Hi sgrobert!
1) If you want to remove the logo completely insert this code into the child theme functions.php or enfold/functions.php file:
add_filter('avf_logo_final_output', 'avia_remove_default_logo', 10, 6); function avia_remove_default_logo($logo, $use_image, $headline_type, $sub, $alt, $link){ return ''; }2) We can’t assist with the integration of Ubermenu but afaik the plugin author published a how-to article here: http://sevenspark.com/docs/ubermenu-enfold . You can also use the ubermenu support forum if you have questions regarding the plugin/theme integration.
Regards,
PeterHi!
Enfold does not manipulate or change the search results and it’s a problem of the weak wordpress search engine. You can try to install a plugin like: SearchWP which improves the search engine dramatically. You can also integrate it with the ajax search feature: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/use-searchwp-instead-of-the-standard-search/
Note that the author of the plugin also uses Enfold for his website but we’re not affiliated with him (he’s not a theme coder or support staff member).
Best regards,
PeterHi!
I’m not sure if you can easily use your css code with the LayerSlider plugin and probably you need to hire a developer who can integrate the css code into the slider for you. I recommend to paste the code into the quick css field (Enfold > Theme Options) or into the child theme style.css file. Don’t worget to remove the
<style>and
</style>html tags because they’re not required if you paste the code into css stylesheets or the quick css field.
Regards,
PeterHey jeffkaiser!
No, unfortunately this is not possible yet. You can suggest/request this feature here https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/ and if more users vote for it we’ll look into it.

PeterJuly 20, 2014 at 9:30 am in reply to: Mega Menu – three columns then another beneath that spans the width of all three #293572Hi!
There’s currently no option to expand a column to the menu width. I guess you can expand it with some custom css code but we need to investigate the source code first. Please post a link to your website.
Regards,
PeterHi!
Yes, I added a filter to the sidebar menu. To show the parent page insert this code into the child theme functions.php file or enfold/functions.php:
add_filter('avia_sidebar_menu_display_child', '__return_false', 10, 3);Cheers!
PeterHi olivemill!
Insert this code into the quick css field or child theme style.css file:
#top #wrap_all .bbp-replies+.bbp-pagination { display: block; }Cheers!
PeterHi!
Thanks – we’ll include it with the next update.
Cheers!
PeterJuly 20, 2014 at 9:19 am in reply to: Where can I add html code so that I have a banner under the menu? #293565Hey alvinhy!
You can use this code.
function add_stuff_before_breadcrumbs() { echo '<div class="stretch_full container_wrap alternate_color light_bg_color title_container"><div class="container">'; echo 'Some html content'; echo '</div></div>'; } add_action('ava_after_main_container', 'add_stuff_before_breadcrumbs');Insert it into the the enfold/functions.php or child theme functions.php file and replace “Some html content” with your banner code.

PeterHi P. Bert!
You can try another slider like Master Slider if LayerSlider or Easy Slider don’t work for you. I’ll mark this thread for Kriesi – maybe he can comment on the issue(s) with ipads/iphones. Personally I can only test the videos on Android phones (with Android 4.0 and 4.4) and I’ve not experienced any problems so far.
Cheers!
PeterHey!
Unfortunately you can only display the sidebar after the last fullwidth element. If you’re using a fullwidth element at the very bottom you can’t display a sidebar. Kriesi is aware of the limitation and we’ll try to find a solution when we find some time but it’s a complex problem and there’re too many possible combinations to support them all. Right now you can only display the sidebar if you add a non-fullwidth element (i.e. Textblock or Blog Element) after the last Layerslider (or any other fullwidth element). You can’t display a sidebar between two fullwidth elements/LayerSliders or above a fullwidth element.
Regards,
PeterHey!
The breadcrumb and the meta description will link to the archive page (category page of the category “DASH #10 – Housing the Student” which is http://dash-journal.com/issues/dash-10-housing-the-student/ ) and not to your blog page (which apparently is http://dash-journal.com/dash10-housing-the-student/ ). There’s no easy way to change the link url in the code because this is how wordpress works – category links always link to the archive page which shows all posts of this category and not to a blog page (which was created by the user). You can try to use a redirection plugin like: http://wordpress.org/plugins/safe-redirect-manager/ which should enable you to redirect the url: http://dash-journal.com/issues/dash-10-housing-the-student/ to http://dash-journal.com/dash10-housing-the-student/ .

Cheers!
PeterHi!
You need to copy the sensei folder into the theme folder (wp-content/themes/enfold/sensei).
Regards,
PeterHey!
I just tested the option on your website and it works fine for me: https://www.clipular.com/c/5467346604916736.png?k=qD4GTuqX_3o5Boyf5OIrPXcX_TQ
Maybe try another browser/pc or try to clear the cookie/browser cache and deactivate all browser extensions.

