Yes, please. I am using the advanced layout editor.
Thanks.November 6, 2017 at 5:08 pm in reply to: Vimeo inside a fullwidth slider not stretching full width #873179I am waiting to upgrade to this new Enfold version for the developers to releases bug fixes in 4.2.1…. is that going to happen?
Thanks
RobMods, is this going to be addressed in a 4.2.1. update? I’m holding off updating my site until this is resolved.
Thanks
Yup me too… definitely a bug guys.
Here’s the issue on my staging site with a locally hosted video:
(hosted on WPengine)
Sorry to be direct but the time has come to say this —
It is really sad what has happened to Enfold. Has this theme been abandoned? We now see maybe 1 or 2 small updates a year, mainly focused on building demos to sell more themes, but without real enhancements that would add more user functionality. This menu “enhancement” in the update months ago has been a disaster but the fact that users are begging for updates / fixes is not consistent with my years of using Enfold. In the past this would have been addressed in days or weeks, not months.
What has happened to Enfold? Is Kriesi perhaps ill or has a new baby and cannot work on it like he did before? Something has definitely changed.
This has been “coming soon” for months now. This is like waiting for paint to dry. Disappointed in Enfold. :(
Sorry to say but I am losing faith in Enfold after years of use. It is disheartening that updates are few and far between, and when we do get updates they contain major bugs which are not addressed after a month of users asking the same questions in the forum over and over again.
August 22, 2017 at 10:41 pm in reply to: Probable bug in Enfold burger/responsive menu when using a Custom Link #842797No need to apologize… it’s regrettable that the next update is still pending.
There are a few workarounds I have seen here, including turning the “clone menu items” setting on, but that makes the menu look pretty messy and adds another level. Some have also created custom top level menus with a “#” as the page destination. Neither of those provided what I needed, unfortunately. Perhaps one of the mods will have a suggestion for your case. Good luck!
August 22, 2017 at 8:13 pm in reply to: Probable bug in Enfold burger/responsive menu when using a Custom Link #842746Yup.
Known bug.
For more than a month now.A fix was “coming soon” weeks ago….
Sad.
Great, thanks, should I remove the code from the functions.php file then?
This worked and I used a re-generate plugins plug just to regenerate the two photos that had been uploaded since the thumbnail setting size changed. In case anyone else is searching threads and has the same issue, the optimal size for thumbnails for Mailchimp campaigns is 600×600 and allow thumbnails to remain proportional under the settings –> media menu.
Thanks,
RobI had overcome the issue with this by just going into settings –> media and changing the default thumbnail size when uploading from 80×80 to a much larger size. This worked fine until recently when an update reverted the thumbnail back to 80×80, so the last two posts on my feed show very small photos and those are being passed to Mailchimp. Mailchimp needs larger photos or else the emails it sends out have blurry photos.
http://www.thomashenthorne.com/feed/
When I changed the functions.php to the above code on my staging site, the thumbnails are still small (cache cleared) when I view them with https://codebeautify.org/rssviewer
Is there another solution to get Enfold to pass larger (450×450) size photos to the rss feed?
Thanks much

Thank you Basilis but this has now been WEEKS since this bug was released… to continue to tell us that it is being worked on without any timing is frustrating as a user. I am really concerned that Enfold seems to be a “part time project” for a few people vs. a major priority with a staffed dedicated team like other themes out there. Our theme is falling behind, and I say “our” because those of us who use Enfold love it and remember the days when fixes came in days, not weeks.
(and in other threads, mods are insisting that these issues are user error / configuration & “normal behavior”, so even the mods aren’t on the same page with this one.)
We look forward to the update / fix soon.
Thank you for listening.

August 5, 2017 at 6:47 pm in reply to: Yet another problem (!!) with Enfold 4.1.2 – Mega Menu on mobile just broke #834842Is it possible to do this:
TOP MENU NAME —- > 13 submenu items, all clickable.
Example:
DINNER (top level)
then you click dinner and see:– Hamburger
– Fries
– Coke
– Brownie
– Apple
– Water
– Biscuit
– Steak
– Beans
– Radishes
– Tomatoes
– SaladIs that possible? Because no one has been able to figure that out on my site, with back end access.
Thanks
RobThis update has been a nightmare for weeks now. I have spend hundreds of dollars and countless amount of time getting my website just back to where it was before the update… and all I got from 4.1 that adds any benefit to the user experience is a carousel slider. With a mistake this big you would think there would be a scramble to release 4.1.3, but weeks later… CRICKETS CHIRPING.
And yes, you’re correct, the mobile menu now is broken on their own demo site!! Incredible.
August 4, 2017 at 4:54 am in reply to: Yet another problem (!!) with Enfold 4.1.2 – Mega Menu on mobile just broke #834139I don’t want to display all submenu items all the time. I want it to be like Enfold 4.0 and 3.0 and 2.0 and like the desktop version. This is so frustrating. I have 13 submenu items… it would look terrible to have them all open. Yigit took at look at this as well, and there’s another thread where Basilis says this is a known issue. This behavior changed with this new version, and the fact that it is inconsistent in the way it handles the submenu items (sometimes showing them, sometimes not) means it’s a bug, not an Enfold setting.
Please escalate this to Kriesi. There are multiple threads on this and we need one sticky thread that addresses the bug and tells us when a fix is coming.
Thanks for trying to help. My apologies for my frustration.

