Hi Victoria,
I have since stopped using the animations because of this issue. Should I recreate a page so you can see?
Thanks,
LeydenHi,
I already add custom post types to the grid. It works great. I’ve even added the CPT functions to functions.php in the Child Theme to be able to use the Avia page building. The only thing missing is this date option. I can add the CPTs to a grid of “Blog Posts” and have the date show just find. But with the Masonry portfolio layout, I can add the CPTs as well only no date display. I have to use the “excerpt” to do it.
Thanks,
LeydenThanks Andy,
Really appreciate the info. Now I’m asking how to account for custom post types within those examples.
Best,
LeydenHi all,
In this example, how would you account for using this for custom post types. For example, if I had a custom post type for Movies.
Thanks,
LeydenHi there,
Let me explain it better. In your portfolio masonry layout (which is what I use for all posts) you do not have an option to display the date. You only have “Title and Excerpt” as possible options.
Portfolio Masonry Grid:
However, in your “Blog Posts” masonry grid layout, you post the date by default.
Blog Masonry Layout:
You should consider offering the display of dates in the portfolio as well.
Thanks,
LeydenMy host is currently on PHP 5.6. So is it now a PHP 7 upgrade issue?
Thanks Michael,
I will check and see. Would also like to know if anyone else is experiencing this as well.
Thanks,
LeydenHi all,
Running Enfold 4.0.5 and WordPress 4.7.3 (latest) and the Avia building is not behaving well. I have no plugins installed.
For example, in the color section does not display the faint background image in the page builder. Instead, I get a link under it that states “Section content hidden. Click here to show it” when I click it, does nothing.
Also, when I try to edit a “Special Heading” it opens without the preview section on the right.
Thanks,
LeydenDoes CSS Hero add inline CSS or does it actually add CSS to the child theme CSS file? Does it edit the them wide styles or adds custom CSS to each page? How is it different or better than the new Enfold “Advanced Styling” section of the theme backend?
Thanks,
LeydenI have note found a solution. I know the theme pretty well, but I don’t see any option to show dates in the grid.
Hi all,
When you import the theme settings from the parent theme, does that include all the page builder pages? I have built multiple pages using the page builder and have saved several templates. Would all this be important as well or only the settings within the theme options panel?
Thanks,
LeydenYes, I have a staging set-up.
I just wonder about the theme option export. Does that export the page building data? When you switch to a child theme, how do the pages built using the page builder stay intact?
Thanks
Thanks! I’ll give it a try. This theme is amazing and super stable. Love it and want to make sure you guys keep it amazing. Appreciate it.
Best,
LeydenHi there,
I will add it to my child theme and see what I can figure out and I keep you posted.
Thanks,
Leyden
September 21, 2016 at 7:14 pm in reply to: Enfold update 3.7.1 Google map function does not work #689968I have tried multiple times to put in the API code and add a map. It’s not working. Have these issues been addressed in 3.8?
Thanks, Leyden

Thanks,

Not working to well. You can’t see the icons. Thank you though. I will keep working with it, and see what’s possible.
Thanks,
Leyden
Sorry about that, I thought I added them. I did them and can’t see them.I can find them with the inspector but can’t seem to make the icon show up.
Thanks,
LeydenHere is the info.
Sure, I need an email please.
Hey,
I added this to child functions and don’t see the social icons in slide-out.
ThanksYigit,
I will add it to my child theme functions file and let you know how it works.
Thanks!
LeydenHi Rikard,
I’m current working on this website using the mobile slide-out menu on both mobile and desktop. I would like the display the social icons at the bottom of this slide-out menu.
Ismael,
Thanks! I’ll consider it. I made use of the mobile menu on desktop as well and it works great. You guys should consider removing this from the avia.js for the future release so it’s not an issue.
Thanks,
Leyden
Hi all,
I’d like to add something to this thread. The code above solved “jump” issue. Thanks! I would like to add something else though.
When you click the mobile menu, the content jumps to the top as if you click “back to top” link. So if I’ve scrolled half way down and click the mobile menu, it will take me back to the top of the content.
Is there a solution for this somewhere here?
Thanks!
April 8, 2016 at 10:57 pm in reply to: Just updated to 3.5.1 and Advanced Layout Builder has different issue now #610442Hi all,
Solved the issue with emptying browser cache in Google Chrome.
On another note, is there a way to use the layout builder by default?
Thanks,
Leyden
Okay so I figured it out and fixed it. this is emberacing but here it goes. It seems that after upgraging either I or someone (client) checked the “Lock Page Builder” setting in the Theme Options panel. So as I went through all the settings one by one, I discovered it.
Thanks for all your help and again, congrats on an ever improving top notch theme.
Best,
Leyden
Okay, I tried that and it didn’t work. I change the name of the theme in the child css and then I change the current_theme value in the database to match it. It fixes the page builder problem in the back-end but breaks the website content because it doesn’t load the theme options. So I uploaded the saved theme options file like you suggested. This fixes the content on the front end and reloads the theme options but then breaks again the page builder.
What’s going on? Is it a specific value in the options?
Thanks,
Leyden
If I could just find out where the theme references the child theme name I may be able to fix this. Does anyone have a moment to let me know this detail and potentially fix a bug that could break future sites?
Thanks,
Leyden
The site was cloned and tested to reveal this issue. I also used FTP to change the name of the child theme back to the original and BAM it started working again. However, that voided all the info and data configured in the theme options panel.
Thanks,
Leyden
