Thanks Michael!
Hi Michael,
My first update went fine, uptil now. Where can I find info about what is new in this Enfold update?Best,
Els
Thanks Michael,
It seems like a peace of cake. But 15 peaces of cake does’nt make me feel good.
Hopefully the bugs will be fixed soon.Best,
ElsMost times I receive a message about an new update. Have not seen it yet.
But my colleague does have an error code 403 and reinstalled the older version.
The think about API keys and the Tokens are a bit confusing.
Can we just make as many tokens as we want?I’ve had contact with my hosting. They do have a block on the server. The can make special settings for Enfold if the have the IP address of where the theme is uploaded from:
“What we would like to know is from which IP address or IP addresses the developers of your theme work, via which port and what actions are carried out on the server. If you can request this information from the developers of your theme, we would like to check for you whether it is possible to allow these actions on the server.” (Google tanslate)
Is this possible?
Beacause I have quite some Enfold and want to keep on using them for future websites, it would be a nice solution for me.Kind regards,
Els
Thanks Rikard,
I’ve just had contact about this problem with the hosting. They will look into this. I’ll let you know if this gives a solution.
Kind regards,
Els
Oh sorry Rikard! Just changed it.
Best Regards,Hi Rikard,
Thanks for you reply.
I always use the codes that are provided when I buy a lisence.
I assumed that these are the right codes.
Because the url I’ve send you is from a medical site, I can’t give you login codes for this. New law since May 25th…
But I have other sites with same issues.Hope to hear from you, kind regards,
Els

Many thanks Mike! It works fine now.
Best regards,
ElsHello Mike!
Website is online now.
On a cellphone screen the text look fine. But on a desktop the font at the part ´medicine´ which is a list, the text is in uppercase.
I would love to transform this into a lowercase font.
Also on a few other forms, but these are simmilar.NAME MEDICINE DOSAGE AMOUNT
Thanks for looking into this. By the way, the login link is deleted again. Since the new regulations on May 25th I have to keep strickt to this…… Sorry!
Thanks Mike!
This might help. But I really have no idea where to place this code.
And I’m worried about other sites where I also use Enfold and Gravity forms together.
I will just delete the gravity editor.
It’s not a great problem, only that on a form on page ‘recept’ has capital font on a part :NAAM RECEPT DOSERING HOEVEELHEID
and I will have to find for codes for this. This is not my specialty….
Many, many thanks Mike, I appreciatie your help.

This reply has been marked as private. Thanks for your reaction Mike!
I had the impression that all problems wer solved. Bur unfortunately there are still things not going the way it should
Now I can edit, but when I want to look into te result, there is a blanc screen.Beacuse it did function okay for a short time, I deleted the inlogcodes etc. I will put put back again and hope you can help me out.
Also after update of the new WordPress things in the settings has been changed by itself.
The permalinks are different now. May be this is also giving problems….Page ‘inschrijven’is giving blanc after edtiging.
Note: not all pages are allready in Enfold style!Latest experience: When inserting Grafity Forms, the editing goes blanc and nothing shows. I dont have bad experiences with Grafity Forms and Enfold. Is this new?

Thanks for all your support. Recently all things are working perfectly again. Also on the other sites I’m working on. Am going full speed.
Al times I did cleaned the database, caching etc.
This problem can be marked as solved and closed. Once agina: thanks again for yoyr great support!Kind regards,
Els
Thanks for your answer.
Yes, I did cleared the browser and empty caches etc many times.
That’s why it was so frustrating that in the beginning the changes don’t show.
And when lookeing som hours later and I saw al the changes after all, I felt so confused.
I have worked on about 16 Enfold sites and never had this experienced before.
Hopefully I will get used to it, if it stays this way…..
Thanks.Best regards,
Els
When I look a couple of hours later, it seems like the color has changed after all. That seems to be the case in all kind of changes. How come?
Let us consider the case as closed. But I raelly don’t like it when changes shows after quite a while.- This reply was modified 6 years, 6 months ago by Els.
thank you so much Mike!

Yes! Deleting the old files really made a big change! No problems anymore. Thanks for your tips.

I’ll try your suggestion first: to delete the older version of Enfold and then install the new update.
And because of the new law on the privacy here in Europe, giving admin to others is a ‘bit’ of a problem. Some of my sites are medical, with very private information. So I hope I can fix it myself. I’ll keep you updated if it will all work out well, or not. Thanks so far.Best regards,
ElsIt would be so nice if there would be more information what exactly to do when updating an older version.
A new clean installation is no problem, but updating…..Hello Yigit, (nice name)
By FTP, just upload, without first deleting the files.
I’m always afraid to loos my content, and it used to go all right, until now. But not anymore.
Should I delete the older map with enfold and then complete the newer version?
Thanks you all. I’m happy again.
Happy news, Nikko. It works! Thanks.
I assume that I will have to fill in again after each update of Enfold?
Since I don’t use child theme on sites with so liitle info etc.
By the way it’s a demo site.Best regards,
Els

Hi Basilis,
Also found in functions:

February 6, 2018 at 5:03 pm in reply to: textballoon when clicked on image stays when in lightbox #908684Hello moderators,
Thanks for all your replies. I must say that I feel a bit embarrassed, with a bliss on my cheeks, because I have never used a child theme yet! Most CSS stuff that I used was minor and not so complicated, so always used the simple way.
So I guess here is a new challenge for me. But as I understand, doing this afterwords, might cause problems.
Best regards,
ElsFebruary 5, 2018 at 5:35 pm in reply to: textballoon when clicked on image stays when in lightbox #908112I’ll get back on this tomorrow! Thanks for the input, I have some work to do now and hope this will fixed it.
February 5, 2018 at 12:53 pm in reply to: textballoon when clicked on image stays when in lightbox #907917Thanks for your reply.
I don’t have any experience by adding php into files. Only CSS experience.
I tried in the file you’ve mentioned but it gives an syntex error.
Also I’ve tried by the code insert with avia. But the code was visible.
May be you have a link where I can find instructions how to insert php?
I would be very grateful !February 4, 2018 at 2:09 pm in reply to: textballoon when clicked on image stays when in lightbox #907524On another website it also sticks when clicking on the image to the lightbox, but after clicked on the > it disappears https://elsmoes.com/paperworks/
