I guess I found the error, I had the following CSS added (don’t remember why):
.single .big-preview.single-big {
pointer-events: none;
}Removing it did the trick.

I am in contact with the plugin authors … they recommended to disable all hover functionality. I did disable “Linked Image Overlay” in Advanced Styling and the behavior improved, now the pinterest button is visible when showing blog posts by the blog posts widget, i.e., you can pin the title image. However, when I click on the post and see the full post, still for the featured image (the first one) the pin it button (“Merken” in German) does not show up. Any further ideas what’s different for the featured image compared to the others?

1) I applied the mentioned patch, therefore the icons work again. Now I disabled the patch so you can see it, see private content
2) you only see the buttons at the footer of the post
And: I have 4.7.5 installed, so problem should be fixed, but it is not!
Thank you Victoria! This workaround solved the problem. So what about the built in widget – will it ever work again?
Btw: I also upgraded now to Enfold 4.7.5
Thanks. Using the plugin did not work for me (got the error that the “enfold” folder already exists), so I did it via ftp. The part with the Envato token was a little bit more tricky. A nice description would be helpful (the link you provided did not contain this information). I had to google … but was easy to find.

thanks for your answer, but does it also allow simple text without any input field? Because that’s what I’d like to do.
If yes, how would I add the text “hello world” below the standard comment fields?

FlorianMarcel, simply copy the whole script but don’t forget to replace GA_TRACKING_ID by your own tracking ID (at 2 places in the script)
I know. However, every resizing of an image blurrs it. So the first blurring occurs when I define a size for the thumbnail, the second one when the browser rescales it to the actually displayed size. Using the original image in the
<img>tag means only one rescaling (when the browsers displays the image), which means a sharper image. Thus, my question remains: how can I use the original image as featured image, without any resizing?@Yigit, Thanks for the fix :-)
I am having the same problem. I recently installed some plugin, one also dealing with Instagram, but I already de-installed it. Now I only have the plugins activated when it was working – but it still does not, same error message.