Maybe this post will help you: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/contact-form-e-mails-not-being-sent-because-of-yahoos-new-dmarc-policy/
This fix is required if your host doesn’t allow you to send emails with a different top level domain from your server. Some server administrators block these emails because they want to avoid that the server is used for spam or scam mails. If you want to change the header and include a Reply-To code replace this code in /enfold/framework/php/class-form-generator.php:
$header .= 'From:'. $from . " \r\n";with
$header .= 'From: (Email address hidden if logged out) '. " \r\n"; $header .= 'Reply-To: ' . $from . "\r\n";and replace (Email address hidden if logged out) with your email address.

PeterJuly 19, 2014 at 11:27 am in reply to: main menu dropdown – need the first menu link in the dropdown – too #293321Hey!
No, the default sidebar menu will only list sub-pages and you can’t add new pages manually. As a workaround you can try to deactivate the sub menu (Enfold > Theme Options > Sidebar Layout > deactivate the “Page Sidebar navigation” option) and then use a menu widget (Appearance > Widgets > “Custom Menu” widget) to display a custom menu in the sidebar. You can create a new menu on the menu editor page (Appearance > Menus) if necessary.
Regards,
PeterHi webworkerunited!
This sounds more like an insecure sever configuration than a theme security issue especially because we have no know security leak in the Enfold theme code. Make sure the ftp permissions of the wp-content/themes directory are set to 755 and deactivate the folder index option if necessary. I also recommend to contact the server administrator – maybe the htaccess rules require some tweaks.
Best regards,
PeterHi!
Afaik WPML will use the browser language settings to determine the default language. If the user uses “English” as the default language WPML will redirect the user to “English”. You can change the main language on the WPML settings page (WPML > Languages (“Change default language” button).
You can configure the social icons on the admin page. You must configure these settings for each language separately because Enfold creates a new option set for each language. For the English website go to http://chateaudelaferriere.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=avia click on “Header Layout” and “Extra Elements”. Then select “Header Social Icons” – “Display in XXX” and some new options will appear at the bottom. Then use the language switcher to switch to the French option panel and configure the social icons for your French website.
Regards,
PeterHi!
You just need to activate WPML. Then you can set the theme options (Enfold > Theme Options) for each language and change the language with the language switcher. If you need help with translating the posts/pages please study the WPML documentation: http://wpml.org/documentation/
There’re no special files required to use Enfold with WPML.Regards,
PeterHi sunstarcomposites!
Enfold doesn’t include WPML but it’s just WPML ready which means you can use it with WPML but you must purchase a license for WPML if you want to use it. You can purchase a license here: http://wpml.org/purchase/. Note that you need to buy the “Multilingual CMS” version if you want to use the String Translation extension.
Regards,
PeterHey psbag!
Best regards,
PeterHey!
Try to rename the enfold theme folder to enfold_bak. Then upload the new files (version 2.9.1) into the wp-content/themes directory and make sure a new enfold folder (wp-content/themes/enfold) is created.
Cheers!
PeterHi george!
I’m not sure if I understand the issue. Maybe you can post a link to the maps page and create us an admin account which helps us to check and test the configuration first hand?
Cheers!

Regards,

No, this is not possible by default because wordpress strips html code from excerpts (to avoid invalid html code). You can try to install a plugin like: https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-excerpt/ but I’m not sure if it will work and we didn’t test it with Enfold.
Regards,
PeterHey!
If you want to set a different message for different pages try to use the is_page() conditional: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/is_page
Use it like
function change_form_message($message) { $message .= "<br>- This is the standard message which will be used if no condition applies (http://villabugis.com)"; if(is_page(42)) $message .= "<br>- This e-mail was sent from a Promo Blast on Villa Bugis (http://villabugis.com)"; if(is_page(45)) $message .= "<br>- This e-mail was sent from a another page (http://villabugis.com)"; if(is_page(50)) $message .= "<br>- This e-mail was sent from yet another page (http://villabugis.com)"; return $message; } add_filter('avf_form_message', 'change_form_message');The first message will be used if the message was not send from a contact form on page 42 or 45 or 50. If a contact form on page 42, 45, 50 is used the message will change. You can replace the message strings with your custom text and change the page ids (42, 45, 50) to the page ids of your contact form pages.
Regards,
PeterHey!
You can copy the entire code of /framework/php/class-form-generator.php into your child theme functions.php file. Then the next theme update won’t overwrite your modified code.
Regards,
PeterHey!
It works now. I had to install this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ to generate thumbnails of the translated images/attachments. Imo this is a bug of the WPML plugin because the user must regenerate the thumbnails manually and the WPML simply ignores the existing thumbnail settings. The correct behavior would be that WPML creates the thumbnails automatically as soon as it adds a translation of a media file.
Cheers!
PeterHi!
There’s no real full-height option but you could use a very high height value (i.e. 1080px or 960px) for the maps element: http://www.clipular.com/c/6679941030608896.png?k=X6_rvh6omQn6CBTuo1Y3zTSo02U