August 2, 2017 at 6:26 am in reply to: Yet another problem (!!) with Enfold 4.1.2 – Mega Menu on mobile just broke #833185You can go to http://www.thomashenthorne.com on mobile and then hit the hamburger menu, select “Marin County” and then select “Marin County Overview” and then the towns will open up starting with “Corte Madera”
You have to do this on mobile, obviously. The problem is that “Marin County Overview” is also a page and I’d like to be able to click on that like with the old menu or the desktop menu. But the only way to make that clickable is to clone the top level menu which then causes other problems.
Hope this helps you guys de-bug this…. Yigit has also spent some time in my backend of my site looking at the menu structure etc.
Thanks,
RobHi Yigit,
Thanks for trying. Do you know why this mega menu isn’t working while others work? I’m ok with just a two-level menu, top level title and then 13 sub items. Does the new mega menu not support that number of sub items?Looking forward to 4.1.3………. :/
Thanks, Rob
Hi Yigit, thanks for circling back!
I would like it to work as it did for years before this latest update, and the way it still works on desktop which is:
“Top Level Menu — > 13 sub-items”
So for this menu… “Marin County” (top) would open to show the 14 submenu items (Marin County Overview + the Marin towns)
Really need for this to work again, thanks for your help.
Best
robYigit on your screenshot, it shows the “Marin County Overview” as a title menu for the sub menus below it (the town names) but I am not able to navigate to “marin county overview” which is a page. Are you able to get to “Marin County Overview” from the mobile menu?
Thanks!
Rob(on our iphones it doesn’t, Marin County Overview just serves as a non clickable submenu header…. I need it to be clickable too….and ideally it’s not a header, just a sub menu item under “Marin County” the way it was before 4.1….) Thanks!
And what happens when you click on marin county overview? It is supposed to go to a page…..
More info private content
Hey! It reproduces on iPhone. Under the marin county menu header try to click on marin county overview on your iPhone. Won’t go there. Also the workaround requires three menu levels. I want marin county to go to one menu level down not two. So marin county to the town names with marin county overview being same level as town name.
Does that make sense? Thanks!
Ha ha you want to look at my back end?? Well I’m flattered! :) :)

July 28, 2017 at 10:29 pm in reply to: Enfold 4.1.1 Tablet mode of website now has strange margin issues #831320July 28, 2017 at 7:00 am in reply to: Yet another problem (!!) with Enfold 4.1.2 – Mega Menu on mobile just broke #830911PS The other big flaw with this workaround is that LEVEL TWO of the THREE LEVEL MEGA MENU is not clickable on mobile but is clickable on desktop.
This is clearly a bug and you guys really need to push an update on this before the weekend… PLEASE!
I will never update Enfold again the first week an update comes out. I will treat it like Yoast where I watch the support boards for a week before I update their Plugin. If I could revert I would but my coder has now built a bunch of custom coding to get the header working again so I can’t go back. Thank you again for trying to help!
Thanks,
RobJuly 28, 2017 at 6:55 am in reply to: Yet another problem (!!) with Enfold 4.1.2 – Mega Menu on mobile just broke #830910Thank you, Ismael, your comment made me start thinking and I was able to formulate a workaround that makes my menu work for now until 4.1.3. comes out hopefully fixing this new rule about mega menus. (It worked great before 4.1)
MEGA MENU THAT WOULDN’T WORK STRUCTURE:
Top Level Link that pointed to a page — > 13 sublinks all going to different pages (worked before)MEGA MENU WORKAROUND: THREE LEVEL MENU:
Top level link that points to page —> Second link that points to same page as top level link (sigh, needless) —> 13 sublinks that point to pagesSo I had to add a dummy link in the middle of the mega menu and now it works… but this is not a good solution from a UX perspective and I hope the developers can restore the way the mega menu used to work.
Thanks for your help, though ,this at least gets those pages back on mobile…!!!
Would you mind sharing which plugin? Thanks much.
Thanks… so on the ALB elements below the first video, so the second, third, etc video, if you hit pause it doesn’t show the related videos… if I remove rel=0 from the link in the ALB video element, if you hit pause then related videos show.
Noted on the lightbox on the first video… thanks! Rob
