017 at 11:26 am in reply to: Html links to specific section on the same page or another page #812980Hi Victoria, thanks for clearing that up, I understand what set manually means. what i am asking is I want to use the Icon Box and have the destination to be on a specific paragraph to the destination page. Here is the destination page <a href=”http://7ate9.co.uk/services/
and here is the tag to the specific paragraph #printdesign
So the entire html reference should beit works fine when i set it to go to the page, but when i out the last part #printdesign i either get an error msg or it breaks the page entirely which again happened this morning.
If however I do all of this in a Text Block, it works fine. Is there something preventing using this in the Icon box and is there a way around it?Thanks
June 23, 2017 at 7:03 am in reply to: Html links to specific section on the same page or another page #811973Hi John, sorry about that, it’s a demo site that not accessed for many months at a time, it’s on my list to do.
Quick get around is to click on ‘enable cookies’ and go to the wordpress page, and then click on the browser back button to the log in page again, enter details and it should work.
Thanks again :)hi, has anyone managed to solve this problem?
I’ve had the issue for abt 2 years, I was hoping to fix it today, but no joy.
Here’s what I’ve tried :
1. Use Enfold Contact form with the website’s own email client – didn’t work
2. Used a gmail address – didn’t work
3. Used Contact form 7 – didn’t work
4. Used 3 separate email addresses, including the website’s own – didn’t work
5. Banged my head on the keyboard – that hurt.If anyone has a few mins to have a look at the site, I am happy to send login details via private message.
cheers x
Hi Rikard,
Thanks for your help, the excerpt problem is sorted, but the wysiwyg editor is still won’t play nice.
Building a Catalogue list and everything works fine, except for what I write in the text editor area to describe the item. i am finding the following:
I write a whole bunch of stuff to find it hasn’t saved.
Edited a bunch of stuff to find out it hadn’t been edited and savedI even duplicated catalogue items in hope it works and when i edit those the problem still occurs.
i just spent 3 hours and I only managed to build two catalogue items.please tell me there is a fix for this, i am running behind schedule :(
hi, thanks for the reply.
ran into another (worse) problem. couldn’t get anything to work, so I deleted all the pages to start over fresh. Then deleted the theme and reloaded via FTP. reloaded demo content, but no pages appear and can’t get new pages to add to the menu.i have been struggling with this all day, and I have been working with wordpress for 7 years, but i am stomped by this theme
thanks for the help
